Honestly parang may fear of missing out lang ako, iniisip ko kung need ko ba i give up ung isa, baka mag end up ako sa wala.... may application nga rin ako sa Express Entry ng Canada pero yun ni give up ko na un, di ko na ni renew. hahaha.

Keep 'em all! Lol. Pag eligible ka na for AU, edi 3 passports ka na (IE, AU, PH). Pwede naman yun, since all 3 countries allow multiple citizenships, if I'm not mistaken.

Siguro mahirap lang dyan e yung kaakibat na steps to maintain them. Dalawa nga lang may hassle na e. Haha.

EDIT: Dual citizenship lang pala allowed sa Ireland at Philippines. At least according to this site. Mamili ka na lang siguro alin to keep. Grabe lang yung namimili ng citizenship hahahahaha!

At least for Ireland, "on paper" lang yan. Daming EU nationals dito na may more than 2 passports. lol. Ang mas concerning is yung tax obligations, cutthroat sila pag dating sa taxes if you are earning in other countries too...haha

Ay oo nga, yan pa isang hassle nyan. Yung tax implications, it gets complicated. Hoho. Though, merong double taxation treaty ang Ireland and Australia, so you won't be taxed twice.

Nako nainspire mo ko sir a, ako naman baliktad eligible na ako sa Aus citizenship by October pero gusto ko isa pang citizenship haha too early to settle e. Mabasa nga yang process sa Ireland

Pero realistically kasi hahanap at hahanap ka ng employer dapat since general skilled migration pathway ang inapply mo sa DHA. Kaya ka nga nag EOI under 491 eh. If you will not engage in paid work in Australia in the first place, why apply GSM? Sana nag-ibang visa nalang, tourist ganon or WHV.

Diba 2 types ang 491? (as far as I know). One is family sponsored and the other is regional sponsored. So kahit ung family sponsored required ng OFW pass? Ang labo lang...

Ang naaiisip kong workaround if wala ka pang work and hence di makakuha ng OEC, ung common detour sa Singapore or any SEA countries. Besides, online lang naman ang visas ng AU, di siya kita sa passport, right? Minsan lang na fi feel to ng IO since common tactic siya, so maybe apply for a tourist visa for Japan or Korea, then fly from there, mas magastos nga lang. hehe

Ang alam ko may OEC exemption lalo kung first time lilipad talaga at wala pang work sa australia. This is justifiable. Eh nugagawen wala pa talagang work eh. Just want to make my previous statement clear. Haha baka mamisinterpret. My prev statement was intended to answer this:

Hinahanap ko din sa DMV website yung oec exemption. Hindi lang ako makalogin kasi na crowdstrike yata sila haha. Well very pinas nga kasi, ang gulo ng policies.

Add: Yes, 2 ang 491 (family and state) but those streams are just supposed to be your entry to nomination/invitation. And when granted, nakalagay sa DoHA website will allow you to live and work in regional areas. So malinaw naman, ideally one has to work there, hence kelangan ng OEC kapag may employer na. Yun nga lang, there should be exemptions to those entering under 491 without employer yet (kasi pwede naman).

Pero the theory kinda makes sense, OA lang talaga yung sample situation na hindi magwowork for 5yrs in the duration of the visa, but just to point out na hindi employer sponsored ang 491, it's valid, so bakit need ng OEC? Hindi sya tulad ng 482 na tied to an employer yung visa.

Dagdag mo rin talaga yung lapses ng policies sa Pinas. Kagulo na. Lol.

Tingin ko na the best work around is wag magsalita kung hindi naman tinatanong ng IO. Plan ko na hindi kumuha ng OEC ang sasabihin ko sa IO is Provisional Permanent Resident na kami. Lakasan na lang ng loob haha then next year hindi na kami magbabakasyon wait na lang kami magrant yung 191 visa namin haha.

Ito ba yung Compliance Letter Addendum? Ang weird naman na hindi masign ng employer mo yun. Kasi pwede naman nila i-leave blank yung item kapag not applicable sa contract mo. Sa repatriation etc lang naman yun and the rest is based na sa original work contract. Hindi naman sila required ifulfill lahat yun. Kung ano lang applicable. Baka pwede mo pa kausapin ulit?

Add: Medyo recent reqt lang yata yan for all OFWs. Not sure ha. Pero nung pinag provide din ako nyan, medyo hesitant yung employer ko pirmahan. Pero naliwanagan naman sila na hindi naman lahat kelangan matick. Inaccept din naman yung sakin sa Embassy.

Hi guys, nagpunta na kami ng Canberra, base on my experience mabilis lang process. Anyway ito pala ang process ng pagkuha ng OEC para sa mga magbabakasyon na naka 491 para hindi tayo mahussle pagnapag tripan ng IO.

iPaverified muna ang contract sa embassy ang requirements jan is (Hard copy employment, Signed addendum (ppwede nga ang OFW Insurance) (yung sakin manager lang ang pumirma), Hard copy working visa, Photocopy passport at recent payslip) Mabilis lang yung process nung pagpunta namin ng Canberra ewan ko kung sa post office nyo ipapadala. HINDI PA ITO YUNG MISMONG OEC ITO AY ISA SA MGA REQUIREMENTS PARA MAKAKUHA NG OEC
Pagnakuha nyo na yung papers nyo na may tatak ng DMW ibigsabihin nun VERIFIED NA ANG INYONG CONTRACT kaya mag pproceed na ulit tayo sa next step.
Mag register kayo dito https://onlineservices.dmw.gov.ph/OnlineServices/(S(dqtulp32z0c5v5rbmdv0jzc1))/POEAOnline.aspx pag ayaw gumana ang website na yan igoogle nyo is "DMW eregistration" then click nyo lang yung first link dun.
After nyo mag register xempre maglologin na kayo. Ganito ang makikita nyo.

Tapos click nyo yung sa right side ng screen MY PROFILE need nyo ifill up yung mga details nyo tapos scroll down nyo pa may makikita kayong "IDENTIFICATION" then click nyo lang yung "Add New Identification" dito nyo ilalagay and details ng PASSPORT at PAGIBIG****(Take note need nyong lagyan ng PAGIBIG identification no kasi hindi kayo makakapag proceed sa next step).Ganito dapat makikita nyo.
Pagtapos na kayo click nyo yung DASHBOARD makikita nyo yung sa right side ng screen. Pag nasa Dashboard na kayo sa left side makikita nyo yung "BALIK MANGAGAWA" then click nyo after nyong maclick ganito dapat makikita nyo. Dapat green lahat yan kasi hindi ka makakapag proceed sa next step.

Click nyo lang yung next and follow lang, so new employer kasi yan need ng details ng new employer nyo.
After nyo fillupan yung new employer magpapabook na kayo ng appointment sa POEA ang kailangan nyong dalin is yung "VERIFIED CONTRACT" then dun ka na magkakarong ng OEC na valid for 60 days only

Hello guys update ko lang kayo tungkol dito sa OEC.
So ayon! nakabalik na ako ng AU.

Guys! pagpunta nyo sa POEA para ipakita ang verified contract nyo napakabilis lang ng process wala pang 5-10 mins yung process mas matagal pa ang binyahe namin na 1.5hrs from Novaliches to POEA Ortigas. Kapag ok na yung OEC maglologin ulit kayo sa DMW website kung saan kayo nagpa-appointment for OEC at pagtapos na ang lahat dun nyo makikita na ppwede ng iprint yung OEC. (Sana kung na verified na dito AU hindi na pupunta pa ng Pilipinas para lang ipakita sa mga tao dun 😒)
