yes i have electronic paper trail of all of the communication I sent. Lahat yun nasa email ko. Meron din reference number from DIAC about my question pero hanggang ngayon wala pa din reply. Pero Im quite confident kasi binasa ko ng paulit ulit yung meaning ng DIAC about closely related occupation. Maybe I'll call them again... Malapit na kasi magexpire yung invitation. sayang naman/

@honeybunny - first and foremost, you may not get any response from DIAC on this. They are not obliged to give any answers from you as most of the details are in the Booklet 6.

"How would you classify if a work experience is closely related to your nominated occupation" - this is a very vague to be honest and this is probably beyond the scope of an institution doing a generalist type of work such us DIAC. Henceforth this is where your assessing body comes in - as they are more knowledgeable in your specific field (in this case pharmacy), they would be in the best position to give an opinion on whether your work experience can be used to claim for points or not.

I know someone from the forum (@wynx) - his work experience overseas was not credited as related by his skills assessing body. So what he did was not declare this as not relevant nalang in his visa application.

While it is true that it is eventually DIAC who will give the points, I go back to my 2nd paragraph above; as these people are generalist, they will have no choice but to base their decision on what was the opinion of the skills assessing body.

Hope this somehow clears any doubts...

Yeah, that is the reason why I'm totally confused. Di ko alam if magproproceed pa ko knowing that there is a chance that they will deny it.

@honeybunny - I don't know how your skills assessing body works but you can prolly try to appeal on your work experience result?!

Just an out of the blue suggestion...

first step is to have qualifications assessed and then you have to take stage 1 exam para ma-classify as suitable for migration purposes. Ok naman both skill qualifications and napasa ko exam plus IELTS no problem. Yung work experience lang talaga yung problema ko. I'm in touch of APC (assessing body) ng pharmacy. I'm just waiting for their follow up reply.

tama ang sabi ni @psychoboy, since the assessing authority for my skill (ICAA), did not consider my work experience abroad, hindi ko na lang cya sinama sa pag claim ng points. Buti na lang ung work experience ko sa Pinas ay counted.

can i assume na maiinvite kami dahil pasok naman yung points? yun nga lng eh mas
matagal ang waiting time? or posible na totally hndi mainvite let say umabot na
ng 2 years (hopefully not) yung EOI from the day na sinubmit?

bale ang accumulated points nyo po eh 55 + 5 (for SS) = 60 points?

Depende po kung na reach na ang ceiling...

Excerpt from Dec 2012 report:

"Invitations are subject to yearly occupational ceilings. The following occupation has reached its annual occupational ceiling:

Chemical and Materials Engineers

No further invitations can be issued for this occupation group until 1 July 2013. This limitation does not apply to Employer Sponsored or Business Innovation and Investment visa classes. For clients with an Expression Of Interest in this occupation group, your Expression Of Interest will remain valid for two years from the date you submitted your Expression Of Interest."

ung bang 60 points mo kasama dun ung additional 5 points for State Sponsorship? Base sa timeline nung mga visa 190 ang inaapply, kapag na aapprove cla ng SS, automatic yata sila nakakatanggap ng Invitation eh.

Quota for 1 fiscal year which runs from July to June; next year pwedeng tanggaling nila ito sa SOL/CSOL depende sa maging migration plan ng mga taga DIAC...

So far, I haven't read of any new plans for the next fiscal year.

@wynx - ibig bang sabihin if ok ang SS application, they will ask you to lodge your visa application na (eto ba yung automatic nakakatanggap ng invitation)?

if positive ang SS, lodge EOI then wait for invitation to apply for the visa?

Thing is kailangan ng EOI in order to be invited by the state...

What most people do is that they already submit their EOI before they submit their SS application - this way sa SS application mo, you can already quote your EOI reference number so that automatic na ang invite mo once approved.

However, if you get an SS approval pero wala ka binigay na EOI reference - the state will get back to you and ask for your EOI. Only then will you get your invitation.

@sharean07 kailangan mo muna mag submit ng EOI kasi hahanapin nila sa SS applicatiom mo EOI reference number. para kapag approved ung SS application mo, makakatanggap k n rin eventually ng invitation to lodge.

Yes - when you tick 190 kasi, it will automatically give you another +5 points. Pwedeng pwede for your case 55+5=60

Just make sure na you will get the SS nomination, otherwise bale wala din lahat.

@peach17 Wow ang galing! 70points namn pala kaya mabilis.. hoping and wishing kayanin ni BF maka-8 sa IELTS, if so kaya ng 70points, else 60pts lang dahil section 3 yung school nya.

Baka MAY pa sya mkpag-EOI kse April pa sya mag-IELTS. Sana talaga maging okay. Kaht umabot ng 3months, ok lang bsta magkaron ng invitation.
okay lang yun sis @katlin924. pag pray natin na mataas sya sa IELTS.
Mauuna ka pala talaga sa kanya no? Flight mo na sa May di ba?

Before nag-email ako sa office handling the health requirements asking about my medicals. sinabi naman nila na cleared na and waiting for CO nalang to view it.

Dunno if such can still be done now.

First of all, mag papa certified true copy na po ako ng documents for ACS requirements. I am also thinking of certifying the documents for the DIAC narin kasi parang mas makaka mura ako kapag lahatan na yung CTC. I am in singapore, so I found in this forum that merong first 5 ata nasa 10 SGD then 2 SGD following documents na. Meron lang po akong help na kelangan if you can help me vet thru the documents baka may nakalimutan ako.

Main Applicant - 263111 Computer Network and Systems Engineer
Photocopies of the following to be CTCed
ACS
1) Birth Cert
2) Passport
3) College Diploma
4) College Transcript
5) COEs
6) Vendor Certificates

DIAC (Wife and two kids are dependents)

Hi @ringo, I think sa medicals lang gagamitin yung 4 passport sized picture.
D na yun need ipa stamp.

San mo po nabasa na may iba pang requirement na 4 photos?
