As i mentioned sa una kong post, mas mabilis talaga makakipon kung 2 nagwo-work. Be prepared nga lng to pay for the childcare. May maitatabi ka pa rin namin kahit nag-child care anak mo, kasi may rebate p rin un centrelink. Un nga lng cyempre additional expense ang childcare.

Depende rin kasi sayo un, sa priority mo. Ako halos lahat ng nakilala kong may edad n dito, lahat sila sinasabi sakin, since nakakaraos naman kami at kung may naitatabi pa akong konti, eh wag mag-rush magkaroon ng work. Alagaan muna etong bunso namin since alagain pa naman talaga. Sandali lng naman daw bata ang mga iyan,,,i-enjoy muna sila,ayun un mga ganung payo..hehe. Kaya eto ako ngaun, di ko na masyadong pine-pressure ang sarili kong magkaroon ng work at kina-career ang pagiging nanay..hehe

Nope. Sa immunisation centre lang then sila na bahala. After ilang weeks, may dadating sayong letter from medicare summarising your child's immunisation records (data copied from their baby book) and next immunisation date nya if meron pa kulang.

By the way, Child care rebate is different from child care benefit. Income-tested ang child care benefit, ung child care rebate hindi. Child care rebate can be up to 50% of your out-of-pocket expense as long as 7500 per annum ung total claim. Not sure lang about the details ng child care benefit.
Keep in mind lang na every time your circumstance changes, need iupdate si centrelink agad especially if from walang work, magkakaroon na ng work. Kase pag ganon, possible na kelangang ibalik sa government ung money na naclaim through the income-tested benefits.

$78k per annum combined income ang max threshold ni centrelink (correct me if im wrong na lng). When i reported them na magwo-work na si husband, they said no effect daw. Full benefits pa din kami kasi below threshold. This will definitely change pag 2 na nagwo-work. But yeah, you still need to inform them.

By the way, add ko lang, we also get the school kids bonus last month kasi we are entitled dun sa family tax benefit. So ganun din tong school kids bonus, pag above threshold na income nyo, d na din entitled anak mo.

Tapos ung sa school din pala, i forgot to mention. Wag muna kayo pay ng school fees pagdating (except uniform, binabayaran talaga cya). Wait nyo ang centrelink number nyo tapos tsaka nyo i-apply ang school card, form M (new migrants).
