May rumors na ba regarding Feb 2024 invitation round for 189....

Just submit your EOIs , and submit for all states , at least you gain seniority in terms of DOE. WA will resume again next FY.

Try to get superior to increase chances although may nakita ako na invited sa occupation mo na 75 including state points .

Hi po, regarding employment section po sa visa lodgement. Nalipat po ako ng new work after receiving an invite last year. While lodging the visa, i-nadd ko na si new work ko sa employment history.

Okay lang po ba na i-No yung claiming points then Yes yung related to nominated position?

Hi, anyone makaguide kung sang states ang hindi nag rerequire ng job offer/contract? I'm currently in WA as a student. I already lodged EOIs for 189, 190WA, 491WA. I would like to know my other options kung saang states ako eligible to lodge an EOI. I'm a civil engineer btw.

Unfortunately onshore interstate applicants are only accepted in WA , others don’t accept as i checked NSW, VIC ,QLD all need to be working and living on their state . Please check each and every state you are eligible , one more is SA which can only be accessed through Highly Skilled Talent Pathway with relevant work experience in Defence Industry and in niche industries .

Skilled Workers living and working in Queensland are eligible for Subclass 190 and 491
Subclass 190: Minimum 75 points for 190 (70 for trades) and must have been working in nominated (or close) occupation for minimum 3 months and should have evidence of further 12 months of ongoing employment (from EOI lodgement).
Subclass 491: Minimum 65 points and must be working regional Queensland in nominated (or close) occupation and should have evidence of further 6 months of ongoing employment (from EOI lodgement).
Queensland Graduates living and working in Queensland are eligible for Subclass 190 and 491

Experienced candidates with Superior/Proficient English and Skilled Partners are priortised for Subclass 190. Salary in skilled occupation plays a strong role in selection. Onshore applicants must be living and working in regional VIC to be eligible for 491 nomination.

Priority sectors for 190 and 491 include: Health, Social Services, ICT, Early Childhood, Primary ,Secondary and Special Education Teachers, Advanced Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy. Hospitality and Tourism is a priority sector for 491 only.

Thank you so much for the very helpful information. Ngayon ko lng nalaman na di pala pwede mga interstate na applications. Mas better pala offshore if gusto more chances since marami pwede mag invite. Tho malaki din chances sa WA onshore, pero closed lng at the moment.

If you can wait mag open since WA is known to prioritise those living in WA , you have higher chances. Now ko lang din na realise ,it doesn't mean na onshore na there is a myriad of pathways to choose from. It limits pala sa state na you happen to reside and work.

SYNOPSIS:

Today's round was focused towards inviting experienced applicants of occupations falling under NSW target industry sectors – Health, Education, Infrastructure, and ICT. NSW considers multiple factors when selecting EOIs. These include your points score, English language proficiency, and your skilled work experience. NSW prioritized EOIs submitted in NSW target sectors.

Note: The mentioned points include state's 5 points.

• Physiotherapist at 70 / 80 pts, onshore

• Audiologist at 70 pts, offshore

• Retail Pharmacist at 85 pts, offshore

• Construction Project Manager at 85 pts, onshore
