I was in this exact position. Before, nung bagong lipat ako sa Aus ng Feb 2019, wala ako kahit laptop for the 1st 2 years kasi nagtitipid ako ng pera. Student visa ako nun - naglilibrary ako para matapos assessment or nanghihiram sa pinsan para makagawa hahaha. Nung nagrant na ako ng 491, dun na ako nag all out. March 2021 bumili ako gaming PC saka todo upgrade ako that year - Ultrawide monitor, 3070ti, wireless peripherals all the bells and whistles hahaha. Oct 2022 bumili naman ako 4kTV and PS5 kasi nagrent na kami ng house and mas marami na space ko. Lagi ko iniisip na malaki gastos ko pero at least nakatipid ako sa lahat ng fees kasi wala ako agent ever and di ako nagretake ng PTE so may pang splurge ako (kinumbinse ang sarili HAHAHA)
