    Learned this from a friend.
Consult with a trusted migration agent but don't their advice as the absolute truth. Do your homework and research...seek advice from other agents...that way, you are sure that the advice you are getting is the best possible approach to your situation :)

@Lokijr, Have u heard about ausfis? its a scam, i have a friend who pay an equivalent PhP60,000 thru his credit card by phone using the internet accout of this organization but until now this org. did not get back to him for any info. about status of his visa processing. What they had ask to my friend is just a CV only. He realized that he was victimized when he reads on the other int'l. forum about other people who had the same experience with him.

@heyits7me_mags sad naman nyan, sayang ang 60K grabe!

...yung isang nabasa ko naman sa forum after yrs of waiting for 175 visa, negative result from DIAC due to lack of requirements... non MARA agent daw, sayang ang binayad tsk tsk.

@mimaahk, sayang nga eh yung Php60k nya, ang siste tinawagan sya then this org. convinced him that there will be a bigger chance for my friend to get to Australia, hindi nga lang in details ang pakakwento sa amin nun husband ko.

Although meron sila office dito, yun agent is OZ based. Medyo nagf-followup pa sakin yun lagi eh un secretary dun. Biruin nyo in less than 1 year, I checked back their office, vacated na. Wala na yun office dun. Haha. Kung sakali saan ko sila hahabulin.

Kaya then on I decided na sariling sikap na lang.

And the way I see it kayo pa din naman talaga mag-aasikaso lahat. Be resourceful lang, kaya yan. Sipag, tiyaga and dasal pagsama-samahin and you will never go astray. :)

Not necessarily. Dapat din check mo maigi yun background if how long na sila registered. Nag-AWOL in short. So have to be really vigilant in choosing an agent. Search the forums for any feedback. Not only here, pero sa iba pang active forums.

Hi, I want to live and work in Australia so I did my research online at ngtry ako ng free assessment sa link na ito www.globalvisas.com. Then after couple of days, may tumawag sa akin taga globalvisas daw cya based in Cebu (John Paul Pacheco) Ayon sabi nya kailangan ko raw ay work permit daw. Magbabayad daw ako ng 100k for the processing tapos yun lang daw ang babayaran ko which is I doubt.

    Dear Miss Abne,

Re: Global Visa: International Employment Solutions

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing Global Visas.

Further to our recent conversation and from the information you provided to me, I can confirm that you are eligible for our International Employment Solutions, through this route we can provide you with our certificate of eligibility, and country specific employment and work visa information and requirements. We also offer specialist support and assistance to target and achieve your ideal job.

Immigration law and securing employment overseas has become increasingly difficult, it constitutes one of the fastest growing trends amongst highly qualified and skilled professionals. The laws governing overseas workers are also some of the fastest changing laws, as the World’s most sought after employment destinations are fielding more applications from the World’s workforce seeking to benefit from the opportunities available in those countries. As a result, case officers are often under pressure to achieve results, refusing cases or conducting in-depth investigations.

Global Visas are proud to have an excellent working relationship with these Officers; our company and our clients’ cases are always treated with respect and are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

Global mobility has accelerated rapidly over the last 20 years and this trend is set to continue. Consequently, Governments are in the unenviable position of relying on legislation which is not able to keep up with the international skills market and internet-driven globalization. At Global Visas we understand the pressure faced by Immigration systems, we understand their goals and we know how best to assist our clients. Our success rate is second to none.

We currently have ten offices world wide with plans to open several more in the coming years. We currently serve over 150 different nationalities as our network of offices span the Globe and with modern working practices we serve people daily wherever they are in the world.

The most important fact about Global Visas is that it’s likely we have an office in the country of your future employment and home. This makes us accessible to you to provide the support you require over the first few years in your new country. It also often means we have already worked with your new employer previously to secure visas for other overseas skilled workers.

As you might expect from the world’s leading experts in visas. We assist the world’s leading businesses, international organisations, celebrities and over 20,000 individuals to successfully secure their visas each year.

    What Our Service Provides:

    • We will advise on current work permit rules for your destination of choice and how that relates to the minimum job requirements
    • We will offer alternatives where your skills and experience do not meet the requirements of that country.
    • We will reformat your CV to an International standard and make amendments where necessary.

So check ko ulit website nila at napagalaman ko na meron silang MARA registration number (im not sure kung sa kanila ito) then I checked it with MARA. Ito yung details:

    TAE-SOO MIN
    Migration Agent Registration Number: 1068924
    Business NameGlobal Visas Australia
    Phone(02) 9280 4448
    Facsimile(02) 9280 4447
    Email Address: [email protected]
    Business Address Suite 202
    695-699 George Street
    SYDNEY NSW 2000
    AUSTRALIA
List other agents in this area
    Relation to Business Employee
    Postal Address 40 / 121 - 133 Pacific Hwy
    HORNSBY NSW 2077
    AUSTRALIA
    Status: Registered.

Then enimail ko yung Migration Agent (TAE-SOO MIN) and waiting for his/her reply. Yun nga lng bakit yung email address e naka hotmail lng diba dapat mas professional kung company domain ang ginamit nila??? Nakapagtataka at nakakapagdalawang isip.

Please sana po matulungan ninyo ako.

    Maraming salamat po.

From what I know, kasi dati naging option ko din kumuha ng migration agent, dapat lahat ng offices nun agent is nakalagay dun sa MARA website kapag sinearch mo yun pangalan nila. Hindi pwede yun reference lang nila. So that includes Philippine offices.

Take this guy for example, yun office niya sa Makati nakialagay din dun sa MARA site.

    https://www.mara.gov.au/agent/ARDetails.aspx?ud=3759&FolderID=394

I'm not passing judgement but some people will do or say just about anything to get your money. Kaka-register lang din pala nya last January 2012.

I'm not promoting Respall's services but siya yun madalas ko makita sa mga forums. Alam ko meron pa isa, Pines ba yun? Maybe other members here have their recommendations as well.

    @bryan..

Sir thank talaga sa information. It really help a lot.
I will try to contact Respall's office for inquiries.

    Thank you and more power

by the way ngreply na si migration agent, ito yung cinabi nya:

    Dear Abby

Thank you for the enquiry This email is to introduce myself as a registered migration agent in Australia and I have received your enquiry through my personal email account. Please find my answers as follow in response to your queries accordingly.
    ___________________

I recently went to Global Visas website to go through the free assessment and someone from Global Visas based in the Philippines whose name is John Paul Pacheco from Cebu City called me and told me how the process works. He said that I will need a work permit in Australia and need to pay Php100,000 (more or less 3000AUD) for the processing fee and that global visas will assist me in finding an employer in Australia. He also said that global visas will make sure that I have the job order first before departing to Australia and that I will not pay for anything aside from the processing fee. - 1.Yes, you need to job offer for a temporary work visa in Australia. 2.I have no idea how much you will get charged in Philippines. 3. Global Visas have a service called IES (International Employment Service) but we do not look for a job for you. We will put your qualification, experience etc together and get your CV nicer and better but there is no guarantee ("make sure") you will get a job offer. 4. There is application fee for the Asutralian Dept. which depends on the visa types.
It seems to good to be true. I do not think that I will only pay P100,000 (P100,000 is quite big to be honest with you but if this is really legit then I would like to try). - There is application fee for the Asutralian Dept. which depends on the visa types.
I would like to know if you as the migration agent had experienced assisting migrants/workers from the Philippines and if these people where successful enough in landing Australian jobs. Having known that Global Visas Australia is currently registered in MARA is a breather to me however I want to make sure that your counterpart(s) here in the Philippines also has the same credibility as yours. It's been my dream to live and work in Australia so I'm sourcing any possible means just to grab it. - 1. Yes, certainly, there are many Filipinos successfully completed therir visa application process and currently in Australia (many of my clients) but it is also true not everyone from Philippines are successful. 2. I have no idea if there is anybody in Cebu office are MARA licensed (you need to check) and IMPORTANLY, please note, unless the case (application) comes in to my desk and (physically) reviewed by myself, that case has got nothing to do with me.

Hope I have answered your enquiry.

    Thank you.

    Best wishes

There you go. Yun nag-email sa iyo is legit, and andun un email nya in globalvisas.com sa signature niya. So ang issue na lang is yun sa Cebu, I think they are just using his identity from what I understand in his response.

Parang ang dami na talagang scammers ngayon. If me budget ka naman at wala kang time para mag ayos ng papers personally might as well inquire for the services of respall. Good luck sayo!

I called Respall din at hinihintay ko pa feedback nila kasi they requested me to send my resume for their evaluation. Sa tingin nyo kaya mga magkano ang magagastos for their services?

Yung qoute po nila akin dati is 3000 Aud. Professional fee pa lang po yun plus yung visa fee (2960 Aud) plus skills assessment fee. This is way back 2009. :D
