  ask ko lang po kung totoo po ba na start pa nung September 2012 kailangan daw kung ang partner mo ay foreigner like boyfriend pa lang kahit di mo sya spouse pa kung mag meet kayo sa ibang country like hongkong or indonesia or kahit asian lang or Australia as a tourist kailangan daw na may ipresent ka na cfo certificate? kung wala ka daw ng ganito eh di ka raw papayagan umalis..

  marami daw kasing na offload kapag walang cfo certificate kahit daw tourist lang at makikipag meet sa foreign boyfriend sa ibang country eh kailangan daw yon... implemented daw around september 2012. madami tuloy na coconfused ,madaming mga forums about offloading nabasa ko daming reklamo.. kahit di ka pa mag migrate sa oz for example and magkita lang ng bf na australian lets say sa hong kong hahanapin pa rin daw cfo cert kahit tourist.

  As far as I know, CFO is not a requirement - tourist ka lang naman kasi diba? Doesn't make sense for you to attend such a worthless seminar just because you want to meet up with your bf/gf in a foreign land...

  interesting. does not make sense at all for a tourist visa to get CFO if meeting foreign partner but then I found this memorandum on the Bureau of Immigration:

  I think ang concern ng government eh ang dumadating cases ng bf/gf tourist visa tapos tuloy kasal na.. and then pag nagka-problema eh hindi sila ma-trace ng CFO.. or pag hingi ng tulong sa CFO eh wala sa list ng eligeble for whatever benefits...
  
  so ang initiative nila eh magbigay ng CFO guidance and Counseling...
  para alam mo ang rights mo.. at alam mo kung anu ang gagawin pag may issues..
  
  so kung ayaw ng hassle.. wag mo na sabihin na mkkpagkita ka sa bf/gf..
  but then, makikita nila sympre sa visa mo sino ang nag-sponsor ...
  
  related to this, marami din kasi ang umaalis, tourist visa papuntang Dubai for example,
  tapos maghahanap ng work eh hindi na babalik.. ang daming mga pinoy na nag-expired ang visa at kailangan ngaun ng tulong dun.. eh undocumented pala..

  Yung ibang immigration agent lang daw naghahanap , parang ginagawang rason at pang ipit .sa pasaherong aalis kahit bakasyon lng and walang plano magpakasal like if magmeet ibang bansa not bad the country of the foreign bf . Nabasa ko lng .sa mga ibang website about downloading.

  or if magka leche leche talaga, fight for your right... walang ganito na batas as far as we know!!

  If say your jsut going to singapore to meet your prospective bf will anyone at NAIA ask you that personal question? I dont think you need that CFO bullshit certificate if you only hold a tourist visa. But, I wouldnt be surprise if people from CFO start doing this they would do anything to get money from everyone.
