good day! may mga questions lang ako for tourist visa
1. gaano katagal ang processing if I apply for a 3 months tourist visa?
2. kung Feb 2014 pa yung departure tapos plan mag stay dun hanggang May 2014, pwede na ba mag apply ng tourist visa sa December 2013? paano ba yung counting ng 3 months tourist visa. from visa grant ba yung counting or from arrival in Australia. halimbawa apply ng December tapos ma grant ng December, meaning ba na hanggang March 2014 lang validity ng visa eventhough Feb na dumating ng Australia?

Patulong naman po. Plan ko kc papuntahin dito ung nanay ko (tourist visa). Ang problema ko lang, ung spelling ng mothers name sa birth certificate ko eh iba sa gamit nya ngaun (parehas na first name at surname iba) Magkkaproblema po kaya kami nito?

Hirap kc nung unang panahon, iba iba ang spelling.. like ung RUZ naging ROSE. hayyy pano po kaya yun?

@jane - kung wrong spelling lang, ipa-change nyo muna ang birth certificate nya..
madali na lang naman po yan, unlike before na may court hearing pa..

mali din ang spelling ng middle name ko dati sa BC, at pinapalitan naman sa local registry office kung saan sya pinanganak, kailangan mo alng magbayad (5-10k yata)..

pag napalitan na, magkakaron ng Corretion Notes or parang remarks sa gilid ng BC na "eto na ang tamang spelling"... then pwede nyo na i-apply ng passport..

please check with them kung anung tamang process..

ah madali na lang po pala ngaun. pero ang mahal po ha. sabi ko nga pa late registration na lang sya eh.

pero cge po ipapacheck ko na lang sa local registry kung anong mas madali.

Hi, ask ko lang to those who have had invited their parents for a visit, ano kaya ang magandang kunin na travel insurance pra sa kanila?..they were just granted a 1 year visa, and will be here early next month. Any inputs, and how much would it cost if their intended stay is almost a year?..salamat!

Hi Akino! Ano ano mga requirements for 1 year tourist visa para sa parents? Kailangan ba talaga ng bond? Thanks in advance

@ckythy08 hi! I think you cannot purchase ticket without a visa. Although in my case, I bought ticket through travel agency and they asked for the visa. Anyway, just inquire from airline to be sure.

If you would go through the normal 676 route ( not sponsored just an invitation ) no bonds ...

we just did this

this is what we did

then

have this prepared

1. bank statements ( including credit card ) or any financial statements
2. payslip
3. certificate of employment
4. Passport
5. 2 passport size pictures

Kung meron kang relative sa australia
1.Have them fill up a statutory declaration at the same time a invitation
2. bank statement or payslip
3. Certified Photocopy of passport or drivers license
4. Certified Photocopy of registration or billing statement ( proof of residence )
5. NSO birth certificate of marriage contract of you and the relative ( proof of relationship )

Kung 75 yrs old or staying for a year na yung mag apply you need to have a Health insurance ( let me know if you need one ) and a medical ( anyway this will be sent to you )

Fill up the 1419.pdf form then attached everything then lodge it on

thanks JC. Actually andito ako sa Australia tas balak kong kuhanin ung nanay ko for a 1 year visa. Wala sya work so wala sya payslip, COE or bank statement na malaki ang laman. Pano kaya un? Pag ganito ang case pwede bang normal na tourist visa lang or dapat family sponsored na sya? thanks po ulit

Since na tumambay ako sa mga Phil-Australia forum I never heard anyone na denied na tourist na visa for parents .. maski sa FB group at maski mga kakilala dito

like what I have always said you will never know it until you try ... pwede mo naman siguro ipag open ng account parents mo ... tapos depositohan mo ng mga 40k-80K PHP ... then the rest ikaw na ang magpakita ng Financial status mo na kaya mong suportahan ang parents mo

this route is better than 15k$ bond for sponsored parent if my memory serves me right

Wait for the letter , same Medicals sa nationwide ... it will cost 1500Php for basic and 2000Php with Xray .. Yung Health Insurance pwede mo lang i-scan at i-email ...

hotshot nun na grant visit visa nyo. may deadline ba na dapat umalis na in certain period. or kapag 3 months visa ang start ng 3 months ay simula ng na grant? kasi if mag apply ako ngayong ng TV pero alis ko ay sa Oct.
1 year multiple entry ang binigay sa amin nun. 1 year starting from date of visa grant. wala naman nakalagay sa conditions kung kelan ka dapat dumating ng oz pero kung october mo pa balak pumunta, wag ka muna mag-apply. i know someone na nagapply ng visa too early tapos di muna sya inentertain at pinabalik na lang pag malapit na ang planned vacation nila.

Guys need your POV, does this means that I can apply student visa while I am in Australia and holding visitors visa?

If I apply for a student visa or a student guardian visa while I am in Australia, do I need to hold a current visa?
If you are applying for a student visa in Australia you must either:
• currently hold a qualifying visa or
• have previously held a certain visa and lodge an application within 28 days from the date that visa ends.
What is a qualifying visa?

my husband and i are planning to get TV this october but as early as now we're preparing our needed documents..hopefully we can lodge our application na this march para less worry..i know its too early to lodge the application pa..anyone na naka try mag apply at least 6months prior to departure date?..also, i would like to ask sana kasi kasama yung 3yo son ko, and ako ang nag prepare ng 1419form nya..question is, do we still need to prepare for 956A form since hindi sya yung nag answer ng form nya?
