    Make sure you declare everything that you will be bringing to Australia. We paid $350 sa customs when I arrived. :(

    June 17 - Uni sent a message that they approved 14 credits for prior learning.
    June 21 - Uni emailed: move my intake to Feb 2014.
    July 5 - Passed IELTS! Yipee. Emailed Uni my result.
    July 16 - Received conditional OFFER LETTER from Uni. :)
    July 19 - sent my TOR to Uni.
    July 22 - Uni received my TOR
    July 24 - received my UNCONDITIONAL OFFER.
    July 31 - paid tuition fees and received COE
    Sept 16 - lodged visa application 573 SVP with one dependent thru VIA
    Sept 17 - acknowledgement from embassy with medical request.
    Sept 18 - Medical Examination at NHSI
    Sept 24 - Medical forwarded to Embassy
    Oct 4 - Phone interview with CO.
    Oct 7 - Emailed immi asking for updates
    Oct 8 - Received email from immi stating application is under assessment.
    Oct 9 - Received text message from Air 21 and Embassy that my documents has been dispatched.
    Oct 9 - visa refusal! :(

    Our records indicate that the application was received on 19 September 2013
    and process is on- going.

    We must state, as you may have been informed, the standard processing
    period for this type of application is 90 days (indicative only) in which
    period the visa office endeavours to finalise the visa application.

    As it is, your application is still within our published service standard
    and we stand with our commitment to finalise such process as per
    regulation. Applicants are encouraged to lodge their application at least 2
    months prior to their intake schedule as we are unable to grant request to
    expedite process.

    The case officer will be in touch should there be a need for any additional
    information/document, or if there are things to be clarified from you or if
    a decision is forthcoming.

    Nag followup po ako yan reply skin,bakit po my application daw po was received sept 19,pero nag lodged ako sept 14, sept 19 ung medical ko nasend ng ng st lukes,naguguluhan lang po ako.. Ung application ko ba na nreceived nila is my medical?oh ung mga papers ko?sorry 1st time.. Need help thank you

    @danyan2001us salamat sis! first time ko lang kasi aalis. medyo bata pa ko at never ko pa natry tumira away from my family. kaya homesick din ang kalaban ko sa lahat :) buti may titirhan na ko dito at libre na rin naman food kaya siguro mas okay para sakin. salamat uli! tagal mo na dito ah :) may racism ba talaga sa aussie?
    advantage nga yan sis na medyo bata ka pa e. iisipin mo lang pagdating mo dun, sarili mo. in my case nga, mahirap kasi i have to sacrifice na iwan muna ang anak ko dito sa pinas. syempre, ang isip ko, palaging hati. kalahati nasa OZ, kalahati sa pinas. kaya if i were you, simulan mo na mga plano mo habang maaga pa. :)

    @markier87 i paid one sem only. most schools, one sem lang naman. free ang services ng IDP, including visa application, kung sila nagprocess ng application mo sa school. ibig sabihin, from start to finish, sila ang nag assist sayo. may fee lang sila kung yung application to school, you did on your own tapos visa application assistance na lang ang inavail mong services from them. you can email [email protected]. i'm from mindanao too, btw.

    @iheartoz Hi sis! Oo nga eh. Ako kasi naiisip ko maiiwan ko mother ko dito na sobrang bestfriend ko at boyfriend ko. Yun pinaka nakakalungkot. Pero iniisip ko na lang na makukuha ko din sila in the long run. Basta tiis tiis lang. Hindi din naman nakakalungkot yung lugar na pupuntahan ko like the Middle East na closed city :) San ka sa OZ? :)

    @Hi nar_jet ! San ka magaaral? tsaka san state? :) Bait nila sa AMS no? Sobrang supportive. Yung ibang agencies naniningil ng processing fee. Yung isang kakilala ko siningil DAW sila ng 30k for the processing fee nya.

    sang agency yan? actually, may napuntahan akong agency dati, they could've charged me 100k kung di ko nalaman about AMS. buti na lang nag orient sila sa Niner's after ng final coaching ko.hehe nakabook ka na?

    @nar_jet uy! classmate mo siguro friend ko :) Dapat sa UWS ako kaso i TAFE ko daw muna sabi ng lola ko. tsaka malayo samin ang UWS napagalaman ko. 3 hours away from Manly. Kung san ako titira. Ang malapit samin ay ACU, medyo mas mura din kaya okay :) Kay Ms. Romina ako. ikaw? Hindi pa naku. Nagfill up na ko ng forms, at nagaantay ng conditional na offer. kasi sa 12 pa IELTS ko. :) Di ko masyadong sure what agency. Pero dami nagkalat naku. Kaya dapat magingat at magresearch maigi bago magconsult sa mga agencies. Iba dun peperahan ka lang. :)

    @iheartoz For Feb intake ka sis ng ACU? :) Balitaan mo ko kung maganda ha? Dun ko kasi balak idiretso after my Diploma in TAFE Ultimo :) Sa Sydney din ako. Manly to be exact :)

    @nursealexi nagbabasa ako sa site ng ACU ngayon. it's quite comforting to know na ang stat ng international students nila is almost half sa north sydney campus. so madaming foreigners. at least di ganun kadominated ng locals. i checked on Manly. nasa northern sydney pala sya so same campus pala talaga sana tayo. sayang naman. :(

    talaga? kay Miss Romina din ako, sabi nga nya andami ko daw classmates na nahandle nya.hehe 1 1/2 hrs. nga byahe ko papunta school eh, free housing and food kasi ako sa parramatta so keri na din.:) kakastart mo lang pala, medyo madami ka pang ififill up nyan.haha pero mabilis sa AMS, basta as much as possible icomplete mo na ung requirements kahit dpa need para masubmit mo agad.:)

    @danyan2001us sir ask ko lang po yung course na kinuha ni misis, MPA, nahirapan po ba sya? demanding po ba sa time yung schooling nya. two decades ago pa yung huling hawak ko ng accounting books. another question, yung husband ko may regional accent, hirap syang icorrect yung pagsasalita nya kahit more than 20 years na sya sa manila, hindi ba sya mahirapan magadjust sa oz?

    hi, medyo demanding nga kay mrs yong course nila dahil within a week 2 chapters tatapusin nila then final exams covers the whole book...aside from that, demanding din ang mga assignments nila....at least sa kanya nakakatulong sa kanya yong accounting background niya sa atin at saka yong tafe background niya dito sa melbourne, accounting field din....marami nga daw nagfail sa kanila klase...mahal pa naman per unit pag magretake 2,200$ hehe.....pero depende yan sa institution....with regard to your husband, sige lang makaka adjust rin siya sa OZ lingo...medyo maninibago ka lang talaga at the start kasi nga slang sila masyado at medyo lagi pa nagmamadali sa pagsasalita......pero sa experience ko sa awa ng Diyos nakaka adjust naman....good luck sis..melbourne ba kayo at anong school nga yon?

    @guro_ako...... MPA ka rin ba? sa klase nila 60 students sila at majority dyan mga indian at chinese....siya lang ang pinoy sa klase nila....be positive lang sis ang importante makakarating na kyo dito sa OZ......

    @danyan2001us still waiting. i applied early talaga 'coz the first time i went to IDP and asked about ACU, sinabi sa akin na mabilis nga daw maubos ang slots. tapos, nung time na yun, puno na din talaga. nagsubmit na ako ng visa requirements nung april kasi minadali ako ng agent ko. yun pala she was thinking na july intake ako. kaya yun. we had to slow down and wait a few months para mag-apply kasi di rin naman daw magbibigay ng visa ang embassy ng ganun kaaga. they will hold the papers pa rin so useless. iniisip ko din, baka matabunan pa papers ko, di maprocess. good thing din kasi during those months, we have come to decide na isabay na lang si hubby sa application. :)
