    I guess it depends on your senario, if with kids then its going to be difficult because you dont have centrelink and medicare benefits. If single or couple, and your field is in demand here then RSMS is not a bad idea.

    Have a look in seek.com.au how indemand are your skills set.

    Sorry I never used the word dredful to describe that 2yrs and counting. But then again maybe its just me. :)

    Hello sa lahat...newbie din po here in SA. Arrived last sept14 with my wife on a State Sponsored Provisional Visa 498.

    No kids pa po and looking forward to get a job asap pero as far sa our online job hunting.. medyo di pa sinuswerte as of now.

    Im on IT doing voice and networks while my wife is a medtech. Shes the primary applicant and had took an exam for medtech here as part of the requirements.

    Hope to meet you soon and kng may ma refer kayo na job please do so..thanks thanks!!

    Anyway we are staying in Paralowie as of now with a family friend but looking to find a place soon

    Napansin ko din hinde uso un here, one person pa lng ang kakilala ko na may job offer then temp accommodation, but then again he is a nurse so after hours ung start at work nya.

    guys question po, kulang kasi ako ng points pag di ko pa rin naisiyete tong next ielts take ko, and malamang 489 na lang ang iapply ko... pag sinabi bang regional all throughout Adelaide hinde pwede manirahan or magwork? di ba mahirap mghanap ng work sa regional areas? technical/mechanical field of work...

    ynnozki, If I may, the whole SA is considered regional. and if you go thru the 489 path, you are allowed to work and live anywhere in SA but its a provisional visa for 4 yrs , meaning you wont be able to get the benefits of 190 or PR status. After 1 year naman pwede ka mag apply for a PR, when u gained enough points. Hope this helps.

    Panawagan lang sa mga bago, or padating or sa naghahanap ng tirahan. We have 1 bedroom available for $75/week (bills excluded siempre), male only. It's a shared house with me and Indian as your housemates, wag choosy ha? lol. Its location is just across the bus stop 21 along Prospect Road, Kilburn, 15 mins bus travel to the city. The house is kinda old but CLEAN. Yup malinis mga pre, kasi may weekly schedule for cleaning.

    From Philippines to AU I think it depends on how much you want to transfer to AU, talk to your bank in Pinas. I remember just withdrawing it thru my BDO debit card at ATM here in SA.

    I prefer big banks like Commonwealth and ANZ since madami sila ATM wherever in Australia.
