Hi! Share ko lang experience namin sa Bank Account Opening - We arrived here in Melbourne Monday (Feb 28). My husband already signed up using CommBank prior to our arrival. When we went to his bank Tuesday, he still needed to go back Friday because the branch can't accommodate him. Comes Friday, we still need to wait for 2 weeks for his ATM card to be delivered. Ako naman I tried walk in sa NAB same Tuesday, I waited more than an hour since I don’t have an appointment and it was already after lunch time but I got my account online same day. I went back the week after to claim my NAB ATM card. So hindi pala mas mabilis sa CommBank based sa experience namin.

Hi po! yung check in po ni PAL is allowed po na 30kg per piece? Or need po ba sya hatiin pa na 23kg per piece? Nagsearch kasi po ako sa website nila may article na nakalagay 23kg/piece tapos meron din pdf file na ang nakalagay is 32kg/piece. Sorry po huhu! first time lang din kasi po namin po mag fly palabas ng pinas kaya nalilito din ako po 🥹💖

Check muna ang dimensions ng luggage niyo, then sukatin niyo kung length, width, height kung pasok sa dimensions.

Bili kayo yung may hook na weighing scale, mas accurate yun para sa akin, hindi yung body scale. Sinubukan ko yung dalawang body scale, Smart scale yung isa, yung isa ay regular, yung isa yung nakahook. Nung nagarrive ako sa airport yun ang pinaka close.

1 month before, dapat nakaimpake na kayo. Mahirap pag may nakalimutan kayo sa Pilipinas.

Check niyo ang maximum luggage weight na binook niyo sa PAL. 30kg yan kung wala ka extra luggage na binook.
Meron yan conditions. Kung allowed ka magdalawa ng dalawang luggages sa check-in na 30kg.
If magdagdag ka ng at least 5kg, kailangan mo ng dalawang luggage kasi nga ang maximum ay 32 kg. Kasi may manual rin na magbubuhat and itransfer ng worker yan, ang maximum ay 32 kg per piece. Kawawa naman sila pag lumampas ng 32 kg sa paglipat ng luggage.

Kung alam mo na ang total weight na bubuhatin ng luggage mo ng mas maaga and alam mo magexceed ka, purchase ka na agad ng extra weight online agad agad kasi habang papalapit ang flight mo, iba na ang presyo yan. And kung sa airport ka pa magadd ng weight, mas lalong mahal yan. Unless, magoff load ka ng gamit sa airport. Hassle na yan. Saka siyempre using a credit card, meron 1-2 days clearance pa yan sa airport, purchase early para iwas hassle.

Magpadala ka rin ng extra gamit sa kamaganak mo, just in case gusto mo sulitin ang weight ng luggage mo na pagdating sa airport, ang lumabas ay 28 kg pero ang binayaran mo ay 30kg. Yung gamit na pwede mo ilet go, pwede mo rin dalhin sa AU.

Carry-on bag, 7 kg yan if sa economy ka. Then pwede ka iallow ng laptop bag para sa laptop, accessories. Check mo rin yung dimensions, weight, and kung allowed ka pa ng personal bag for free na pwedeng ilagay sa baba ng upuan

Thank you so much po!!! Planning din sana po ako magdala ng religious items like isang maliit na St Jude etc pero di ko rin kasi sure po kung saan sila gawa (wood, fiberglass?) so hindi ko rin sure if allowed po so baka wag nalang ako magdala to be safe. Maraming salamat po

Meron ba ditong ang ginawa for employment sa Australia ay nagpatransfer internally sa current company sa Pinas (or elsewhere)? For example, I work for a multinational company na may office sa Sydney. I know it depends sa company, pero just wanted to check if anyone's tried that and how it worked out. At kung sino ang kinausap niyo sa company, kung HR ba. Daming marites sa current company ko so don't want to be asking around dahil ayaw kong manotify muna na plan ko magmigrate lol. Thank you!

Yes, ung officemate ng ate ko, nag pa transfer lang after makuha ung PR visa. Big MNC company sa Ayala. So eto na nga ung effect ng marites, kahit ako alam ko. lol

Yes po pwede, yun din inoffer ng boss ko sa akin nung nagresign ako. Bale kailangan kausapin yung HR tas dapat may offer na role ung branch sa Sydney, yung last day of work mo sa PH office, next day will be your work day sa Sydney office. Hr to hr ang magcoordinate.

Hello, anyone here who is holding a 482 visa and wanted to add de facto partner and child to the visa? Wanted to ask sana the following --- would it be an issue if si partner have not been working sa pinas? We decided he stays home to take care of our daughter for the first 4yrs. Given this, anything finances related I covered so wala kami essentially shared financial obligations. We've been living together for 8yrs. Other than brgy certificate of residency and bank documents, what other docs should we prepare to prove relationship?

Its better to open overseas kasi yan lang hiningi. Pag dito kana nag open may secondary identification na hinihingi, which is medicare. If ur willing to wait for the medicare samin mga halos 4weeks pwwde naman

I think so, kasi lalabas ka ulit from PH to AU. I'm assuming you are still on a PH passport so they will likely look for the pre-departure requirements from you, since makikita nila na PR visa ang gamit mo papuntang AU.

Less of a scam yan pag sa pinoy fb groups mo nahanap. Pag marketplace rampant, so I suggest join pinoy groups muna at the moment.

According po sa cfo months nadideliver ang sticker. Puwede din po pick up if nag online kayo. Pero ung online po meron digital certificate na iniissue para ipakita sa immigration. If you want the sticker po and convenient sainyo better to do face to face.

Galing din akong SG nung nagBM. Tapos nagbakasyon nung Aug lang. Hindi ako hinanapan ng CFO. Binigyan ako ng travel tax exemption. Pinakita ko lang passport at PR visa grant tapos okay na.

I opened up NAB yesterday. 0 fees lahat. Unlike sa commbank. Atm will be delivered 5 working days. I think mas ok sya.

BM namin sa Perth on June 12. We're lucky na may family na mag vacation overseas for 3 mos. Pina rent nila ang house nila. We've gone thru the usual process. Property viewing (a good friend did it on my behalf), submission of proof of income etc. Even yung car nila ay pwede namin i-rent (300/month). May contract and all.

Big help ito sa amin kasi we don't need to shell out for furniture and appliances agad.

Hi! If visa 190 holder and na hire ng employer sa pinas habang offshore pa pero start date is few days after arrival, may I know if may need pa asikasuhin na docs sa pinas like POEA? Or no need kasi di naman considered OFW and resident na? Ano din po madalas hinahanap sa immigration airport sa pinas? Thank you! 🫶
