Chances are, you will not have time to go over all the questions again, so best that you review your answer first before moving on to the next set...May psych factor yan e...kung di ka panatag sa mga una mong sinagot, di mo mabibigay buo mong focus sa mga susunod kasi inaalala mo pa yung una.

1. Read and understand instructions before anything else... strict sa formatting ang reading so ang sagot like "NOT GIVEN" will not be considered correct kung ang sagot na hinahanap is "NG", Wrong spelling wrong din so, "FALES" will not be accepted in place of "FALSE"... I believe nung unang panahon is case sensitive din ang checking ng IELTS (mali ang "Starbucks" na sagot if nasusulat sa passage ang "STARBUCKS")... I read somewhere na naging lax na sila dito the past few years PERO, sundin pa din natin ang tamang case to make sure (i.e. if instructions says "TRUE" or "FALSE" by any means, wag saasagot ng "true" or "false")
During practice and pagcheck ng sagot against answer keys, be strict sa formatting... Kung ano ang format na nakalgay sa answer key, yun lang dapat ang iconsider mo na tama - this way mapraktis ng maayos ang IELTS format... When I started practicing reading ang dami kong mali sa format and kelangan talagang na itaas natin ang standards natin sa practice, learn from our mistakes and acknowledge na ang wrong answer as wrong, bago pa maging bad habit... no points in effort ang reading (i guess, IELTS in general)
2. Pag ready ka na to proceed with a subtest, basahin muna yung tanong before reading the passages (gaya ng sabi ni Loki) this way, may idea ka na kung ano yung hahanapin mo sa passage which will make it easier kasi hindi mo naman makakabisado yung passage and pag inuna mo sya, for sure babalik balikan mo din yun pag binasa mo na yung tanong... More often than not, in sequence yung tanong sa kung saan mo makikita sa passage, pero may mga situations na hindi din, so always be on the lookout sa sitwasyon na to...
4. Header matching - kung question form ang header, then the passage content should answer that question beyond any reasonable doubt (impeachment mode)... Kapag statement naman ang header, try mo lang gawing question form (ala jepopardy), then pag nasagot ito ng paragraph, then that's your man - Eto yung medyo nakakalito na part and I believe there are a multitude of techniques na pwedeng magwork for specific individuals, so you have to find out what works for you and discard what doesnt (bruce lee :P) - and you can only do this by learning from your mistakes and analyzing what you could've done better, hindi yung sugod lang ng sugod sa mga practice exams... you should see to it na you are improving everytime you take on a practice round and committing the same mistake over and over again is unacceptable
5. Nasa diyos and awa, nasa tao ang gawa - Pray and pray and pray... but prayers will only work if you're gonna put yourself in a position to succeed... You have to believe that you can, and you have to want it so you can have an easier time... And by wanting it I mean focusing on practice, not making any excuses for not being able to practice or not learning from your mistakes... Remember, we can only have other people guide us for so long, pag narating na natin ang ilog, it's up to us kung itatawid ba natin ang sarili natin or hahayaan na lang natin tangayin tayo ng agos... naks
Good luck mates! Hope matawid natin lahat ang ilog ahahah!
