Timeline of Skills Assessment and Visa Grant

Hello PinoyAu!

Me and my spouse submitted our requirements to Vetassess for skills assessment last January 2025 (interior designer and architectural draftsperson, visa 190/491). Is there anyone here who has the same skills as ours? If yes, how long did it take for the assessment and visa grant? For others naman with the same pathway, can you also share the timeline of your grant? Btw, we hired an agency for our application.

skills assessment is not a visa application. you have to be invited to apply for the visa. timeline for invitation is not guaranteed. some people get it, some don't.

You can check here on EOI data from immigration.

Or here on smartvisa database. Although dito kasi more on input ng mga tao lang.

Ako, as Archidraft, na invite sa NSW(190) nung dec 2024, lodged eoi sept 2024 with 80pts. Updated Nov 2024 with 90 points. Tingin kong keypoints ng mabilis na pag invite sakin: superior english, skilled partner(same occupation), 6 years exp. Tapos nung time na yun puro SA at NSW ang nag iinvite ng offshore for the occupation.

    Nominated Skill: 312111
    Target Visa: Subclass 190-OFFSHORE
    Target State: VIC/WA/NSW(got NSW invite)
2016-2019 Always watching vids for Student pathway in Canada, Germany, New Zealand and Australia but lost interest.
2022 Started working in Singapore, lost hope in SG PR. Got interested in Canada/Australia again.
2023 April: Started researching About Australia. At first, I saw student pathway but then stumbled to some youtube video explaining permanent residence can be applied offshore(DIY)
2023 Oct 30: Started Collecting Documents. This took us so long because we are hesitating and overthinking about making contact to our previous employers. We thought we should just do a statutory declaration but fortunately we talked to our friends who are also planning their migration and helped us understand that its easy to request for it.
    2024 Jan 16: Husband's Vetassess Lodging

2024 July : I delayed getting my Vetasses in the hopes of saving the fee if my husband got the invite even with low eoi score(who am I kidding?). Contunued collecting SoS from my past companies cause we realized that 10 points for skilled partner is a huge difference. Initially, I was looking to just submit with only 1 work experience cause my other companies are a bit hassle to deal with but thank God I went throught all the stress and collected them all(pokemon?)

2024 Dec 20: Withdrawn other EOIs. No more budget if ever we get an invite from our 1st choice of State.

Hi. Yes we are aware na skills assessment is different from visa application. I was asking for both skills assessment and visa grant kung gaano katagal ang grant for each. Thanks for the info :)
