Yes. Nung nagpunta kami sa bank verification lang. U can use it right away. We transferred via bank transfer. Nag ingat lang kaya bank to bank nlng ginawa namin. From Singapore to Australia

Ano po ang recommended banks for incoming migrants? Ok daw po ang westpac kasi walang account keeping fee? Pero madami ako kakilala na naka-ANZ. Any insights po? Thank you.

Good day po @hrrivs, I am using westpac at the moment. If you are under 29, waive yong $5 na account fee. They started billing me $5 nong time na nag 30 na, pero i maintain at least $2,000 each month, para ma waive yong account fee.

Most of my friends, they are using commbank due to perks.. Nakakuha sila agad ng cc after a year, and more perks pa check lang sa official website. ANZ din sa mga friends ko na galing ACN..

It took 1 day para mareceive ko yung email. Pero meron ding right after registration may email kagad.

Ok thank you so much po. I actually emailed din yung tech support nila and idk na may memo na pala sila na hindi advisable na yahoo acoount ang gamitin for registration due to some technical issues. 😅

My TB history din po ako ang helpful yung mga info nyo. Regarding po sa form 815 health undertaking, Nakapagpa schedule po ba kayo ng agad ng check-up pagdating ng AU? may waiting time po ba like weeks?

Plan kase namin mag entry for 2 weeks (before big move) so need to check kung kakayanin magmedical pagdating dun.

Please help advise po.

Based sa nakita ko sa youtube, wala siya inflight meal, wala siya inflight entertainment kaya dapat
magdala ka ng ipad for entertainment. You will be arriving close to midnight kaya yung susundo sa iyo.
And of course check niyo rin ito

And of course baka magkamali kayo na dalhin ang aeroplane food sa bag na magkapenalty kayo
sa immigration worth $2600+ audollars.

Hi, hingi lang sana po ako tips about sa magkano usually dapat ang dala namin na pocket money sa big move? Couple po kami, recently granted 190 NSW. Planning sana kami to cover at least 3-6 months living expenses or kulang pa po ba yun? Thank you!

To be eligible for citizenship, you cannot be away from Australia for over 12 months in total during the past 4 years. Kailangan na 4 years yung continuous residence, so if you want to count your days during your first entry, the time between first entry and BM should be less than 12 months. Otherwise, you will have to count the BM date as the start of your 4-year residency.

"When you apply you must have been:

living in Australia on a valid visa for the past 4 years
a permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen for the past 12 months
away from Australia for no more than 12 months in total in the past 4 years, including no more than 90 days in total in the past 12 months."

I don't have kids, but I ordered food on my Cebupac flight. Any food served in the plane should be left on the plane. Pwede kayo magbaon ng pastries as snacks for the kids (if may laman sya na meat like sausage/hotdog, iwan nyo ang leftovers sa plane kasi bawal magdala ng meat into Australia). I almost got a penalty for this when I first arrived because I forgot to eat my baon (pastry with sausage) during the flight.

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is a fair distance away from the city, but you can take the Skybus from airport to the city. Just check that your arrival time is within the service schedule (4am to 1am), so you can catch the bus to the city. You can prebook your Skybus tickets online.

There have been posts about average monthly living costs (please use the forum's search function) to get an idea of the numbers.

It depends on where you are planning to move, if Sydney or regional area. Sydney rent is expensive, but it may be easier to find your first job (possibly odd jobs if willing kayo). If office job ang habol nyo, it may take several months to actually get a job you want. If regional area, rent may be cheaper.

Nagreply sila after 10days.and no wla pakong check up until now. Tatanungin ka lang nila kung mag a out of the country ka in 6months. I said no kaya wala pa akong check up. Not sure kung aalis ka what will they do.
