@davos_uno - Receipt date ko is Dec 11, 2012. Hard copy pinadala sa agent ko yung result. Pero after 3 days pa bago sakin naemail ng agent ko. Ikaw ba mismo ng apply? Kung ikaw mismo mail sayo yung result in hard copy. Wait mo lang konti bro, kc kung nasa Phils ka, malamang mas matagal konti padala. Nasa Australia kc agent ko

Mga Sir, can someone confirm if submitting my job description on a plain A4 paper with my boss signature will do? Or need pa po dapat statutory dec format? I know sa ACS medyo mahigpit sila dito pero dont know po sa EA e.

@davos_uno - Kung maaga mo ng nsubmit yung additional docs mo, hindi cguro maapektuhan yung timeline na 19 weeks. I think yung delay is cause ng delivery to Phils.. Pwede kang maginquire sa EA since lampas na sa 19 weeks. Hintay hintay nalng konti bro, malapit na yan..

@boneman - Bro if kaya mo kumuha ng Certificate of Employment with your job description using official company paper/format (with company logo and other info) much better. Wag kana mg take ng risk. Im not sure kc sa EA. Pero kung no choice kana tlga, you can try and let us know kung pasok cya.. para may idea yung mga mgpapaassess p lang sa EA. hehe

Hi @tontoronsky and to others who were successfully assessed by EA....quick question lang po...When your application was given a C.O. officer by EA did they send you an Email?...Mine kasi was received by EA last Dec 17 (according sa receipt nila), and when I emailed the status from EA, ang sabi nila was that those submissions from Dec 18 were given a C.O. na. Mga ilang days kaya bago malaman if your application was successful? Will they inform you thru post or email? Salamat..:-)

@RichardQ - Im not really sure bro. Because my agent send my application to EA on my behalf. The next thing I know is dumating na ang positive assessment from EA. Receipt date sakin is 11/12/2013, then result date is 22/04/2013. I was advised by my agent na dumating na ang result ko nung 25/04/2013. Sorry if I can't answer your 1st question. On your next question, timeline nila is 19 weeks. So expect mo na ang result mo (hard copy) anytime. Konting hintay nalng bro.. hehe

@tontoronsky salamat sa reply bro, basic coe lang kasi pwede ibigay ng mga company ko dati kaya most likely gagawa na lang ako ng job description then i will let my previous boss to sign for me, ang doubt ko lang e kung pwede ba sa plain paper lang yun then ipa-ctc ko na lang or i need to do it using statutory format

Positive Assessment from EA dated April 26,2013! Thank you Lord..kala ko magkakaproblem sa turn around time dahil nalate ung dating ng IELTS ko sa EA buti naprocess paren xa according sa receipt date (Dec 14)..ung mga kasabayan ko nagpass, for sure magkakasunod na yan..

tama.. im assuming yung pipirma na ex-boss mo is still with the company..
para pag nag verify sila... still valid na sya nga ang pumirma nun.

Got an email from EA last Tues asking for detailed job description kasi wala ako sa 2 previous companies ko. Company A have already given papa CTC ko na kaso company B (still deadma mode yung senior manager ko) . I asked my colleague dati ko din Group lead kaso walang company letterhead pero willing sya bigay contacts and ID copy nya. So tinanong ko na kasi assessing officer ko if okay na yun ang sagot nya ito " I am sure your supervisor should be able to give an official reference letter. I leave it to him as to how he can prove that ....". Eh ayaw mag bigay din ng HR ng papel with letterhead only daw doon sa senior manager ko na ka hibernate mode.. Need help and inputs po.. Ano pwede legal docs to prove na totoo yung docs. Salamat ! Naka hold muna yung assessment ko , waiting for these 2 docs. Thanks po sa reply, anyone with the same experience pls share din po paano ginawa

@rylynn - kung nagwo-work pa rin ung Team Lead mo sa company B, i think okay nmn yun kahit wala sa letterhead..
- state nyo sa reference letter na hindi nagbibigay yung company ng detailed job desc
- signture/contact info
- attach company ID nung team lead, at passport para mas matibay ang ebidensya.

pag nag verify ang EA
- they can verify na nagwo-work nga dun si team lead

Hi @lock_code2004, I would like to ask you few questions: San po ba kayo when you applied sa EA, are you in PH or overseas? Did EA sent you an email notifying that they have started reviewing you application? If your application is successful, will they send a notification thru email or talagang thru post lang?

-I was working outside of PH when i applied..
- nope, but during that time (im not sure about the process now), they will never notify you if they have started reviewing your case, you can send an email, and you will receive an auto reply stating the dates of the application they are currently working on.. (you will know your application date based on their official receipt)
- fortunately for me, the CO contacted me asking for some docs.. so when they completed the assessment, the CO emailed me. But their result is always thru post only..

@lock_code2004 thanks po. satutory dec ko na lang po , actually may email ako from HR ayaw nila magbigay unless yung direct manager lang dapat..
nag-email kasi ako asking for company letterhead na papel para pirmahan ng senior colleague / group lead namin .. kaso nagreply HR nde daw pwede dapat manager nagbibigay ng reference letter .. so nag reply ulit ako na kinontak ko pareho senior manager and yung GL , kasi sa guidelines na ang hingi lang is yung job scope.. in short , nde kasi nagreply hr at senior manager ko pa din .. pero yung GL bigyan ako pero wala nga sa letterhead..

Pwede ko ba gamitin na evidence sa stat declaration ko noong humihingi ako ayaw nila pumayag sa papel with letter head at sr manager lang pwede magbigay , eh d naman nagrereply boss ko

kaya sa group lead ako kumuha .bigay naman nya contacts and company id nya.

- but kung ako yan, yes i will make it as a proof.. wala nmn masama gamitin yun..
totoo nmn na ayaw talga nila magbigay ng job desc na may letterhead from HR..

@JClem ang hirap ma'am mag hanap ng precedent case for an industrial engineer that's why I'm directing my query to you.

I'm an IE graduate from UP Diliman, with almost 4 years corporate experience that are not directly IE (analytics, project development, research, marketing, etc.) I'd like to take the first step which is Engineering Assessment, may I kindly ask for your advice and guidance in how you went about your CDR?

Most of my colleagues in UP Engg opted for an easier visa (457, i think), but since 4 years ago na ako graduate, I need to gun for visa 189 now. So wala akong mapagtanungan na immediate friends. Those some adviced me that I will have to go back to my college projects and compose something technical.

if i may answer, medyo busy na si @JClem.. IE rin ako.. EA will do the assessment based on your COE+Job Description versus the ANZSCO definition for IE..

1. the best start is to get the ANZSCO code for IE and read the job description..
2. then look at you work experience, and relate it to the ANZSCO job desc
3. work on your CDR, (refer to EA migration booklet), and pick career episodes that will highlight your IE work..

IE has several job specialization. my work exp is very broad from supply chain/planning, systems engr, Process/methods, IT analyst, to manufacturing/production.. so i relate my CDR/career episodes to the ANZCO code...

let me know if you have clarification/s..

Hi @lock_code2004, salamat sa yong mga sagot. Right now I am still waiting for a notification from EA. Based on their Status email, they are reviewing applications they received last Jan 2 2013 na, my application was received by EA last Dec 17 2012 pa and wala pa rin akong info on my application...kinakabahan talaga ako...hopefully ok yung result..:-) By the way, is it ok to call them to ask on the status of my application?
