TRA Assessment Form

I need some help please... those who already filled up the form for TRA assessment. In my case, I have 8 years of experience working as communication technician in Saudi Arabia and I saw on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL1-2) the Telecom Technician 342414 for GSM (Sponsored) and I want to apply for assessment and the assessing authority for this occupation is TRA (trades Recognition Australia).

Now I have a problem in filling-up the form for my education as the required fields are for Vocational Course and/or apprenticeship but I graduated in engineering degree. Please... for those who already had completed this form, Do I need to put my Engineering Education details instead?

    @delreno.. sir kamusta na po yung question nyo, ok n po ba? Nag apply na po ba kayo ng assessment s TRA? Nag sisimula pa lang po ako and I found out na magiging ganyan din ang problem nung nakita ko yung form. Telecom Technician din ang aaplyan ko and a graduate of engineering as well. Sa lahat po ng may idea pa share naman.. Thank you po in advance!

    Reply to @bachuchay: hi po bachuchay as now halos kumpleto na docs ko at na tatakan na din ng lawyer ( certified true copies), fill up na din ako ng form ( yung part 4 - relevant vocational
    qualification details - lagay nyo dun yung engeneering degree, then part 5 - lagay nyo dun details ng ece license nyo). Next week submit n po ako s TRA (sana successful po outcome!!).

    ka start ko lang po kc.. kung hindi me magkakababy d me magkaroon ng interest mag migrate sa OZ..d po kc me PR dtos SG..magastos po mag settle d2 as family...as of now nag gather p ko ng ideas and required docs ko s pag aapply..medyo time pressured n nga po..kc habol ko n makapag lodge before i turn 33 s feb2013...kaya malaking tulong po tlg sakin ang forum n ito..thanx po sa lahat ng mga nagshare ng ideas..dami ko natutunan..d n po kc me kuha ng agent..Update ko po kayo s development ng apply ko, thanx and God bless po..

    @bachuchay and @razlem712 : ok lang po yan na hindi na kayo nag-agent lalo na po kung straighforward naman po ang cases nyo like aligned naman ang degrees nyo sa work experiences nyo. and not to mention, makakatipid din po kayo hehehe. yun nga lang po, kelangan nyo talaga basahin yung available na booklets sa DIAC and guides dun sa skills assessing body nyo to make sure na tama ang mga ginagawa nyo. and of course, pag meron kayong mga tanong pa, madami po makakatulong dito sa forum na to. goodluck! :)

    Reply to @bachuchay: hi po! eto po ung mga docs na pina certified true copy ko: transcript of records, diploma, prc certificate at id (updated), iecep cert., mga employment at training certificates, sa recto po ako nagpunta sa tapat ng prc (nabasa ko din lng dito. hehe) ung mismong abogado ang nag sign, kahit di mo dala yung original tatatakan nya (complete ung tatak, lic no., phone, address, validity etc.) makaka discount ka pa kung madami. Sa SG po kau, may nabasa din akong thread, tapos taga SG din sya nag ask kung san nag ctc jan, tapos po may sumagot, browse nyo na lng po, para jan k n mag pa ctc, try ko din i check yung thread then bigay ko n lng po sa inyo.. Ask nyo po si sir/mam. hotshot parang tg SG din po sya.. Goodluck n God Bless po!!

    Reply to @bachuchay: Hi po, gandang umaga.. pina finalize ko n sya, isubmit ko through dhl or fedex, by friday po.. sulat kamay .. sa employment statement, yup sarili ko lang, i details mo lng lhat ng duties at responsibilties, then check mo n din yung job description sa nominated occupation mo tapos i relate mo na lahat dun, gawin mo lang simple, accurate at straight to the point. May COE din ako na di naka indicate yung job description, suportahan mo na lng ng trainings/ seminars, pati company ID at mga appreciation letters, employment contracts..hehe todo na! para may reference sila..     @bachuchay @razlem - question lang po.. hindi po ba required ng TRA na dpat signed by HR at in company letterhead ang detailed job description nyo?

    nabasa ko kasi question ni @bachuchay and ang reply ni @razlem is "sariling gawa" lang..
    if not required.. then good.. just checking...
    kasi most of assessing authorities that i know of, has the same requirements/guidelines..

    @bachuchay @lock_code2004 - mam/sir.. correction lang po, yung na mention ko na "sariling gawa", yun yong PART 8 - Description of Work sa TRA form, yun po tinutukoy ko, censya po nalito lng...hehehe!! yung employment statement naman po, yup signed ng HR at may company letterhead.     Reply to @bachuchay: yes.. that is the requirement as part of the employment certificate for most assessing authorities..

    You should get it according to this hierarchy:
    1) Job description signed by HR -
    2) or by your manager, in company Letterhead mas maganda
    3) or any colleague na mas higher position sayo.

    Mahina kasi ang dating ng ikaw lang ang gumawa.. dahil kahit sino pwede gumawa ng magandang job description..

    @bachuchay - fortunately very supportive/cooperative naman ang company namin.. walang question about that.. nakakuha ako ng mga detailed job description..
    kahit ung mga previous company ko... nag email lang ako sa HR..
    sinuhulan ko lang ng chocolates para mapadali ang processing... ;)

    Sabihin mo na you are doing it for international accreditation...
    or may balak kang mag-aral...

    @bachuchay - everything is set... just waiting for Police clearance.. hopefully it will be finalized by next week..

    yes. some do require cert of employment to check kung may experience ka ba pra dun sa kukunin mo na course.. wala akong format eh..kasi official letter un akin galing sa company..

    @bachuchay - bkt hindi pwde sabihin sa kanila na kailangan mo un for skills assessment for migration? pwede mo nmn sbihin na sympre gusto mo rin nmn umunlad.. kung ang reason eh malalman nila na aalis ka... sbihin mo na hindi nmn agd agd.. mahaba pa ang overall application process..sbihin mo 1-2yrs...

    kung hindi pwede sbihin.. eh imbento ka na lang.. hehe.. pero ang pinaka malapit na reason is..
    skills assessment para magpamember ka kunyari sa international organization...

    @jamchai08, nabasa ko dun sa isang ginawa mong discussion, ang Payslip dapat 3 years pwede kang humingi directly sa HR nyo tapos printed sa letterhead ng company at signed ng HR, o kaya kung may net access kayo para sa payroll, or email ng HR nyo sa monthly payslip, you can also print all payslips sent to your email for 3 years period.
