an invitation is not guaranteed. it may take weeks, months, years, or might never come.

Did it with Visa Consort - they have been very helpful in my journey and thorough with the documents/details, so I think that helped a lot with ensuring my application is complete and decision-ready.

Hello po, question lang po regarding sa pagapply ng visa 190. Sa part po ng employment.

“give details of employment undertaken during the 10 year period before the invitation to lodge this application”

I received final invite from vic last oct 25,2023. Employed po ako that time sa company A and nagclaim din po ako ng points para sa employment na to, but due to some reasons napatransfer po ako sa company B ng Nov 1, 2023.

Nov 15, 2023 po ako nagsubmit ng visa and unfortunately hindi ko napansin na ang ilalagay lang sa details ng employment is 10 year period before the invite. Which is dapat hindi ko na sinama yung company B kasi after final invite na ako nalipat ng company, though hindi naman po ako nagclaim ng points para sa employment na yun.

Tingin nyo po ba big deal po eto? Need ko pa po kaya magsubmit ng notif for incorrect answers. Kala ko po kasi 10yrs employment before ilodge yung visa application 😔

Hi guys. Just sharing this:

https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/visas/visa/australian-resident-visa

Apparently if you hold a permanent resident visa in AU you can visit NZ without needing to apply for a tourist visa. You just need to apply for a travel authority (NZETA). Visa is granted at the border (immigration).

Before considering AU obsession ko din makapunta ng NZ. Huhu. I never knew na this is possible with PR visa. Definitely one of my bucketlist to visit the pristine fjords of NZ and the untouched sceneries. 😭😭

Just one more thing to look forward po for our grants.

Same with my husband! Yan ata maging first destination nmin once magrant ang PR. Gusto nya jan dahil sa Lord of the Rings. HAHAHA

Not only visit, pwede ka rin mag work and live sa NZ straight away with an AU PR, pero siyempre affected ang residency count mo sa AU for naturalisation purposes and respect na rin sa AU na nag grant sayo ng PR. haha

@Cerberus13 oo nga po. Haha. Pero mas gusto ko po ma-citizen agad sa AU. Kaysa po sa NZ. Lalo po mahirap din maghanap work ngayon sa NZ.

No need to update. As per my agent, the application details are already locked-in once it is lodged.

However, if DHA contacts your now previous employer (if you did resign) and they confirmed that you're no longer with them, DHA might ask you for your latest employment details through s56 request - which means additional back-and-forth and waiting for you.

I was also tempted to transfer companies while waiting for my grant, but opted to stay put (and endure it, haha) to minimize further delays.

Feeling ko (again feeling), mabilis ang grants ng 189 kasi baka gusto nila inanalyze which state ang dagsa ng PR after grant, therefore they can do proper state allocations for 190.
