@pmzinoz, madali lang conversion ng license, i've done mine last year..
yung exam lang ang kailangan mo ipasa, and that was too easy if you are already driving before, it's more on common sense. yung medyo kailangan mo lang reviewhin is yung mga road signs dito, particularly on no parking , those yellow, markings, zigzag yellow, double zigzag yellow, bus lanes, bus lane timing, stopping near the bus lanes and intersections, right of way policy if you are on intersection...just read their newest edition of driving theory and for sure madali lang yan...may kunting time pressure, and siyempre minimal dapat ang mali, 50 items lahat.

and my advice is that bring your old passport (if you have) when converting your license

Nope, your LTO license is already not valid... Better have that renewed; I believe kailangan mo ulit mag exam nito sa Pinas as your license is already dormant (more than 2 yrs expired)

Philippine immigration needs the CFO sticker in your passport; without this, hindi ka makakalabas sa Pinas. And yeah, the visa grant notice.

Sa Australia immigration naman, wala sila kailangan as they have capability to check online your visa status. They won't be needing your visa grant notice na.

Hi po sa lahat. Na buhay po ulit ang pangarap ko na mag migrate sa AU dahil sa paghihigpit ng SG. Nagplaplano n po akong mag pa assess ng skills ko.
Tanong ko lng po,

1. Sa work experience documents, ung mga cert of emp ko po eh walang description of duties performed eh. Ok lng ba un? O kelangan kong mag secure ng panibagong COE?

2. Pag may dependent ka sa VISA application mo, kelangan po ba din ng skill assessment nila?

3. Kelangan din po ba ng timing sa pag.aaply ng assessment/visa? Halimbawa mas maganda sa 1st quarter ng taon or 2nd, etc.

2) do you need points from your partner to satisfy the 60points requirement?
3) need dito yung sagot mo sa no.1..however, in most cases wala namang date preference, the sooner the better

Yes, you need to obtain employment certificates which stated your job responsibilities (hindi pede yung common employment cert we normally got once we resigned). Its more on recommendation letter. You dont need the HR manager to sign that cert, kahit yung direct head mo pedeng mag sign. 2. No need yung skill assessment sa dependent mo (but if u want another 5 points, your wife may be also assessed, pero its not worth the time kasi 5 points lang madadagdag eh. 3. Timing? Its God's timing irrespective of the month, quarter or anything. God Bless sa apply mo.

1. Ako po sana ang primary applicant at sa ACS ako tapos ung dependent ko sana sa VETASSESS.
2. Kelangan ko ng points nea in dpende po sa IELTS. Natanong ko lng po kung kelangan ng assessment ung dependent ko kasi baka required talaga, hindi ako sure eh.
3. Refer to num1 po. Ok po, sana nga sooner. Sa pagkakaintindi ko may July 1 na tinatawag wherein binabago ung point system nila?

Naintindihan ko na po. So di pala pwede ung usual COE at di rin required na mag pa assess ang dependent unless kelangan ko ng points nea. Amen to that its God's timing talaga. God bless din po.

1)sa experience ko sa ACS, di nila ina-assess yung mga experience ko na walang detailed desc COE..if ever mahirap sayo magsecure ng ganito, you may opt for stat dec or affidavit kung sa pinas mo ipagawa.
2)yes, if you need 5 more points, kelangan magpa assess at mag IELTS si dependent, however paghindi mo need ng 5points, di na siya requirement..yung cert lng for language reqmnt
3)as i have mentioned make it sooner para hndi maabutan ng panibagong changes

Hello SG People...

Question po....and hindi ko alam if I'm posting on the right thread at malamang may nakapagtanong na din nito..so please be kind to me

Kaka-approve lang ng skills assessment ko last July. So next step ay State Sponsorship and my IELTS exam will be on 7 September (lapit na!hehe).

Here are my questions:

1.) Generally speaking (for a normal English-Speaking Filipino like me), is IELTS really a difficult exam? Due to my busy schedule, I am struggling to find time to start reviewing (but I will, soon).

2.) I have a history of Tuberculosis (8years ago) pero na cure na rin 8 years ago, but I still fear for the result of the Medical Exam. Mahigpit ba sila dito? Anong classing checking ang ginagawa nila? Physical Exam ba? as in yung naghuhubad?hehehe

3.) Tungkol naman dun sa Assets Declaration...For those who have reached that point at naapprove na, do they always require this? AUD45K is a huge amount and I still don't know how to come up with that amount

Sana ma approve ang State Sponsorship ko at sana makapasa rin sa IELTS..really really praying hard...

1. Well, mahirap ang IELTS pag di ka prepared. Makes sure familiar ka sa structure ng 4 tests which make up IELTS.

Matanong kita, why State Sponsorship ang target mo? If you have enough points, you can opt for VISA 189 which does not need State Sponsorship.

@Harddrive you can check yung nominated occupation mo if nasa Schedule 1(sol) or Schedule 2 (csol). If nasa csol you will definitely need a SS like what your agent suggests.

Hi to all who may have a similar experience,

My EA assessment date have come and gone... (receipt date of June 04). Yesterday, MSA-Status was June 03. Then today, MSA status say they are assessing CDR applications recieved on June 07. Does this mean that they are assessing or are already finished with my assessment?

EA never sent me an email about my assessment. My other question is, should I just wait for my results to arrive in the mail? or should I email them and ask regarding the results?

You have no choice but to wait... kasi if you apply for an EOI, kailangan mo rin yung results diba?

I would say tapos na and konting hintay nalang, you can try calling if you want. Or email, no harm to try either.
