Hello All! Has anyone applied for citizenship here sa batch BIG MOVE 2020? Can you share your story, ano mga hurdles if meron man, or baka ma bigay kaau na tips para smooth yung pag apply.

hi po, im not from big move 2020, but can share insight regarding the citizenship application...

regarding the test review, you can also find it on URL: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/test-and-interview/prepare-for-test

they also have a podcast for it on that link (URL: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/test-and-interview/listen-to-podcast)

download apps on both android and apple phone, just choose the highest rated ones, and it can help you review po, for context, i just read the common bond pdf once and reviewed the questions on the app, on the day of the exam, i also did the practice test URL: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/test-and-interview/prepare-for-test/practice-test-new and that helped me and my wife do 100% on our exam/test

hi all.
medyo off topic. for those granted na citizenship, ng apply po ba kayo for dual citizenship? we are planning mgbakasyon sa pinas, we have ph and au passport , but we haven’t applied for dual citizenship yet. pwede pa rin ba namin gamitin ung ph passport to enter sa pinas? ta

ang alam ko po, please don't quote me on it, once you have taken a pledge for AU citizenship, canceled na po yung PH passport/citizenship nyo, unless kukuha po kayo ng dual citizenship sa PH embassy... as for me po, i find it sayang ang bayad

if hindi na kami mg dual citizen, does it mean up to 30days lang kmi pwede magstay (visa free)? or pwede pa din longer than 30days since natural born citizens before?

Former Pinoys are valid to stay for 1 year. Yun ang tinatak sa AU passport ko last December nung umuwi ako.

yo @mcril22, in my case, wala na hiningi samin, after lodgement for citizenship, test date appointment lang, then approval agad... if meron sila hihingi, usually ang alam ko, in between yun ng test completion at ng approval ng citizenship exam mo/nyo, in our case, dahil na-approve na sya agad, waiting on ceremony na lang kami... susumpa na!!!

Hi po, may nag-aapply po ba ng citizenship in SA right now from this group? Naglodge kasi kami ng application last August pero until now, no update yet. Was wondering if it’s taking longer for citizenship test schedules to be sent out (and if it depends on the state, kasi may nagcomment earlier na less than 2 months pa lang may schedule na).

I think depende rin talaga sa state and luck, I'm based in NSW and I got my test invite after 1.5 months.

I think it varies. I’m in SA. Lodged application last May 2024. Received the appointment letter July, interview was last August.

same case sakin in terms of month, pero ni-reschedule ko yung sakin for an earlier date (July din) and i just got my approval last saturday.

Nag lodge din kami nung August 17, hanggang ngayon received pa din status sa immiaccount

fair enough, i personally don't trust the numbers there as it's highly skew like for example with my partner, her 186 got approved after 15.5 months even though the processing timelines shares that 90% percentile got theirs approved within 9 months.
