Hello Everyone! Finally naka big move nadin kami two months ago from Singapore. So far so good naman at napakalamig dito sa Victoria :) May ask lang po sana ako about flying back to Philippines. Since nag out kami galing Singapore to Australia, if uuwi kami ng Philippines for say a week then fly ulit ng Australia, may hahanapin po ba na documents from sa PH and Australia immigration? Naka visa 190 po kami and since matagal kami nag Singapore, may copy pa kami ng old PDOS cert namin from Owwa so not sure if okay pa yun or it’s a must again to do it. Hope you can share your experience on this. Thank you!

Hello!
Thanks! ;)

We opened NAB during our 1st entry. Andito kami sa PH now for 1 month. OK pa rin naman, accessible pa rin naman siya and nakaka transfer na kami ng PH money namin to NAB via Wise.

You can also look at Macquarie Bank. Ok din rate nila for Savings. For their Transaction account, you also have the benefit of earning interest, no ATM withdrawal fees, and meron silang digital marketplace where you can purchase e-gift cards at a discounted price (i.e. $100 card that you only pay $97)

So, if ikaw ung mahilig magbudget, instead of using excel, super convenient nya for budgeting.

Then you can consider din po digital banks for high savings rate, ako I opened 4 bank accounts, shoutout kay barefoot investor :D I'm using Macquarie, ING, ubank for high interests savings account. Si Macquarie, 4.85% p.a., okay daw if in the future may balak ka mag loan ng house. ING nman, mejo hassle si ING, digital bank to, since parang may mission ka every month para mkuha yung bonus interest na 5.00% p.a. pero forda 5.00%, one of the highest na din so mission mission lang every month haha! And then ubank, 5.00% p.a. din pero may minimum deposit per month, digital bank din to, high interest savings account din to kaya nagopen din ako dito.

Yes po, no minimum deposit for both ubank and macquarie and no monthly fees din. I opened my ubank and macquarie around April, no deposit, then around June na ko nakapag deposit nung nagka salary na ako.

Forgot to mention earlier, CommBank has $4 monthly account fees ata yun parang 2000$ ata need na monthly deposit nya, so ayun din pala need i-consider kay commbank.

Hello!
Thanks! ;)

Hello po. I'm using CommBank, ang ganda ng app nya sobrang modern, tapos gustong gusto ko yung automatically na cacategorized ung mga transactions tapos pede din mag set ng budget per category per month and total budget for the month.

Hi! Question: for U bank magkano yung minimum deposit? I tried to google but it says no minimum. Planning to open an account with either Macquarie or that one. Thank you sa insights!

Add ko lang kay ubank, you can connect pala your other bank accounts in ubank (unless may multi-factor authentication ung bank like Macquarie), you wont be able to connect it. Being said, I think one of the safest si Macquarie because of that. Then, in ubank, you can see your total savings or money sa lahat ng bank accounts mo if you are using multiple bank accounts.

Forgot to mention earlier, CommBank has $4 monthly account fees ata yun parang 2000$ ata need na monthly deposit nya, so ayun din pala need i-consider kay commbank.

Ah okay okay.

Any recommended banks for CC?

Nakita ko yung Commbank sa website nila i-waive daw nila yung $4/mth on first 12 mths pag nag apply online pero need pumunta sa branch in person for verification which is sakto sa pag visit ko next month. ;)

wala pa din kasi akong Au sim, yung Commbank di required may Au number pag mag apply online, chineck ko yung NAB need may Au number na sa online application.

Ohh good to know na pede naman ma-waive, may pagoodwill eme pa si commbank ah haha

Hello!
Thanks! ;)

Hello po. I'm using CommBank, ang ganda ng app nya sobrang modern, tapos gustong gusto ko yung automatically na cacategorized ung mga transactions tapos pede din mag set ng budget per category per month and total budget for the month.

Nakita ko yung Commbank sa website nila i-waive daw nila yung $4/mth on first 12 mths pag nag apply online pero need pumunta sa branch in person for verification which is sakto sa pag visit ko next month. ;)

wala pa din kasi akong Au sim, yung Commbank di required may Au number pag mag apply online, chineck ko yung NAB need may Au number na sa online application.

Yes po either Macquarie and ubank, they're good based on my experience with them so far. As confirmed by @mathilde9 you can waive po ung 4$ monthly fees. Then you can assign your CommBank as salary income account para you don't need to worry sa 2000$ monthly deposit. Don't forget din po to provide your TFNs sa lahat po ng bank accounts na i-oopen nyo. Goodluck sa BM and happy saving! $_$
