Tourist visa requirement- dummy plane ticket??

Hi folks! Question lng. Pde ba mgsponsor ng visa ang in-law? Hehe :-) yung letter of invitation kelangan lng pag sinabi sa application na may sponsor sa Au ung applicant, tama ba?

Also, ano po example documents na pde gamitin as proof of family ties sa ph?

@stolich18 - kahit friends nga pwede mag sponsor ng tourist visa eh..
just state the purpose of the trip sa inviitation letter.

kung ang sponsor ang magbabayad ng trip, accomodation/food, kailangan mag-attach ng mga docs ng sponsor (bank account, payslip, house address...etc)..

NSO Birth certificate , Marriage contract ang ginagamit naming proof of ties .. macoconect mo naman yung Fathers name at mothers name dun e

I dont know about sponsors but I have once written a statutory declaration for my in-laws

i dont think the confirmed ticket is a requirement though..

Opo, last year nung kami wala naman airline ticket or confirmed ticket na hinanap. Then yung housemate ko just last month when they applied wala din hinanap na plane ticket. They booked the ticket right after having their visa approval.

alam po ba nyo ang present processing timeline ng tourist visa (3 months)?
nakalagay sa website nila 1 month daw po. ganun pa rin po ba ang nangyayari sa ngaun?

I dont have visa yet but i already have ticket for sydney.i booked from manila to singapore with cebu pacific and singapore to sydney with scoot..this is my first time to book a ticket abroad. So my worry is, when i arrive at singapore do i need to pass through singapore immigration?idea pls...thank you so much!

@juan, you will definitely need to pass SG immigration sir... cebu pacific and scoot are 2 different airlines. what happens is that when you arrive in SG you need to do the ff:

(1) pass SG immigration and enter SG
(2) secure your luggage
(3) secure your scoot boarding pass and check in your luggage and
(4) pass SG immigration and exit SG

walang problema naman dito assuming you have you visa to australia and there is sufficient time for you to do step 1-4 above. otherwise baka you will miss your flight.

i think when your friend said, "dummy ticket" it does not mean na fake ticket..

travel agencies normally can book you ticket without confirming/paying it yet..
that is what a "dummy" ticket is.. they would normally ask you to pay a fee for this service..
not all travel agencies can do this.. so just ask..

Yes, that is what a dummy ticket is. I have applied for business visa in three different countries (US, India and now AU) and they all require a dummy ticket. And in fact, when I applied for a US visa, it is clearly stated in the guidelines that the ticket need not to be finalized yet at ganon din sa case ng hotels - unconfirmed/unfinalized hotel booking. I think, their purpose is to make the applicant familiar of the costs of traveling.

I think depende po sa purpose, for Tourist Visa hindi ka hahanapan and hindi din po nila enencourage to have an actual ticket or a dummy ticket, more of an intinerary lang ang hihingin, or not unless iba po ang requirements coming from Pinas.

Last dec my father submitted everything so i dont know when the policy changed, binabalik namin e through courier, regarding visa label they just send you a print out when you get a approval ( tourist visa) no visa label fee

@JCsantos..ahh okk.. dati po pinapasend pa nla ang passport, pro lately lg po ok na cla sa certified true copy lg.. nag apply po ang hubby ko ng tourist visa nitong feb lg at certified true copy lg lahat ang pinadala namin sa embassy..at wla namang naging prob..

@apc..I think para lg yan sa nag aaply for fiance or partner's visa.. Kasi it stated na pag nag apply ka sa NSO ilagay mo yung client reference ID or HAP ID. Sa tourist visa hindi provided yan ehh.. Sa ky hubby kasi lahat certified true copy lg.

No you just need to submit one application form,

ano pong original documents hinihingi? kung bank certification, dapat orginal ang ipasa mo pero as for other documents hindi kailangan original.

"She"-agent who assessed me when i called via!..she clearly stated that i need to send all original documents except passport..so just followed her..i sent original docs like bank cert,leave application,nso birth cert,coe..oct 21 i received confirmation from australian embassy that they had already my application..how long would it take to get approval?
