Nakapagbigmove na rin po ako nung 2nd week of April, tapos nagstart ako magapply ng work after 2 weeks, the next day, may kumontak sakin na company at ayun hired narin sa wakas, mabilis ang process dito, parang 2 days lang nagawa ung initial, final interview at job offer, di rin sila barat (Mining company, Oil and Gas experience ko sa SG , kinonsider nila) binigay nila ung asking salary ko , kaya sobrang thankful talaga.

1.) TFN – received via mail after 1 week
    2.) Medicare – waiting
3.) Drivers Licence transfer – Awaiting exam
    4.) White Card – completed
5.) Bank – Commbank, nag open kami 2 weeks before arrival.
6.) Sim Card – Optus sim only plan (39 aud lang 100 GB data, unlimited International call)

Oil and gas ih.

Tax file Number
    • Saan ka sa AU? QLD.
    • Hula lang ha: mountainbiker ka? hindi haha

Konti lang I reckon, most people sa NSW, VIC or QLD usually e. Mas mura mabuhay sa Perth though, been here 4 years and best thing I would say is rent. Makatao haha

May maadvise kayo magandang suburb for families?

Be positive and thankful pa din 🙏🏻

I see. Akala ko mam typo lang talaga.

Anyone interested in a big move guide? Specifically for PR, NSW at solo migrants flying from PH ito. Doing my research now and regularly checking this forum for insights/info, so naisip kong i-compile in a document since na-overwhelm ako sa dami nang need isipin, haha. Still a work in progress but sharing in case it helps anyone else: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18jQIdQkr1Rsq_qRxmexUqQwGdJ53Sax8iFKUfbi6fBE/view

Covers pre-departure to getting settled to managing your visa (as an anxious person na solo flight sa migration lol). Note, lahat ng info dito ay checked as of May 2023 and will continue to update it until it's my turn to make the move. Hindi 'to replacement for official links/information, these are just based on my own research — so if in doubt, double-check/ask pa rin as this doesn't have all the answers :)

Hello. Sa mga kaka BM lang na PR na, you might want to explore yung mga first home buyer benefits. Meron nung mag aadd ng contri sa super to save ng pangdeposit for your first home. Would be good to start early. Food for thought. 😄

Advice lang that it needs to be up to date all the time, pero I don't think things/rules/steps will change unexpectedly naman. Great job! <3

Ni-bookmark ko na HAHA, useful rin for VIC/other state movers alike.
Been compiling a similar list myself. Great help!

Hello. Sa mga kaka BM lang na PR na, you might want to explore yung mga first home buyer benefits. Meron nung mag aadd ng contri sa super to save ng pangdeposit for your first home. Would be good to start early. Food for thought. 😄

Ito ba yung tinatawag na "First Home Super Saver scheme"? :)

I see you're online now, mukhang updating na din yung "First Home Buyer's Grant". Tindi mo @era222! Thanks for all your efforts. I nominate you to be an admin of this page. ;)

Haha gawa ba tayo new thread?

Tindi mo. I sincerely hope you get your approval soon. You're one of the select few deserving to get to Australia.

Huhu thank you, kind words!! Really surreal how this unexpected AU plan has worked out for me somehow so far, so happy to give back <3 Masaya lang talaga akong nagrresearch and nagdo-document (that's my line of work, and after all yang profession ang nagdala sakin to AU), so good to know may silbi sa lipunan :D
