Hello everyone! Lodged my VETASSESS application on May 1, 2023 for Marketing Specialist occupation. They asked me for an organization chart last June 13, which I submitted within 24 hours. However, until now I haven’t heard from VETASSESS. It’s been almost 6 months now. 😢 How long should I wait for the standard processing?

    Thank you so much.

hi @marketingspecialist , . Usually 6-8 months lumalabas result ng vetassess.. Pareho tau situation, may hiningi silang docs then total of 7 months lumabas ung positive skill assessment ko. Hope nakatulong:)

I got my result na po. Positive with 5 years work experience.

Thank you so much for your insights po. :)

Hi, anyone knows how to check DPI of scanned file? How to check if it meets the 300DPI requirement of VETASSESS?

kailangan po pala na 300DPI ung documents? How about documents taken from scan phone? ok lang kaya yun?

This document will be an additional supporting document.

    Thank you.

    Hi guys!

For example humihingi ng additional employment docs like itr, more payslips, employment contracts, etc? Or most of the time kung ano nakalagay kay vetassess sinusunod nila?

Worried lang ako baka hanapan pa anything from employment 10 years ago. Mahirap makakuha ng records from previous employer.

    Thanks sa sasagot.

    Hi Everyone!

I have a couple of questions about VETASSESS' Qualification and Employment evidence requirements.

My degree is in engineering, but I'm currently employed as a data analyst. I intend to nominate the occupation of Statistician, since its job description matches my daily activities. Unfortunately, an engineering degree is not listed among the relevant fields of study for Statisticians. Is that going to be a problem? I read somewhere in this thread that they tend to subtract 1 year from your work experience if your degree does not fall under their relevant fields of study. Kaso nga lang less than 2 years pa lang work experience ko.

Regarding my resume and employment evidence, should I modify my job title from Data Analyst to Statistician? Similarly, do I need to change my official position title from Data Analyst to Statistician on my Statement of Service? I'm worried I won't get a positive assessment if my job title is Data Analyst. I can maybe ask our HR to change my job title to Data Statistician or something similar.

Hi po, ang 1 year deduction ng work experience ay para lang po sa "With highly relevant field of study" , automatic mag deduct si Vet ng 1yr experience. If not highly relevant field of study, longer years and ang ideduct nila.

Thank you for the clarification! Muntik pa pala ako mag spread ng wrong info about sa deduction ng years. Haha!

I hope someone answers my question about employment evidence.

About po dun sa statement of service, hindi mo po mababago ang job title/ position mo kasi yung letter of appointment mo I think na nakalagay din ay "Data Analyst", which is issubmit mo din sa Vet as supporting document. Vetassess will look for your job description/ duties rather than the position I think. Like in my case, ang job title ko "Project Engineer" pero hindi yun ang nominated occupation ko. Positive naman po ang outcome.

Just to share, my educational background was Engineering but nominated occupation was HR Adviser. Positive assessment but deducted 3 yrs of work. Sa Statment of Service, important na yung itemised roles and responsibilities mo will match or will be similar to your nominated application. Di kailangan same yung title.

Hi po! I'm a total noob here and magsa-start pa lang po mag-gather ng documents for VETASSESS.

I have a concern regarding my payment evidence from previous employers. No more records na dahil sa sobrang tagal (more than 10yrs). I don't have payslips & ITR anymore and I can only provide COE.

The thing is, hindi rin po complete yung SSS contributions from before, and lately lang ako nag-sign up for PAG-IBIG.

Ano pa po ang possible solutions and magiging delikado po ba ang application ko because of this?

Ano po ba yung susundin ko pag maglalagay ako ng years of work experience sa EOI? Yung nilagay lang ba na date deemed skilled lang ni VETASSESS or pwede yung actual years of experience ko?

Mag 8 years na kasi ako sa work ko, 6.84 lang nilagay sakin ni VETASSESS. Sayang naman yung points kung pwede ako pumasok sa 8 years of work experience.

    Salamat po sa makakasagot.

Sa palagay ko po, yung nilagay lang na date deemed skilled ni Vetasses, yun lang po ang ilalagay nyo sa actual years of work experience.

I think you need to follow the 6.84 given by Vetasses, para hindi ka po mag overclaim ng points.

Hello, anybody here who submitted work evidence from freelancer work?

My contract started in Feb 2023, but I was only able to register and get my COR in September 2023. I'm wondering if it's possible to get my work credited kahit partially? (October 2023-present).

Would it be sufficient to just provide a statement of service (saying that I was working for that company from October 2023 onwards) ? and not submit the contract since medyo conflicting yung information?

Hope someone can advise. Thank you!

After mapasa, naka lagay sa status namin "lodged". Hanggang ngayon(jan 29'24-3 weeks later) "lodged parin".

Yung friend ko naman nagpasa Dec18'23, 2 days after, "In Progress" na status nya, Non-priority, Before their christmas break.

    3. Yung start ng process time saan ba ang simula, after mag "on Progress" or "lodged" Status?

Hi, anyone knows how to check DPI of scanned file? How to check if it meets the 300DPI requirement of VETASSESS?

kailangan po pala na 300DPI ung documents? How about documents taken from scan phone? ok lang kaya yun?

Try to use proper scanner, avoid using phone app camera scanners. Nagmumukhang di legit yung doc.

    Hi, noob question po...

Regarding sa VetAsses CV, should I still include freelance jobs in my work experiences that aren't related to the skill I'm applying to (Graphic Designer)? Another concern is since freelance jobs po ang mga yon, mostly cash basis ang payment and I may not have enough proof of payments na ma-provide din.

Maraming salamat po sa mga sasagot :) Have a good day, everyone!

Working as freelance is classified as self employed. The documents needed are listed on the guideline.

Thanks for the response po, I will look this up.
However, should I still include them in my CV even if the work experience is not related to my nominated occupation?

I must have misunderstood your post. My understanding was freelance experience is relevant to nominated occupation?

@bkbkck - seems to me it doesn't make sense to add your freelance jobs since you don't have proof of payment or business registration for you to be considered self-employed. Also, you can submit under subclass 190 din since your anzsco is eligible for it.

    _Self-employed:
If you are self-employed, you are required to provide the following:

    a) Evidence of self-employment such as sole trading or business registration details and /or official statements issued by your (registered) accountant and/or legal team. The statement from your accountant or solicitor must include the accountant's or solicitor's letterhead, your full name, how long you have been continuously self-employed including official dates in each role, the nature of the business conducted, the signature and contact details of the accountant or solicitor. View Employment Reference for Self-Employment template.

    b) Statutory declaration listing your main duties during self-employment;

    c) Payment evidence showing regular income from self-employment, such as client invoices together with corresponding bank statements and/ or official taxation records;

    d) Supplementary evidence, such as contracts with clients or suppliers, client testimonials, evidence of projects completed etc._

Hi good day! newbie on this group. Currently compiling all docs for assessment. I just got married and almost all my valid IDs already reflect my husband's family name, however sa TOR ko and course syllabus and school records still yung maiden name ko. Will the PSA-issued Cert of Marriage suffice as evidence for Change of Name? Thank you.

Yung freelance jobs naman do not cause gaps between employment in your nominated occupation?
