ACS or DIAC - Are they going to call your employer?

Hi guys,
Bago lang po ako dito. Tanong ko lang po, tatawag ba yung ACS sa nakalagay sa employer reference nyo? Nakakabahan kasi ako eh, baka malaman ng employer ko

@jeffrey_craigslist - whatever you put in your application they have all the rights to verify it, may it be by calling your employer, or sending them an email... not unless you have mentioned to them in your statutory declaration (if you created one) that you don't want your current employer to know about your plans in moving to Australia as it might jeopardize your current job. hope this helps.

ACS mukhang hindi tumawag sa previous employers ko, pero I think it depends on the requirements you've sent, case to case basis din.

Sa mga nabasa ko sa mga forums tumatawag talaga ang DIAC to verify

They may or they may not call you. Don't worry as far as I know, both ACS and DIAC verify the authenticity of your COE with high confidentiality and discretion.

@jeffrey_craigslist - when I asked one of the companies I worked for, for a detailed job description, sabi saken ng HR na familiar na sila sa pattern/format nung COE kase marami daw employees and nanghihingi sa kanila ng detailed COE for AU den daw. So nagusisa ako.. I asked them kung mei tumatawag ba talaga and they said YES. Then I asked kung sino hinahanap, sabi saken nung HR, karaniwan daw ung HR Manager daw ang hinahanap, but then wala sha idea kung ano mga tinatanong sa HR Manager. Hope this helps.

In my case, wala tinawagan kahit isa si ACS. Not sure yet with DIAC kasi wala pa ako sa stage na yun. Ang meron lang tinawagan yun university ko kung saan ako nag-college. Sa employment, wala tinawagan sa mga companies ko and managers na nagbigay ng reference. Even though I gave them contact details.

normally they don't BUT they could. So di pwedeng imbento imbento lang ang ilagay sa mga documents, baka machambahan ka ng "rule of eventuality" ahahaha

Hi, to all!

Yan din ang reason namin ni hubby kung bakit we stat dec. kasi ayaw namin malaman nila un plan namin.Question po about sa pprevious company nyo, ok lang ba na stat. dec din un gamitin namin kasi ayaw yata nila magbigay ng detaied coe eh. Reason nila eh di daw nila makita un data namin, eh nakakuha nga ako ng employment certificate noon nakaraan taon, stated don un duration ng work ko though wala lang nakalagay na job scope but nakaindicate naman un position ko at maeron akong appoinment letter na naksulat din don yun mga job resposibility ko at specific job scopeko.Un migration agent ko kasi lagi sinasabi na risky daw un kasi pwede accept nila at tawagan un mga employer ko or pwede din nila e-reject un stat dec.ano sa palagay nyo guys?gusto ko lang maging feeling ok. sa mga makukuha kung paliwanag nyo sakali may sumagot nito, worried lang ako....thank you in advance!

Well kung siguro nagsama ka din ng mga supporting documents such as payslips and ITRs medyo mawawala na siguro yung doubt nila na legit yung employment records mo kaya there is no need for them to have a background check sa case mo. maganda na rin kung magkaroon ka na rin ng Stat. dec. para kung kabado ka na baka malaman ng current employer mo that you are applying for a visa abroad.

alibi ko po kasi sa HR ng nagrequest ako COE is for exam purposes at requirement po ng training at exam.

problem ko po nilagyan po ng "For Certified Information Security Professional Exam” yong COE ng current employeer, tatangapin po ba to ng ACS? tatawag po ba kaya sila sa current employer for background check?

kinakabahan po kasi ako ayo ko po kasi malaman ng current employer ko dito sa Singapore kong ano yong pinaplano ko baka ma jeopardize yong current job ko dito.
