    Guys, I would like to raise a question at kung naitanong na po to sana paki paste na lang un,link kung san ko makikita. Anyway got my visa yesterday at tinitignan namen ng wiife ko ung exit requirements and we got stuck sa POEA. Our visa is Independent Skilled Migration (so walang employer invlove) do we still need to secure thie POEA requirement? Kasi if not PDOS na lang talaga ang kailangan namen.

    @RepotSirc not really sure sa differences sa price pero sa IOM they offer 40kg for first time migrants...yun yung difference na nakita ko...sa iba kse, hindi sagad ang 40k kahit sa PAL pa...30k lang ata plus you have to pay for the baggage pa ha...then, direct flight ata inooffer ng IOM so malamang Qantas Airways lang...

    sa ngayon, nag-o-offer ang PAL ng mga promo fares nila to Sydney and as regards pricing, mukhang hindi naman nagkakalayo (the last time i checked ha).

    For me kse, since first time migrant ako and soloista pa, i opted IOM kse firstly, sa 40kg na baggage allow. and secondly, direct ang flight... though baka nga may kamahalan pero willing to pay the extra cost for safety and comfy :D

    print your visa grant letter from your CO..
    yup I agree ....just print your grant letter..un lang din ginawa namin...kasi sa OZ immigration meron na yt sila list sa data base nila eh kaya kahit grant letter di kami hinanapan...sabi lang namin initial entry namin for our visa...tapos ok na :-)

    i'm sorry sis @peach17, ngayon ko lang napansin na may question ka pala sakin dati… i'll answer na lang to help others who are planning to ship their things… DHL - around 8k pesos ang jumbo box nila. 12 kilos lang sken, but sa brother ko 9k binayad nung inabot ng 26 kilos ung sa kanya last June. dumating naman kagad after 3 days sa Sydney.

    Me and my wife received our visas last nov 01, eh gusto umalis na agad ng wife ko this december. Pwde ba na mauna ang wife (na secondary application) ko na umalis? Then susunod na lang aku (aku maing applicant) after 3 months cguro?

    @RepotSirc I think this depends on the visa condition that you can see on your grant letter, if it says NIL then the secondary can go to au prior to the main applicant. Hope it helps. Thanks!
