at ipa-check sa kanila kung tatanggapin..
mas okay mag declare kesa mag penalty...

@peach17 hi sis! i am bringing my dog to oz too.. non-negotiable yun for me, kelangan talaga kasama sya. medyo tedious lang ang process and masakit sa bulsa. If manggagaling sa SG (where I live) yung dog, required sila iquarantine for 30 days. Much longer pa if from Pinas.

mga sis... pwede naman isama ang aso... pwede naman cla magtravel... i-arrange mo lang eto... just confirm with immigration kung ano yung mga requirements... and then you also need to arrange the case na paglalagyan sa kanila sa plane..

pero sis @cchamyl, parang need pa daw i quarantine di ba sis @staycool? sa ibang country pa? kawawa nman sila baka hindi alagaan mga puppies namin huhu

ang galing nman, madadala mo sa OZ ang dog mo.
Paano yung process sis? Pero okay lang ba na iquarantine ang dog? Baka mastress sila kasi hindi natin sila kasama.
Saang place ba sila iqquarantine if ever?

naku, sobra sobrang DAMI ng requirements!! and hindi mo sila maisasama agad agad...they need to undergo NUMEROUS tests and wala pa dito sa Pinas ang testing centers!!...ang pinakamalapit is sa Singapore pa!! then di bababa ng 6months ang pagtetest...plus dapat lagyan pa sila ng CHIP....tapos ikaw gagastos sa lahat lahat lahat!!!....pag-iipunan ko pa ng bonggang bongga ang para sa baby dog ko...kung pwede lang ipasok sa maleta yung yorkie ko gagawin ko talaga...sasamahan ko pa sya sa loob ng maleta!! waaaahhhh

also, mga sisses @peach17, @ellajing, and @cchamyl ... gustong gusto ko dalhin ang baby doggy ko...sa totoo lang, mas nade-depress pa akong isipin everyday na iiwan ko sya dito mag-isa...ang unfair ko naman diba?...dapat kasama ko din sya?...pero ang tanong jan, ang quarantine sa Singapore, how much ang magagastos ba dun?...and then lahat ng costs (accommodation, tests, etc.) how much ang breakdown plus ang pagpunta pa nya sa Au??...i am really really planning to send my dog afterwards as soon as maka-job ako and maka-settle....uunahin ko aso ko tlaga...hehe.... :bz [-(

Thankfully talaga nasa Singapore ako, so microchipped na ang dog ko and mas konti lang ang tests required for him. Based sa computations ko, S$1500-$2000 (50-70k pesos) magagastos for bringing my dog to AU, kasama na yun accommodation nya sa quarantine na $39/day.

1. Hindi namn prohibited ang mga over-the-counter meds like paracetamol at vitamins. So nung ako tinanong ko sa mga staff dun kung kailangan ko ba i declare, sabi nila pag for personal use lang ok lng na hndi.

3. Pag brand new lang po. So ako meron din mga bagong clothes/shoes.. Sympre inalis ko ang mga orignal packaging, price tag at kunyari luma na.

7. Yes wooden articles dito..

9. Yup dapat linisin mabuti..

hello po. i need your opinion re s plan namin ni hubby. hubby is required to contact the health department, based on his health undertaking, once he arrive in oz. but we plan to just fulfill the IED either in oct 2013 or feb 2014 then final move in june.

kailangan ba as in sa unang entry namin kontakin un health dept or pede naman sa june n? plan kasi namin one to two weeks lang kami s melbourne sa initial entry e. pero kun required kami to contact the health dept and perform the required med check-ups sa initial entry then we may have to stay there a month or so?

@ellajing thanks sa input ha...so, kung manggagaling sa SG mga 1500-2k AUD ang iipunin?...kung sa amin naman mga taga-pinas mga 4-5k na ata??...haha...magkakano magpa-chip ng dog?...di po ba masakit yun?? paano yun, di ko mavivisit ang dog ko sa facility, are they OKAY lang ba dun?...mga gaano katagal po kaya ang tests sa part ko?

@cchamyl...na-touch ako dun sa "our dog has only US for their family"...huhu..the more dapat bitbitin ang babies natin!!!

Gusto ko rin malaman sagot dito kasi dadalhin ko rin mga plates, utensils, pots and pans ko eh.

@ellajing nagbasa ako kagabi... nasa category 5 po ang philippines, sa "Other countries"...so, kung ang aso po namin mangggaling pa ng Pinas, dapat ipa-quarantine muna namin sa pinakamalapit na quarantine center, in our case sa SG, ng AT LEAST 6 months....then from SG, ipapasok sa Au for months of quarantine pa...tiningnan ko din ang rates ng Au...ang minimum nila for dogs from SG, or sa category 1 countries, is 30 days mga AUD 1300!!! .... so, mahal sobra...plus bugbog pa aso mo sa mga quarantine...

so siguro after ng mga 1 - 2 years, after kong makaipon ng mga kahit 5k AUD, pwede ko nalang ipa-pet transport agent ang baby ko...willing to pay naman as long as may pera...makasama lang ang anak kong dog...hehe... :x $:\$ "> :P

hi @viperbuzz12, i believe kailangan ito gawin sa first entry nyo pa lang sa Australia.
Kasama sya sa things to do after arrival and with equal importance sa pag register sa TFN, Medicare, etc.

Kailangan natin ifulfill yun as part ng Health Undertaking.

Pero to be sure pwede mo din cguro ask si CO mo kung pwede ba sya gawin sa next visit mo na lang.

@peach17 @staycool in a nutshell, yes pwede to bring dogs from pinas but can be very costly kasi kelangan muna iquarantine ang dog sa DAFF approved country like SG for 6 months before bringing them to oz then quarantine again when they arrive in oz. All the required blood tests and vaccinations must be done in the DAFF approved country as well.
