Hi all,

Anyone of you who lodged with an agent? Feeling ko kasi super bagal nung agent nmin gggrrrr!!!!
It's been 2 months na kasi since we applied and yet til now wala pang progress, we submitted all except ung medical ko as secondary applicant which he advised not to undergo examination unless told to do so. The problem is until now walang progress, wala pa ata kming CO and ung medical ni hubby done last July pa when I checked the visa online, recommended pa rin at organize your health examination nakalagay.
Whenever we're asking our agent ssbhin lang nya "mabagal po ang immigration ngayon ngpalit kasi ng prime minister tsaka mgpapasko kasi". What a stupid reason! Can you please advise us what to do? I think delayed na ung processing times nmin. Thanks in advance guys.

Ung visa 187 ( i dunno)

Hindi nyo po pde e pattern ung visa sublass 187 sa 189, thoung naiintindhan ko that 2 months na kaung nag aantay after lodging ung application.

Para mas maintindihan mo ng mabuti, mag basa basa kau sa DIBP website at alamin nyo ung visa subclass nyo and u can also check ung ibang nasa forum pero dapat kaparehas nyo ng Visa, Para atleast alam nyo na tama ung expectation nyo.

I hope naliwanagan kau.. :) Thanks po and All the best satin lahat..

Chill lang at darating din yan..

There are a lot of factors to consider:
    1. Anong stream ng 187 inapply nyo. Direct entry ba or transition stream?
    2. Sabay ba inapply yung nomination and visa application? Approve na ba yung nomination?
    3. Yung application niyo ba ay DRC or non-drc?
(and since hindi ka pa pina medical, then I am assuming non-drc yung application niyo which will be longer waiting time.) Also sa online status ba kasama pangalan mo as applicant? meron din ba nakalagay sayo organize your health examination? kasi kung kasama ka at hindi ka pa nagpa medical then I think hindi talaga mag progress application niyo kasi mag hihintay ang immigration ng medicals mo as a dependent of your husband.
    5. Nasa OZ ka ba kasama ng husband mo on a 457 dependent visa?
    6. I think 2 months is too early to be concerned lalo na pag hindi pa approve yung nomination and kung non-drc yung application niyo.
    7. As for the online status, minsan kasi hindi yan updated kagaya ng 457 dependent application ng anak ko. health examination outstanding palagi for a month then suddenly visa grant na, wala man lang medicals receive nakalagay.

hi! @apc thank u for taking time to reply :)

my husband is in australia since 2011 holding visa 457 at that time di p kami married. since naka 2 years na sya, eligible na sya s pr. i'm here in the phils.

@anneoz08..check my timeline below.. were on the same subclass of visa, rsms 857 ang name nyan before.. after 10 months ako ngka CO.. mbagal ang processing sa subclass natin, ung iba nga inaabot ng 15 months ang processing. So u can't blame ur agent kasi nkasalalay sa DIBP ang processing hindi sa agent nyo..

Yes, tama c @apc a lot of factor to consider..

06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.

@anneoz08..kahit complete na ung document nyo on the time nung nag lodge kau ng visa, hindi tlaga yan ma coconsider at ma ededeclare ng agent as drc application kasi wla ka sa OZ as dependent..

hi sis. ah ok so ang drc pala ay pag pareho kaung on shore.
baka naging cause ng delay sau is hinabol mo ung hubby mo as secondary applicant? priority 1 kasi tayo at 6mos. average processing time according sa DIAC website.

Ngayun di sya puede lumipat obligation nya within 2 years sa employer na nag sponsor sa kanya. kapag lumipat sya breach of contract yun.

Changing of Government and Holiday seasons are not STUPID reasons, because people here take a long leave during holidays .... depends on how long the employee on the company is, they can ask for a day to 4 weeks ( some can do 6 weeks ) of leave no questions ask .. and Changing of government affects workloads of public service

No worries.

Be humble and be supportive sa hubby mo this is a life style changing & challeging kapag nasa oz kana. Please be thankful to God. God bless. cheers :D

and kahit naman po diba nasunod yung timeline, still wala pa din naman 6 mos yun application being lodged ng August = 2 mos palang siya. Chill muna and avoid unnecessary stress such as panicking and blame game with the agent considering the timeline as per DIBP.
