    Hi Kindred! Thanks for checking in. Honestly, hindi ko alam kung ano na ang itsura ng status namin. Kasi we have a MARA Agent doing the work for us. So siya lang nakakakita ng mga kaganapan. Pero on a high level, we're basically just waiting for a CO now kasi tapos na namin lahat ng requirements (medicals, NBI, payslips, etc). I hope to get a visa soon as well para early 2014 sana makaalis na. My current company is a big company in Sydney and I'm hoping to leverage my current employment to get a guaranteed role in Sydney. So the sooner, the better talaga sana. :)

    Hi Guys! Back from holiday sa Sydney. Naka Leave kasi si Misis kaya sinamantala na namin na pumunta ng Sydney. To all na magmmigrate sa Sydney, its a nice big and busy city, u will love it for sure, pero my heart is still with Brisbane. This is our home na tlga. (SUN+BEACHES) TSk Tsk.

    Anyways, just to update u guys with my application. "Received" na mga documents ko dated 31/10/2013. and No Health EXam required na din ang naka post sa ibaba ng EVISA page. Thank God whatever it does mean. NBI clearance na sa FEDEX pa, expekting it today and Australian Federal Police Clearance, wala pa ung sa akin, ung kay misis dumating na. Form 80, to be uploaded soon. (Tinamad ako magFill up the past few days).

    And also I'm about to start to work as a Nurse sa Tuesday.... Weeeee... Got an job offer 1 week ago.Thank God again.

    yeah. pinakuha na lahat. pati medicals. so basically, kumpleto na talaga kami ng partner ko sa lahat ng requirements. provided 4 years worth of payslips pati 4 years na ITR rin.

    I was contacted before by Visas Simply. Indian yung agent na kausap ko. Well, we considered using them, kaso I backed I for a 3 reasons:

    1. If overseas ang contact, mahirap mag coordinate.
    2. Malayo ang office nila dito sa Manila. Nasa may Greenhills. I'm from Makati.
    3. Nakulitan ako don sa Indian na kausap ko. hehe.

    I used a different agency instead. One that is very close to where I live (walking distance). So far, so good. No complaints. We're waiting for CO na after less than 6 months processing.

    Regarding Australian study quals, I think it doesn't distinguish between studies relevant to nominated occ or not. Rather, the courses must be included in those that should have been registered or recognIzed:
    (BOOKLET 6)
    points for Australian study
    At the time of invitation to apply for a visa Points
    You have completed one or more degrees, diplomas or trade qualifications for award by an Australian educational institution as a result of a course or courses:
    • that are registered courses;
    • that were completed in a total of at least 16 calendar months;
    • that were completed as a result of a total of at least 2 academic years study;
    • for which all instruction was conducted in English; and
    • that you undertook while in Australia as the holder of a visa authorising you to study.
    5 pts.

    Anyway, was it something you claimed in your EOI? Perhaps you double check at DIBP website for registered courses to make you feel better.

    Hi Po .. Ask ko lang po may agency po kami sa pinas dati pa last 2010 nagpa assess na po kami dati and approve na po pero di na po nag pushtru kasi kulang mg .5 nakuha IELTS and tinamad na in short.

    My wife course is BS Accountancy at St Paul Manila and for 4 years Accounting related work nya but in 6 years IT Business Analyst na sya so kailagan mag pa assess nanaman kami sa ACS...

    She needs to fillup a RPL to justify here experience in IT field... below image is the only IT skills related na pasok na pasok sa job description nya.. Would this be enough kaya po?
