ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT TRADES WORKER (SPECIAL CLASS) [342315]
    Job description:
Installs, modifies, maintains and repairs complex electronic instruments and control systems which involve a combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles. Registration or licensing may be required.

so eto yung laman ng assessment ko...

Thank you for applying to have your skills assessed under the TRA Migration skills Assessment program. Your application has been assessed as UNSUCCESFUL for the occupation of ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT TRADES WORKER (SPECIAL CLASS) [342315].

Based on the evidence you provided, your qualification /apprenticeship was assessed as not being comparable to the relevant AQF qualification for your nominated occupation. A comparable qualification is required for a successful skills assessment and this must be demonstrated before your assessment could be successful.

The two qualifications you have provided, a Diploma of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, have been assessed as not comparable to the relevant AQF qualification for your nominated occupation. The content of both of the qualifications is not directly relevant and they do not contain sufficient electrotechnology and circuitry based subjects when compared to the relevant AQF qualification for an Electronic Instrument Trades Worker (Special Class)- a certificate III in instrumentation and control.

As a consequence, TRA has been unable to confirm that your claims of employment have met the eligibility requirements for your nominated occupation as specified in section 2.8 of the TRA Migration Skills Assessment Applicant Guidelines.

You may Seek one review of this assessment outcome.

by the way, eto yung ibang info sa akin...
course: Diploma in Mechanical Technology/BS in Engineering Technology major in Mechanical
Work History: 1. Semicon A.--Equipment Technician, sustain, repair, calibrate, assemble/disassemble of machine parts, troubleshoot problem PM of equipments..
    2. Semicon B--Associate Engineer, sustain, repair, calibrate, assemble/disassemble of machine parts, troubleshoot problem PM of equipments..
    3. Waferfab C- Associate Engineer- sustain, repair, calibrate, assemble/disassemble of machine parts, troubleshoot problem and PM of equipments..
    4. Waferfab D current company --Process and Equipment TEchnologist-sustain, repair, calibrate, assemble/disassemble of machine parts, troubleshoot problem and PM of equipments, monitors SPC and reacts accordingly, do experiments and extensive test to address issues, • Execute process & tool qualification procedures ..and more

it's an expensive mistake...I assume na since na-mention ang mechanical, I thought it was related, and since this occupation code was at SOL, I may be eligible for 189.
anyway, I need to move on...my age will deduct 5more points this October, hopefully I can make it by that timeframe:

    Here are my option:
    1. I will nominate Mechanical Engineering Technician 312512(Job description:
Conducts tests of mechanical systems, collects and analyses data, and assembles and installs mechanical assemblies in support of mechanical engineers and engineering technologists.) I'm sure pasok na to sa qualification ko, but do you think swak parin sya sa current job ko?
I had research na din regarding which state/s were my option/s for state sponsorship, SA, NT and Tasmania...SA would be my 1st option

    2. I will still nominate ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT TRADES WORKER (SPECIAL CLASS) [342315].
but what will I do so that my qualification will fit this job code? is there any?

    3. Any other occupation that I can nominate with my qualification and job experience?

Anybody who wants to help me to review my COE's and TOR's? pls pm me your email add and I will send to you my credentials...

    thanks in advance...

ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT TRADES WORKER (SPECIAL CLASS) [342315] din aaplayan ko pero I do have an instrumentation and control technology diploma. Hindi po ako expert pero I've been reading a lot about the TRA process and as I see it, if you applied before path D of TRA assessment was removed (Assessment based on Experience without relevant qualification) malamang pasado po kayo but that was removed back in 2010 I believe. But now they are requiring you to have 3 years related experience AFTER you get your qualifications AND that your qualification is relevant to your nominated occupation.

I understood that you also provided them the syllabus or course outline of the courses that you took, tama po ba? I'm not entirely sure po pero when TRA stated on your application that the courses should have more electrotechnology and electrical courses I think they were referring more on subjects like pneumatics and hydraulics, electrical machines, control systems, SCADA, Programmable controllers, measurement and sensor technology etc.. If you have those on your course syllabus then baka po makonsider nila.

I have not gone through the assessment myself but thanks to the information you've provided medyo po nagkaconfidence na ko sa application ko. I was still hesitant about my nominated occupation until I saw your post.

yup tama ka po @Adamantium, wala ko nyan mga subjects na yan sa aking TOR, both on my courses,, it was purely mechanical, even though I had depth knowledge with this subject matters that was gained thru experience (13yrs sa semicon heheh) pero I can't attest to them na magaling nga ako jan without proper documentation like qualifications and/or RPL. it's just so frustrating na late ko na narealize na kailangan pala nila yung mga yan. sa naresearch ko kasi di masyado detailed...""combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles"" so i thought pasok ako kasi anjan yung mechanical, pero I was wrong.

Anyway, as suggested by sir @lock_code2004, I had tried to appeal to let them review my papers under 312512 mechanical engineering technician, without paying anything...hopefully they will consider..and at the same time nakahanda na yung papers ko and application for resubmitting another TRA assesmet for 312512, kulang na lang bayad at CTC..

you're lucky enough, sakto yung course mo, at the same time nasa SOL1 yung occupation na yan...pasa ka na rin po!!

lock_code2004 sir good day po, nag email po ako sa TRA heto po un reply sken:

Thank you for your enquiry to Trades Recognition Australia (TRA).

TRA is a skills assessment service provider which specialises in assessments in trade occupations for the purpose of migration. There are a range of Skills Assessments.

Please check with the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) www.immi.gov.au about the requirements for the visa being applied for, to ensure you have identified the appropriate visa pathway and that a skills assessment is applied for under the correct skills assessment program.

For your information, if you are applying for a permanent migration visa, then as a Print Finisher [392111] from the Philippines you will need to apply for a skills assessment under the TRA Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) Program. Details regarding this Program can be found in the TRA Migration Skills Assessment Applicant Guidelines on our website.

To be eligible for a successful Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) outcome you are required to provide evidence of:

1.a qualification comparable to the relevant qualification in Australia for the occupation and
2.employment at the required skill level for Australian industry standards.

Your application is likely to be unsuccessful if you do not have a relevant qualification for your nominated occupation.

You may consider undertaking a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process with an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Details about which RTOs can deliver and assess your skills and evidence against the relevant Australian qualification for your occupation are listed on the Australian Government’s website: https://training.gov.au/Training/Details/MEM30205. You can contact one of the RTOs listed directly.

The MSA Applicant Guidelines state that where an AQF qualification has recently been obtained through RPL, an applicant must also provide evidence of employment:

including a minimum of three years full-time (or equivalent) paid employment under the direct supervision of a tradesperson/employer (an informal training period) before an additional three years full-time (or equivalent) paid employment has been completed at the required skill level for the occupation. Please refer to section 2.8.4 (page 25)

Please be advised that you will also be required to adhere to the employment requirements outlined in the TRA MSA Applicant Guidelines once you have a comparable qualification. More detailed information about evidence requirements for employment is in Section 2.8 of the MSA Applicant Guidelines.

We trust that this information is of assistance.

All replies to this email must be forwarded to [email protected] if you require the matter to be actioned.

Sir heto po email sken ng Australian Skill Assessments:

In most cases TRA will require an AQF III qualification unless you can prove formal, structured learning over several years in your trade through a documented apprenticeship system. Some applicants choose to lodge straight to TRA and we end up assessing them for an AQF once they are unsuccessful – this is quite common. You could try it but please be aware that TRA charge AU$1,000 for their assessment service so this will be AU$2,000 to apply twice if you need to.

    Sir pa help po ulit.

    Thank you & God bless.....

    @ynnozki hi po
ask ko lang magkakaiba ba ung jb description nyo?
hindi ba related ung work nyo sa job description sa anszco?
    \

@henareh, my job descriptions which were almost the same for the 4 companies i've worked for were fitted to my first nominated occupation 342315, kaya lang yung qualification ko ang sumabit...bago kasi nila iasses ang job exp, inaasses muna nila yung educational quailifications.

    Hello Everyone! Question lang po..

I submitted my requirements sa TRA via DHL and according sa online tracking system nila eh nadeliver na daw yung documents nung Monday (September 9)..

Kaso po until now wala pa confirmation coming from TRA kung nareceive na nila ung docs ko eh.. normaly ba how long ung confirmation? and via email ba nila isesend un?

Paano po ba ma-check un? Saan po nakakakuha ng TRA Applicant File Number? Same lang ba un sa Customer Rerefence Number na nakalagay sa Payment Receipt?

Thanks po sa mga sa mga sasagot :)

@ako_na_ang_bida usually around 10 days from the day they received your docs mo matatangap yung confirmation nila, it may take longer like maybe 13 days...via snail mail so check your mailbox.. yung TRA applicant file number, included yan sa confirmation letter na matatanggap mo.

    @henareh
di kita masasagot as of now, but wait for my assesment result by end of this month, di ko na kasi isinama yung 2nd course ko which has subject descriptions. yung 3yr Diploma course ko lang ang sinabmit ko, but with supporting cert from school na wala talaga maproduce ng copy of subject descriptions since wala na yung course ko dati, pinag-isa na yung mech'l, elect'l at electronics (electromechanical 4yr BS). so ang sinambit ko lang eh TOR, Diploma, Certs, mga certificates galing of achievements sa school, OJT cert.
