Hi. Di naman sa lahat ng sectors. Ewan ko ba sa office namin kng bakit nila inililipat ung ibang functions.. Napuna ko, wala namang tatangalin sa work. Pero parang freeze hiring sila now. Karamihan sa amin, negative ang feedback sa management sa plan to move some functions to india, sabi namin mahihirapan lang ang project management and quality ng work..
Hopefully mapuna or madinig ng mga bossing..

Brod @wynx - mejo vibrant naman but the thing is karamihan sa mga requirements ay dapat CPA/CA qualified... I hope misis can be able to go past this hurdle though!

May mga work naman na hindi kailangan ng CA/CPA qualification - at sabi din na meron iba na kahit advertised as CA/CPA ang requirement, pwede ang katulad ninyo ni misis.

Pero yun nga, until you will gain local experience, things can be challenging nga daw.

ask ko lang, is it true na may mga posts na job hiring pero actually may nahire na sila? ginagawa lang daw ung post kasi they are just abiding with the law? anyone who can validate this?

@wynx ang nababasa ko sa linkedin, hindi lang daw natatanggal ng recruiters ung job postings minsan. hehhe So nag-aalert and nag-appear lang daw ulit. hehehe Minsan paulit ulit from different recruitment agencies pero same job lang din

ask ko lang, is it true na may mga posts na job hiring pero actually may nahire na sila? ginagawa lang daw ung post kasi they are just abiding with the law? anyone who can validate this?

Not true naman cguro...

Pero pwede gawin nila is that mag post lang ang mga recruiter even though the job is not existing - the reason why they do the posting is that they want to increase the number of names in their database of clients.

@wynx correct. Also bad reputation un sa side ng applicant if paulit ulit nagaapply. It will ring a bell sa side ng company pag nalaman nya na same person lang din pla unh nagapply. Hehhe eto lang din sabi skn ng mga nakakausap kon recruiter. Need din tandaan sang job posting ka na nagapply and sinong recruiter :-)

So far, na-establish na natin na walang bearing ang overseas experience at education background in finding a job. How about professional certifications such as CCNA, MCITP, CISSP, etc? Napapansin ba ito ng mga employers?

Getting a job kasi is a subjective process. Ang experience ko walang bearing ang education pero may bearing kung tamang course kinuha mo. Work experience naman gusto nila sobrang sakto sa ginagawa nila so kung medyo hindi sakto you need to explain it sa cover letter or when you talk over the phone with the headhunter. Professional qualifications tinitignan rin. Maraming competition talaga and dapat you spend most of the time talking to headhunters over the phone instead of applying online. Pag applying online kasi it can come from anywhere in the world at hirap sila mag screen out ng mga CVs na nakukuha nila. If you are just spending your time applying online, wala ka po pinagka-iba sa taga pinas na nag apply rin online. So pick up the phone and call kung may number na nakasulat sa job ad. May mga australians naririnig ko humihirit na "if they want any info from me they better call" kung baga emails and kahit sms messages will be ignored. Medyo masalita nga sila mga tao at advantage natin na marunong tayo mag english. Kapalan lang ng mukha at isipin mo na ka level mo lang sila.

Some companies also do this on a regular basis kasi hiring means that the company is earning and makes the company image look good for investors. Another reason bakit dapat tawagan mo ang headhunter before or after you pass in your job application (i.e. CV and cover letter).

Tawagan mo lahat ng headhunter and ask for the employer. Hindi pa ako nakaka-encounter ng headhunter na hindi sinabi sa akin ang employer. Basta job applicant ka walang kaso iyun. Ingat lang sila sa ibang headhunter na susulutin trabaho nila.
