Pag nasa EOI stage palang then bumaba pts while waiting for an invite unfortunately invalid na ang EOI kasi need 65 minimum para mainvite. For your 2nd question na nagkainvite pero di naglodge, marami nakaranas nito last year due to expired docs. Wala issue dito kasi ang EOI pwede mainvite 2x before maging invalid.

Locked in na ang pts after mareceive ang invite. So kung nainvite ka today and bumaba pts mo sa age tomorrow, it doesn't matter.

    1. Pre invite is when your EOI or ROI is selected by the State and you're invited to apply for nomination. For applicable States, you need to submit ROI in addition to EOI.
    2. AFAIK it's ACT and VIC. Si NSW naman is direct application to the RDA.
    3. Yes for applicable states.

Hi! For #2, is this NSW RDA thing still applicable? Or EOI alone is enough?

NSW had 2 pathways. One is direct application with an RDA and the other one is waiting for an invite from the State. Each uses separate occupation lists. Not sure if this will change this year.

Hi po, asking for a friend.

Eto po ba ang usual steps for Medical Radiographer Application to Aus?

    1. English Test - PTE/IELTS
    2. Skills Assessment - ASMIRT
    3. Professional Registration - APHRA
    4. Apply EOI
    5. Apply for Visa once invited

    My other questions:

    1. At which stage do we start APHRA? Is it while ASMIRT assessment is on-going as they are separate assessing bodies?
    2. Is Professional exam for radiographer taken from overseas or onshore after arriving to Australia?

Happy to hear all of your experiences and insights.

    Thanks heaps!

Tama po ba itong site ng NSW for ROI? If yes, need po ba magcreate ng account here para makapag apply for ROI once open na? Tried to create an account pero nanghihingi ng AU phone number..

Or once open na yung ROI sa NSW saka lng magkakaroon ng link for ROI and no need na to create an account?

For 190 ba hinahanap mo? Walang ROI na required sa NSW for 190, if I remembered correctly. VIC lang ang may need ng ROI. For 491 naman, browse further on the NSW website. Meron sila dun links to the RDAs. Alam ko per RDA ang instructions for 491. Di ko lang sure kung open na sila.

While for VIC, closed pa for the new FY. May nag try mag create ng ROI before, pero wala yung form to submit one.

Tama po ba itong site ng NSW for ROI? If yes, need po ba magcreate ng account here para makapag apply for ROI once open na? Tried to create an account pero nanghihingi ng AU phone number..

Or once open na yung ROI sa NSW saka lng magkakaroon ng link for ROI and no need na to create an account?

In addition, NSW and Vic lng ba need ng ROI?..salamat sa sasagot..

For 190 ba hinahanap mo? Walang ROI na required sa NSW for 190, if I remembered correctly. VIC lang ang may need ng ROI.

Closed pa ang VIC for the new FY though. May nag try mag create ng ROI before, pero wala yung form to submit one.

Yes po..I see..so once submitted na yung EOI for 190 antay2 nlng talaga anu for NSW if magopen na sila for invitation...

Pero kung 491 sa NSW need ng ROI? If yes, no need na to create an account dun sa website and may link lng ng form if ever magopen na?

Hi. Just wanted to ask for those anyone na may experience na sa ganitong situation.

I am currently waiting for my 190 NSW grant. Would there be any impact sa citizenship if I move to another state right after the grant to be with my relatives?

When I read the state nomination approval, it says there na I am required to commit for 2 years.

    Any thoughts on this?

Probably yes. I heard a lot of people do this pero nakakalusot sa citizenship. But I advice u to live in NSW for two years kasi sila magsponsor sayu. Two years lanh naman yu. At least wala kang problem pag nag apply ka ng citizenship.

Hi po, asking for a friend.

Eto po ba ang usual steps for Medical Radiographer Application to Aus?

    1. English Test - PTE/IELTS
    2. Skills Assessment - ASMIRT
    3. Professional Registration - APHRA
    4. Apply EOI
    5. Apply for Visa once invited

    My other questions:

    1. At which stage do we start APHRA? Is it while ASMIRT assessment is on-going as they are separate assessing bodies?
    2. Is Professional exam for radiographer taken from overseas or onshore after arriving to Australia?

Happy to hear all of your experiences and insights.

    Thanks heaps!

I think you only need the assessment during EOI. You can take care of professional registration when you are granted and looking for jobs.

Anyone correct me if i am wrong, my profession is different. But i have not yet heard of anyone who did professional registration during migration processes.

Adding to note: Use the search bar and search for "radiographer" to find similar paths that you might want to read up on. Check signatures of other radiographers. You should also know your ANZCO code by heart, you can use that in your search as well.

Not in the medical field but I actually registered with a professional organisation prior to my migration. My main reason was that I thought it will help me when I applied for skills assessment. Apparently, the only advantage I had during my migration journey, was a huge discount on skills assessment fees and nothing more.

Imo, getting registered is not a priority during your migration journey. However, if you are certain to pursue your Au migration and have the extra time & funds to process your registration, then do so. Once you get your registration, it will be an advantage for you when doing your job hunting.

Adding to note: Use the search bar and search for "radiographer" to find similar paths that you might want to read up on. Check signatures of other radiographers. You should also know your ANZCO code by heart, you can use that in your search as well.

Thanks for your inputs. I agree with you. The professional registration can just be processed while waiting for visa grant.

Hi po, asking for a friend.

Eto po ba ang usual steps for Medical Radiographer Application to Aus?

    1. English Test - PTE/IELTS
    2. Skills Assessment - ASMIRT
    3. Professional Registration - APHRA
    4. Apply EOI
    5. Apply for Visa once invited

    My other questions:

    1. At which stage do we start APHRA? Is it while ASMIRT assessment is on-going as they are separate assessing bodies?
    2. Is Professional exam for radiographer taken from overseas or onshore after arriving to Australia?

Happy to hear all of your experiences and insights.

    Thanks heaps!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I did have a look at that but the thread for radiographer has been inactive. I think the professional registration can be submitted while visa grant is underway.

Bawat state may sari-sariling process and requirements for 190 and 491. The best answer anyone can give for now is based lang sa previous FY (financial year), since wala pang nire-release ang NSW and VIC for the new FY.

NSW: Walang ROI requirement but last FY gusto nila na sila lang ang specific state sa EOI. So if you are targeting NSW, probably a good move na ilodge mo yung 190 and 491 for NSW separately, and tick "NSW"—not "Any". For 491, they had two streams: (1) EOI invitation and (2) direct RDA application. Hindi ako familiar sa process ng RDA. For more info, read up here: https://www.nsw.gov.au/visas-and-migration

VIC: For VIC, they required an ROI and either 491 or 190 lang—bawal ka mag-apply for both. Who knows if they'll change it this FY. You can read up here: https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/

Exactly. Lalo pag DIY na walang matatanong na agent. Ugaliin ang pag research sa mga opisyal na websites ng mga states. Could not stress it enough.

At tandaan, ang horoscope ay gabay lamang, chareng. :D

Ask the forum for specific doubts, but always refer back to the official websites. Kung hindi alam ang website, tanong lang dito, may magbibigay nyan sayo. :)

For 491, they had two streams: (1) EOI invitation and (2) direct RDA application. Hindi ako familiar sa process ng RDA. For more info, read up here: https://www.nsw.gov.au/visas-and-migration

VIC: For VIC, they required an ROI and either 491 or 190 lang—bawal ka mag-apply for both. Who knows if they'll change it this FY. You can read up here: https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/

Important to keep in mind na 'di pa sila nagbubukas, and need mag-abang sa magiging guidelines nila. Subscribe ka sa sites na yan so you get alerts in your email :) That's what I did last FY! Sa links na binigay ko, this is how to subscribe sa updates:

And learn to backread here in the forum. Meron kasing nagtatanong ng same question like you. So may sumagot na previously, maguulit lang rin yung mga sumasagot.

Also, try to be specific and articulate in the best way that you can with your questions.

If you are just going to ask for the entire guide :s on how to proceed, that's a bit a lot. You need to do your own part first, any specific doubts you can ask here. :)

Also rule of thumb for everyone is to read up on the official websites first. Very rare na incomplete ang details doon, and states are generally really thorough and organised sa info nila. I think that's something na not readily known to all (myself included before, so I kind of get it) so if you want information about the state nomination process (how to lodge EOI for 190/491, do I need ROI, what's the process), go to the state websites first :)

Maganda na aralin talaga yung info, not just skim through it. And take down notes if that helps na hindi ma-confuse sa dami ng bagong info, and yung differences per state.

    Good luck, @kylene_pink!

Exactly. Lalo pag DIY na walang matatanong na agent. Ugaliin ang pag research sa mga opisyal na websites ng mga states. Could not stress it enough.

At tandaan, ang horoscope ay gabay lamang, chareng. :D

Ask the forum for specific doubts, but always refer back to the official websites. Kung hindi alam ang website, tanong lang dito, may magbibigay nyan sayo. :)

Hello cno po dto ang ng diy lng ng application for visa 190 and 491. Need help lng po.. TY

Marami kami ditong DIY. Just post your specific question and we'll try to answer. :)

Bawat state may sari-sariling process and requirements for 190 and 491. The best answer anyone can give for now is based lang sa previous FY (financial year), since wala pang nire-release ang NSW and VIC for the new FY.

Kayang kaya mo yan! I can totally relate. My wife has a really short patience when it comes to dealing with these things. So, I really know the feeling. Haha. Basta chill lang. <3

Try not to overwhelm yourself. Pag may doubt, ask dito agad. Marami naman tutulong sayo, basta maging descriptive ka lang sa tanong mo.

    All the best to you!
