@loudandclear Yes! You cannot lodge a visa without paying. You can start uploading documents when you got your TRN number after lodging your visa. TRN # is the username that you need to go through the eVisa online. Anyways CO will contact you sooner for additional docs.

Anyone here who has lodged their visa application for subclass 189 recently? We have lodged ours last 27 July but we are still waiting (going 8weeks now) for a CO to be allocated. Does it really take this long? Thanks...

@ela_0501 I lodged mine last July 25. It takes about 8 weeks to get allocated to a CO for 189 then 4 weeks for 190. Hopefully hindi na mas tumagal pa at sana ma-assignan na tayo sa 8th week.

hi gurl... ganun nga din prayer ko.. pero wala pa rin balita kay CO... sana magparamdam na xa para d ko na kelangan tumawag sa DIAC at mag follow up... i heard about other cases na 3 months na pero la pa cla CO...

@arlene5781 may CO na kami, nag submit na din kami ng iba pa niyang ni request last friday.. hindi ko alam kung ano pa kaya kailangan niya hehe sana walang problem na sa mga docs and medicals namin.

hindi ko ma-open yung invitation letter sa skillselect page. i already emailed tech support and they're still fixing the problem. but they said i can proceed applying for a visa by clicking the "APPLY VISA" button.

my questions are.... may hihingin pa bang documents kasabay ng pag lodge ko ng visa or payment lang ang gagawin on this stage and dito din ba sa stage na to ibibigay yung TRN#?, tapos to follow yung uploading ng documents. saan makikita yung list of required documents na need i-upload? si CO ba magsasabi or nasa instructions upon lodging a visa. sori daming tanong, ang concern ko kase baka may special instructions dun sa invitation letter. thanks.

sa pag lodge ng visa application... may mga questions ka i-answer dun na similar sa EOI... kelangan mo lang i-prove yung mga na-claim mo na points... then kung cno mga dependents mo kung meron man na i-include sa application... then sa last part yung payment ng visa... sa pag create mo ng visa application... makukuha mo yung TRN number... so once ma-complete mo na and magbayad ka na... i-lead ka nya to a new page... dun mo na i-upload yung mga documents... yung list of documents na nakalagay naman dun is yung standard... so attach mo lang those that apply to the points you claimed... upon CO allocation.. kung may hihingin pa c CO... yun na lang yung mga additional documents...

I badly need your help, please

I have a pending application which is the "Class VF subclass 475 Skilled (Provisional) Regional Sponsored.

This application was way back 2008 pa po. My aunt who is an Australian citizen in Melbourne is the one sponsoring me for this type of visa.
At first I do not understand well the processing, bastat may kelangang requirements, agad agad nag susubmit ako. my aunt got me a registered migration agent for this application.

By the way, I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines, when my application started last 2008, I already have my experience as a nurse for more than 3 years na nun.

Kaso I did not pursue this application because i was so frustrated with my IELTS result. kelangan daw all 7points, twice na akong nag take and ganun pa rin result, hindi all 7. so eventually, umabot na til 2013 hindi na tumuloy ang application ko.

my questions are:

1. should i really have an all 7points in each section in ielts sa type of visa na ito para mag continue?

2. yung last email sa akin nung agent ko which was last year is that there will be a long delay in the processing of my application because it falls under priority group 5, which means that my nominated occupation is not on the SOL in effect from 01 July 2012.
i do not understand when he meant na im not in the list of SOL, totoo bang wala na sa list of sol ang NURSE??

3.i am applying now for a student visa(subclass 573), will it affect my pending application kung ituloy ko ang student visa?

4. lately ko lang nalaman na pwede naman pala akong magpunta as student muna, bakit hindi binigay na option sa akin ng migration agent ko ang student visa option?

5. could you please enlighten me with the subclass 475 visa i have. actually, im not really sure about this type of visa. ang alam ko lang i am being sponsored by my relative in australia. should i really continue this application or just take the faster one which is the student visa(subclass 573).

please, i really need your input in these..

@jhoney - hi..

1. you need 7.0 in each section para makakuha ka ng points sa points system.. so i guess kaya ka ni rerequire ng 7.0 eh para umabot ang points mo sa cut-off

2. Nasa SOL pa rin po ang "nurse".. pero by reading your story, mukhang hindi kayo "nagpa-assess" sa assessing agency for Nurses, kaya in effect parang wala kayong na-nominate na occupation sa 475 application nyo.. kaya kayo napunta sa Priority 5 (sponsored by relative but NO nominated occupation from SOL)... hindi enough na RN kayo sa pinas, dapat ma-recognize ng AU ang educ/skills nyo as a Nurse bago kayo mag-qualify..

pero kung nagpa-assess kayo at lumabas na positive skills assessment kayo, at ginamit nyo yung result para ma-nominate kayo as a "AU registered/qualified Nurse", then dapat nasa priority 3 or 4 dapat kayo.. at dapat eh tumatakbo na ang application nyo (kung tinuloy nyo)

3. Sabi nyo, hindi nyo naman tinuloy ang 475 application, so walang effect yun kung mag student visa kayo ngayon..

4. yes.. student visa na ang option ngayon for nurses.. either mag brigding/conversion program kayo para maging AU RN.. please see thread about nurses... search nyo lang dito sa forum..

5. if you look at the allocation table.. yung mga application of visa 475 under priority 5, wala pang umaandar, ibig sabihin kahit ung applicants nung unang panahon eh hindi pa rin na-aasikaso.. at kung gusto nyo namang ituloy ngaun eh hindi na rin pwede, dahil hindi na sila tumatanggap ng application ng 475.. meron pwede pero ibang visa type na...

@jhoney. Hi. I suggest na if possible take ka ulit ng IELTS. Nirerequire ng AHPRA na 7.0 ung score in each subtest sa IELTS or B sa OET (Occupational English Test). From experience, taking both IELTS and OET, mas madali ang OET, especially ung writing part. Whilst on a student visa, try mo mag apply ng state sponsorship or 189, ang mangyayari naman pag na-approve ung nomination mo or skilled independent, madidisregard na ung student visa mo. I might be wrong through, pero pwede mo itawag sa DIAC para sigurado. Once makuha mo na ung nursing registration mo from AHPRA, apply kna ng skills assessment from ANMAC (12-16 weeks due to backlog). Ung NSW state nomination 6 lang sa ielts pwede na sakanila, pero 0 pts sa 189 visa.

IELTS 7.0 each -> AHPRA Registration -> ANMAC Skills assessment -> 190/189 Route depende sa points. Ung 190 pwede na kahit 55 points, +5 pts upon invitation.

@imeetr, walang ganung rule. except that as per study, ang-iincrease dw ang band width ng tao sa english in 3mos of continuous usage (in whatever form).

@cchamyl, thanks akala ko kasi ganun anyways at least may time pa ako mag take agad, if ever di makaabot ang score ko, hinahabol ko kasi yung March 2014 for KAPS exam ko pag di kasi ako maka habol next schedule is on Sept.2014 pa ulit, ang deadline ng application for March exam is on Dec. 15, 2013 with IELTs results yun, for registration kasi ako as Pharmacist. After nung assessment ko from APharmC kailangan ko mag take ng qualifying exam nila, then tsaka ako mag apply for EOI, tapos off list na ako sa SOL kaya kailangan ko pa ng SS sa south australia ang gusto ko, kasi sa North and South na lang open sa ngayon yung profession ko. Hi JadeandJohn. I am using a migration agent (Migration Global Assistance) located near my place lang. So very convenient.

The Professional fee is a little lucrative but personally, I have found their services to be very convenient. Especially for someone like myself working 9-5.

They have flexible payment terms which are manageable.

But if you have the time to really process it on your own, you would be saving a lot vs going through a migration agent.
