    you're right. kung mapag aaralan ito maigi at ma-execute sa actual test for sure you will get a good score. Although he is a Canadian so mother tongue natural ang approach niya. Dapat at least yung mabilis na analysis niya at paglagay ng cohesive sentences makuha natin yung style.

    Ito po subok lang using the step by step procedure galing dun sa link na ipinost ko earlier.

    When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree with this opinion?

    In those developed countries, advancing the technology has been a major focus for the companies to achieve the productivity and profit of their businesses. Technology played the big role in every industry for the success of their market sales. Although contested by many, it is argued that this development has positive effects on the country itself. This will be proven by analysing how the technology can outweigh the traditional skills used and applied in a country before.

    First of, the vast improvement of technologies for small scale entrepreneurs and multinational companies have brought significant and favourable earnings that boosted their investments very well. Like for example, in a manufacturing sector where they often use robotics and automations to carry out the assembly and handling of the materials for production. The process will be much faster, efficient and accurate in lesser time to meet the higher outputs. Thus, the benefits of using technologies can be seen.

    In addition to this, the aid of technology helps to achieve the end results in a precise manner. There will be a small margin of human error; therefore the quality is reliable and guaranteed. Furthermore, the estimated products to deliver are well predicted and able to plan accordingly. This makes clear the positive point in having the technology plays the big role in bringing revenues to business.

    After analysing how the development of technology helps a nation to prosper, I am deeply convinced that the beneficial ramifications of prolonging usage and depending on it can be seen with clarity. It is hoped that in the future, technology innovations will further develop and advance so countries and their people will constantly sustain their economical progress.

    Hello po again! Thank you for posting the video here in this forum. It gave a lot of ideas in writing my essay. I am here to seek for your help again to criticize and comment about my work. Thank you in advance for all your help!
    ====================================
    Write about the following topic:

    Some people consider computers to be more of a hindrance than a help. Others believe that they have greatly increased human potential.

    How could computers be considered a hindrance?
    ====================================

    There has been a huge difference in the advancement of technology since the past few decades, like the invention of computer. Some individuals may contest that this type of equipment does not really help people. However, many believe that computers have greatly influenced the improvement of one’s skills and competencies. This essay will deeply evaluate how using such equipment could be a hindrance or of help in increasing human skill.

    Firstly, nowadays, many people rely to finish their work using a computer. For instance, students will only have to research their assignments using search engines, such as Google, Yahoo or Wikipedia. This action prevents students to think more deeply since most of the answers are already listed in the website. Another point is that, a lot of person tends to delay their work due to the addiction of using social media sites. This greatly affects their efficiency to perform their work, such as chatting with friends, playing online games and watching videos.

    However, it should still be noted that it is still a responsibility of an individual to discipline their self in using this technological equipment. It is not right to blame these modern machineries if human abilities are being deterred. Furthermore, computers played very important roles in the lives of people working overseas. For example, this could lessen their feeling of homesickness that may prevent an employee to find a hard time coping up with his or her work. Thus, their productivity may suffer. Taking advantage of the modernized gadgets also promotes the growing number of telecommuting jobs. This would result in the creation of more opportunities to earn income, which is very popular for parents that would like to work at home. It also develops individuals to become a multi-tasking oriented person.

    After analysing the pros and cons of using this technology, I am deeply convinced that computers play a very vital part in an individual’s life as this would not only make one life easier but provides more room to develop different skills from various fields. It is hoped that people should learn how to properly take advantage of using this machinery to equip them to become a better skilled individuals.

    @ozdreamer123;

    1. Make your Intro and Summary paragraphs shorter by going directly to the point. Concentrate on developing your main paragraphs because this is where you get the most points.

    2. Your paragraphs do not have topic sentences. The first sentence of the paragraph usually introduces what the paragraph is about. Is the paragraph a collection of pros or cons, are you explaining hindrances or usefulness of computers... etc...

    Example for your 2nd paragraph. I assume this paragraph is for hindrances? consider doing this:

    There is a multitude of reasons why people consider computers as a hindrance to personal development.

    For your 3rd paragraph consider the following:

    On the other hand, computers play a very important role in the lives of people. For example, for people working overseas, this could lessen their feeling of homesickness that may prevent an employee to find a hard time coping up with his or her work. Thus, their productivity may suffer. Furthermore, taking advantage of the modernized gadgets also promotes the growing number of telecommuting jobs. This would result in the creation of more opportunities to earn income, which is very popular for parents that would like to work at home. Lastly, it also develops individuals to become a multi-tasking oriented person.

    Note the importance of the first sentence of each paragraph. This will give the reader a better picture of what to expect the rest of paragraph is all about. Off course, the rest of paragraph should support your topic sentence to be consistent.

    @btarroja213 and @michel_75 thank you very much po for the inputs.

    @btarroja213 I tried to create another essay and I already include a topic sentence for each paragraph. Thank you very much again!!

    Here you are:

    Write about the following topic:

    Recent figures show an increase in violent crime among youngsters under the age of 18. Some psychologists claim that the basic reason for this is that children these days are not getting the social and emotional learning they need from parents and teachers.

    To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

    ========================

    In most countries, the number of illegal offenses that are being committed by minors is dramatically going up higher. Many individuals believed that the reason for such should be blame to their guardians, who are their parents and school mentors, for their lack of guidance. On the other hand, it is also contested by some people that children should be given the chance to discipline themselves.

    Parents or instructors should give the young individuals their own space to develop their own characters. Firstly, giving too much guidance to children might lead them to become very dependent. For instance, when a kid already turns as adult, he or she might find difficulty in making their own decision in the future if his or her parent was always there to dictate what to do. Secondly, experience is always the best teacher. In this point, youth will get to appreciate that one moment in life where in they will have the chance to better understand what sort of learning they really need for their own betterment.

    However, no one can deny the responsibility of parents and teachers in moulding the personality of young individuals. One point is that they spend more time with the kids or students in which they are expected to teach them a bunch of good moral lessons. With this, punishment should be put on to the mother or father of a young kid who will commit juvenile crimes. In addition, parents and school mentors should coordinate with each other on how to best discipline the kids. This will be an excellent tie up as they could have a more effective monitoring on how the youngsters behave. Furthermore, it is not only the guardians who should be held responsible in a minor’s attitude but also the government to whom these youngsters live. For example, batting a child using a belt will be considered as a child abuse crime. Thus, this law gives the kids more guts to commit any wrongdoing acts.

    After analysing both views, I conclude that it should not only be the parents or school mentors who shall be held accountable in structuring the child’s personality but also the other factors of environment that surrounds the young individuals, such as media, government, adult strangers, etc. If only everyone will play their role correctly, then we will all be surprised to figure out the outcome of this. In effect, this will reduce the juvenile crimes among youth.

    ======

    @Michel_75 this still kinda long. I'm still trying to practice more to make my essay shorter.
    Thanks!

    Guys, in case you've got time to review my essay, thank you in advance! Critics are all welcome. Thanks again. Many many thanks!!

    @ozdreamer123 sa opinion ko ang galing mo kasi ang bilis mong maka compose ng ganyang essay...ako 12hrs bago ako makabuo ng isang essay, mas mahirap yan gawan ng paraan waaahhhhhh!

    Yong haba madali mo na lang yan i-correct, unti unti magbawas ka kasi yong oras kasi natin 40minutes lang. Baka lang hindi mo matapos yan sa 40minutes...at saka sabi sa review center na pinag enrolan ko hindi daw na i-impress yong examiner sa mahabang essay. Nashare ko lang ha.

    Si @batarroja213 mahusay yan sa pag edit ng essay...go kapatid!

    Kailan ka pala mag eexam?

    I would just like to drop by and say thank you to all those who shared their inputs, useful links and documents in this forum. It helped me a lot in preparing for my IELTS exam last September 21.

    Got the result:
    Listening: 8.5
    Reading: 8.5
    Writing: 7.0
    Speaking: 8.0

    I would have wanted to have an 8 for all but still thankful, thinking there is no need for me to retake the exam.

    Practice is really the key. Give as much time to train on writing essay. The site www.writefix.com helped a lot in having the foundation on how to compose essays.

    All the best to the rest who will take the exam.
