    @dft yung sa bridging program? wala, nagpapaka-safe lang. hehehe.. at saka yun na rin kasi advice ng dad ko and sister kaya yun.. kasi pag bridging program pag wala ka mahanap na employer, kelangan mo bumalik sa pinas. unlike pag nag aral ka dun for 2 years, may mga options. una, pwede ka mag apply dun sa post study work arrangements after mo magaral (if im not mistaken 2 years ang ibibigay sayo), so pwede ka na rin magwork dun and maghanap ng employer at the same time, tapos kung yung skilled migrant visa naman ang kukunin mo after ng studies, merong plus points kasi bachelor degree ang inaral mo dun. yun nga lang, mas malaking gastos nga lang talaga at mas time consuming.

    About sa BP naman, may nabasa akong forum, im not sure kung eto rin yun (ang dami ko kasi binabasang forums about student visa. haha) meron daw siyang friend na nagBP tapos ang sabi nung employer kelangan daw may at least 6 months na experience dun sa Australia kaya di siya nasponsor. although sabi naman nung iba, nakakahanap din sila. kaya kelangan talaga mag pursigi sa paghahanap ng employer kasi may kahirapan din maghanap. Yun lang ang negative side ng BP, tapos syempre pressure din sa time.

    Pano po kung student visa holder po ako sa oz, tapos nka hanap po aq work at may employer na mag sponsor na skin. Pde po bang ma convert yung student visa ko to working visa kahit dpa tapos yung course ko? o need talaga tapusin yung course ska mag aaply ng work visa?

    para sa mga student visa kuhanin nyo course yung nasa SOL at least 2yrs course para after u finish the course pwede ka mag apply ng Post Study Visa which is a 2yrs work visa within that timeframe siguro naman magkaka experience na and pass the ielts etc. Tapos after 2yrs apply na ng permanent visa like State Sponsorship Visa or Independent Visa.

    Yan po pathway ng student visa na gusto mag PR after studies, sana po maliwanagan napo lahat.

    May 5 years experience po aq sa IT related sa software, balak ko po kumuha ng 1 year IT diploma course at the same time sana makahanap ng company na mag sponsor skin sa oz while holding a student visa pag nasa oz nko.
    Ask q lang po kung posible ba na 'student visa convert to working visa' kahit na dpa tapos yung course kung may mag sponsor na employer na? May naka experience npo ba ng ganito?

    hi everyone, it's my first time to post in here though my looking for this site for the past few months na. sobrang tense lang kasi ako. i've tried to apply in USQ for semester 1 2013 intake however after 2, almost 3 months of waiting they decline my application after an interview :'( so i have to apply to another unis that has sem 2 intake. first ielts take ko, my grade is: OBS of 6.5 and lowest ko writing which is 6, i have tried to retake my ielts to get a higher grade, sa march 27 pa labas so still don't know if that take 2 exam could help. so far what i have is:

    southbank - tafe sya for diploma of nursing, i choose this kasi pasok ielts ko. may offer na and mageexpire na sa april 30, my prob is i need 2.3M as a proof of fund as per idp advised. (pending)

    university of sunshine coast - conditional offer given because they required an ielts obs score of 7 and not lower than 6.5. i still don't know what would be my grade in ielts on this second time around. (pending)

    queensland university of technology - i really want to study in here! still there is no offer, even conditional offer. its been almost 1 1/2 month. feeling ko tuloy parang USQ lang. :'(

    curtin university - no reply yet.

    idp advised me i can choose elicos in case,, another problem arises, puro 10 week english program lang nakikita ko and that should start by first week of may. eh ung tuition ko malamang may pa dumating.

    QUESTION: guys, can you suggest some universities na mabilis magrply? ung may intake this sem 2, na may 5week english program lang? kasi if ever ndi ko pa din makuha ung grade na need kosa ielts, 5 week lang tlaga abot ng time ko.

    @dadedidodu17 ang reason nila sa sa letter nila sa idp is ndi daw ako genuine. nagulat din nga idp eh. sabi naman nung counselor ko nung ngtanong tanong daw sila, d daw talga nag-aaccept ng international nursing student and usq. sabi nung counselor ko un ah. ung pamangkin din ng family friend namin same nangyari sa min sa usq.

    @tenseako grabe na yung 2 months na walang balita sa application... malamang pag ikaw mismo nag follow up bigay agad ng offer yan.. ganyan nangyari sakin eh i waited for more than a month bago ako nag decide na mag follow up directly kasi under IDP din ako.. then after 3-4 days nagbigay na sila ng offer letter. goodluck! :)

    @tenseako under IDP ka right? try to access the website provided ng IDP.. yung parang student online account nandun yung progress ng application mo, makikita mo din dun kung na acknowledge n application mo ng universities na inapplyan mo...

    April 15 2013 - letter offer from QUT
    June 3, 2013 - paid tuition fee
    June 10, 2013 - accepted offer
    June 20, 2013 - eCOE given
    June 26, 2013 - visa lodge via IDP
    June 27, 2013 - visa lodgment confirmation text received
    July 2, 2013 - informed for medical
    July 3, 2013 - medicals done
    July 5, 2013 - medicals uploaded. NHSI informed me that there's no need for additional tests.
    July 6, 2013 - medical results referred to MOC, informed that decision will be made after approximately 8 weeks from the date of referral.
    August 13, 2013 - embassy informed me that my medical clearance was issued and will strive to finalize my visa as soon as possible.
    Augsut 16, 2013 - VISA GRANT! :D
    August 17, 2013 - received a text message from DIAC that my passport/documents was dispatched to the courier for delivery

    @dadedidodu17 uu nga eeeh i think we had an advantage if we will take BSN, that goog no need na proof of funds:) im still looking for a uni, i think some uni req proof of funds some dont san state ba ung uni na inaplyan mu?:)
