Hi. Just wanted to ask for those anyone na may experience na sa ganitong situation.

I am currently waiting for my 190 NSW grant. Would there be any impact sa citizenship if I move to another state right after the grant to be with my relatives?

When I read the state nomination approval, it says there na I am required to commit for 2 years.

Any thoughts on this?

When you get your grant, you do have a moral duty to reside in NSW, since they sponsored your permanent residency. I've heard from a migration agent that it's fine, what even is a moral obligation, and some of their clients have moved to another state on a 190 visa for job market reasons (I have no proof of this though, just a convo I had with the agent I consulted with).

But I have also read from others that you might encounter issues with your citizenship application, especially if there's no justifiable reason (e.g. no available jobs) for the transfer. The implied question being, why did you apply for a state na 'di mo nilipatan.

Honestly, for peace of mind, I'd just stay in NSW. After 2 years, you can move naman na. I feel like the question will always hang over your head and personally, stressful.

2 years is really short. Di mo mamamalayan yan if you're working. Imho, what you're planning to do is not worth the risk. Just commit the 2 years para safe, konting tiis lang to, nasa AU ka na, you're free to visit your relatives anytime (and vice versa).

Just to add, long before the citizenship, one way or another the states will make contact with the people they nominated and been granted the visa to touch base and hear from you. D'yan pa lang, they will ask you and you will need to explain why you moved to another state. And I can only imagine, the elaborate process of doing that. Ok naman kung ma-defend or ma-explain mo, I guess wala problema yan.

But, see, kung kaya naman mag stay with the state that nominated you, bakit hindi di ba? Just comply, para wala na rin sila masabi haha. 2yrs will just pass by, you wont even notice it.

There's really no straight answer to that unfortunately. You can just be guided by the processing times published by the DHA for each visa subclass.

Naabutan tayo ng pahinto ng grant. Normally yung mga naCO ng end of March at first week ng Apr, may grant na sila a month later. I was expecting mine ng mid May but they stopped granting after 1st wk of May. Feeling ko lang talaga it will be given to us this July since it will be 3 months after we had CO contact. Crossfinger. God will provide 🙏🙏🙏

Most likely ganito din po ipapagawa sa husband ko, ask ko lang po kung handwritten yung pag sign na ginawa nya or pwede kaya attach na lang ng e-signature sa Adobe Acrobat? Thank you po.

Hi po. Better to sign it with hand then scan. I remember yung assessment pa lang, binalik sa akin lahat ng docs na may e-sig ako. They don't accept e-sig raw so I assumed ganun din ang DHA
