@ringo kami bumili din dito, yung iba second-hand ko nabili. Mas hassle kase for me na magpaship pa ng gamit. hehehe Also, di naman ganon kaganda mga gamit namin sa Pinas kaya mas ok skn na dito bumili and ung mga ok na quality for bigger appliances (like ref). May mga nagbigay lang din kase sa amin ng mga gamit. hehehe Pero yeap, medyo malaking gastos pa rin kahit karamihan ay second-hand or bigay lang... Ok ata sa fantastic furniture/ikea for starters pero un nga, hindi sya pangmatagalan na gamit. hehehe

I am still waiting for the TFN before going to the bank to submit my TFN and input my ATM pin. Tinatamad akong pabalik balik kaya saka na yung ATM pin, hehehe.

I am aiming to master the RTA Practice Online Exam and actual driving so I could get a driver's license instead of applying for the RTA Photo ID which costs $40+.

okay ba tong plans ko? hehe

Ano yang RTA Practice Online Exam sis @nalooka?
Dito ka ba sa Sydney? 1 week na kami dito sis... ang lamig hehehe

Hi guys,

Ngayon lang uit ako nka log, mejo naging busy since umalis ng pinas and dumating. My family and I left pinas last Nov 5... so mga 1 week na kami dito.

We are currently on a sharing accommodation and may nakita na din kami place for us na we can move this weekend.

I would just like to ask kung may mga donation kayo jan na pde nmen magamit for the meantime, sala set, dining set, ref, tv, etc.. anything will do. Dito kami sa west, my friend has a trailer that we could use. Thanks.

Question po para sa mga nasa Melbourne, we landed a few days ago and would like to know how to register for Medicare and Centerlink, We are a family of three (Me, wife and 3 y/o daughter). So far nakapagregister na ko for TFN and completed the identification process for my bank account. Anything else I needed? Thank you very much sa lahat ng magrereply. Cheers!

sa mga PR granted visa po, ask ko lang meron kasi nakapagsabi sa akin yung mga new migrants meron daw po makukuha a few thousand dollars for the family to start up in AU. Di ko lang po ano tawag dito or kung totoo po ito. Salamat po sa mga makapagshare

And almost all the things that I was able to get are hand-me-downs from filipinos here. ref and washing machine na lang ang bilin kong mjo immediate.

meron pong payments on rent and some assistance but not pag dating nyo dito e bibigyan kayo ng pera

@rguez06 I think kelangan nyo muna unahin mag-open ng bank account kase hihingiin yan sa medicare and centrelink applications. Pati pala TFN mag-apply na rin kayo (online lang ito). Kase better if nakadeclare ang TFN sa bank account para less tax ata.

Yung pag-open ng bank account ung iba nagagawa nila online, pero ako nagpunta na lang ako mismo sa bank. Yung sa medicare and centrelink alam ko kelangan tlga personally magsubmit, kasama ung mga documents na nirrequire. check nyo ung requirements sa medicare and centrelink websites.

Sir, you don't need a TFN para maka-enrol sa medicare...

First stop namin ito ang medicare when we arrive 7 months back; ang kailangan lang is a proof of your immigrant status and your bank details where they can credit any reimbursement if you use your medicare.

Mga sirs/ma'ams, ask ko lang po kung sino po nag avail ng sim only mobile broadband.? I'm planning to bring my pocket wifi router, sim na,ang po kunin ko.. Tsaka na po kami mag broadband pagnakalipat na po kami to our own rented place. So far I've narrowed my choices to optus or amaysim (optus rider). Anyone here can give feedback on the reliability and speed? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Tia

Yan din po inaayos ko ngayon. Sa Aselaide kasi kami so walang citibank. Yung comminwealth bank naman hindi daw maka assist ung branch sa SG kasi di daw sila retail bank. 3 pa options ko, anz, nab and hsbc. On the process ko pa silang kinakausap
