@RyanJay, meron akong nabasa from this forum din na ung ACS nag sabi na mas suitable ung isang code kaysa sa ni-nominate nya... But you have to consider it will take the assessment longer as expected it will have turn around time back and forth between you and ACS.

I suggest you plan and take it carefully kung ano talaga ang "swak" sa yo. May mga roles and responsibilities sila dun that you can mix and match.. Sayang din kasi ang bayad if let say di mabait ung assessor at ilagay na lang na not suitable ka di ba.. Just my two cents.

@amcasperforu kpg ng-apply ba ng SS, meron minimum requirement sa IELTS pra sa IT occupation? sorry kung off topic na.

@solidjeff pre ang alam ko dipende kng anong occupation yng pipiliin mo at kng saang state..pag nag search ka ng mga occupation list ng bawat state nka indicate dun kng anong score mo dapat s IELTS

@Hunter_08 napansin ko kc kay @amcasperforu, di sya nggain ng pts sa IELTS then ng-apply sya ng SS. Pgkaalam ko kc minimum 7 kpg IT occupation lalo na sa NSW.

@Hunter_08 di pa ko ngpapaschedule pre. Di ko kc hawak yung passport ko ngaun, nsa agency for employment pass renewal. Ayun pa nman required kpg ngregister sa IELTS.

@RyanJay I suggest you read through the list ng mga skills and hanapin mo ung may ANZSCO code na closest sa gnagawa mo. Read mo yung description ng skills na yun and then you can tailor your COE to that. In my case kase I prepared the list of tasks for each of the roles I've done tapos pinaapprove ko sa boss and sinama nlang sia ng HR dun sa COEs. At least mas mataas yung chances na macredit yung work experience mo sa nominated skill code mo.

@Hunter_08 and @Solidjeff... Yung sa NSW ko, ang required is 6.0 across on each band... Before 7, last year end of quarter i believe they changed it to a lower one.

Hi @amcasperforu, Nag-apply ka for NSW State Sponsorship? Oks lang ba malaman kung anong ACS equivalent yung school mo? Bachelor's Degree or Diploma?

@katlin924 AQF Diploma major in computing yung nakuha kong assessment for my Bachelors degree...

@eischied_21 oo nga eh sana sa lahat na lang ng state babaan... laking gulat ko nga at sa NSW binabaan ang IELTS requirements nila.. Kaya cguro ngayon sobrang daming nag apply. Before binalak ko sa South Australia, kaya lang two weeks before lumabas ACS ko puno na sa South for Sys Admin... Hopefully maging ok ang resulta ng visa 190 ko kay NSW...

Tama ba na kapag AQF Diploma or AQF Advanced Diploma, 10 points lang pwede ma claim? Pero kapag AQF Bachelor Degree yun yung 15 points?

@katlin924, @Khaosan_Road and @solidjeff, sinalba ako ng Masters degree ko kaya umangat yung points ko kasi mas lower ang points pag di bachelor degree ang assessment.. kaya nakuha ko ang 15pts kasi ang Bachelors and Masters same points. Pag Diploma I think 10pts.Salamat po sa inyo.. Good luck din po sa application

@gacoquia, dyan mag tatagal ang process ng ACS, it only means complete ang napasa mong documents good sign yan

@amcasperforu @Khaosan_Road @katlin924, may bearing din kya yung mga certifications like ITIL pra maconsider na AQF Degree. Wla kc yung university ko sa list ng accredited schools kya bka AQF Diploma lng ang maging assessment sa akin.

may ITIL certifications ako, pero di ko na sinama kasi di ko sure kung san ko iaattach, since nasa assessor na yung stage ko. pwede pa ba ako mag add ng docs?

@amcasperforu - oo nga eh heto na talaga ang waiting game, nauna pang mag stage 4 ang application ko kesa sa friend ko na nag lodge 1 week ago. depende rin talaga sa CO eh noh?

@amcasperforu - thanks, try ko din mag email sa ACS. btw, you are not claiming points for IELTS? galing naman huhu ako wait ko pa assesment bago siguro ako mag IELTS para sure.
