Nag graduate po ako ng BS CE and nagwork as QS. since wala naman tayo seperate course for QS sa pinas mga Engineers din ang ating mga QS. Now as I am planning to apply for skilled worker visa sa Australia I came to know na may seperate requirement sila for QS since ibang course pala sa ibang bansa yun. Kailangan daw may tinapos na study relating sa QS which I do not have. And hindi rin ako ppwede mag apply as CE dahil wala akong experience.
Upon further research nakita ko ang Construction Estimator Occupation (ANZSCO Code: 312114) which is mostly in line sa duties and responsibilities ko.
Pwede ko po ba iproceed ang application for skill assessment sa Vetassess having my Academic Qualifications as CE, Experience as QS, to nominate Construction Estimator Occupation ?
One of my previous employers dito sa middle east walang duties and responsibilities and employment letter ko. and they are not willing to make one for me. they don't even entertain me anymore. is there any other way to include this employment sa application?

Hi @SinnerMan,
We don't have a separate degree for QS in Philippines. However, we have an institution (PIBE) that provides higher national certificate in quantity surveying.
For your questions:-
For BSCE working as QS, you can get your skills assessed with VETASSESS, AIQS or EA. This will depend on how you comply with the institutions' requirements.
This will difficult as some of the institutions will require you to provide reference letter / COE from the company you have previously worked with. You might be able to find similar situations in other relevant threads here that might help you.

1. Yes, you can nominate Construction Estimator occupation, like me. Kaya lang under 491 visa lang pwede. Hopefully may chance pa rin ma invite.
2. Pwede naman ikaw na gumawa ng Statement of Service ko with all the details then ipa check and sign mo na lng sa previous employer mo.

Yes po. Same po tayo BSCE, QS experience for 10 yrs, Nagpa-assess ako for Construction Estimator.
Pede ka gumwa ng statutory declaration. Attached the email ng ex employer mo na ayaw mag provide ng Reference Letter or kahit sa magpa sign ka na lng sa Manager mo dati. Pede din yun kung ayaw mag issue ng HR.
