  @chefin Hi!Ok naman daw po yung buhay dun sabi ng officemate ko. Marami na rin daw mga pinoys dun na willing to help new migrants that come there. Sabi kasi nung officemate ko wala daw silang kakilala nung dumating sila dun. maraming tumulong daw sa kanila when they are starting there ngayon for PR application na sila. 475 visa po kasi yung sa kanila nung una.   Mas laid back lang daw yung buhay sa TAS kasi medyo isolated sya sa other staes of Oz. Medyo mababa din daw yung cost of living dun unlike sa Melbourne.

  @k_mavs mas maganda para sakin ung hindi populated na area. kame dito sa sg sa pasir ris kame nakatira, end ng green line. but hindi populated at feel mo talaga nakakapahinga ka kesa sa city. na paguwi mo puro offices parin nakikita mo hehe - just my opinion.

  haha.. hindi nmn sguro mala-freezer sa hobart.. mala-cooler lang.. ayon kay wiki, average 8-16 degC.. so parang nasa baguio lang..

  Exaggerated lang but seriously in one report I read, Hobart umabot minsan ng -2C sa winter but then that is warm enough compared dito na umaabot ng -25C

  haist... im trying to read all the skills selected sa ibat ibang state ng aussie but sa tasmania ang gawi ko sila lang kasi ung may skills para sa graphic designer ugh.. but i read na dapat aral muna bago apply? tama ba @-) even i have relative sa australia.. im trying to be independent ano kaya gagawin ko pa help naman sa first step. im trying to apply in 190? tama ba ang decision ko or not?

  Hi @renjo, research centre sa Hobart yung Menzies. Majority health researches. Buti ka nga may visa ka na. Good for you. Ako aayusin pa lang visa ko pagbalik ko sa Pinas. Pero ok naman yung employer ko sa Adelaide. Training lang dapat tapos they offered me a job. Swerte na rin kahit paano.

  @Nadine. I'm here in Hobart for almost two years na. Contrary sa akala ng iba, dami pong Pinoy dito. There are two Filipino community groups dito at masaya naman ang pamumuhay dito sa Tassie, maliit lang at mura ang rent ng bahay. Medyo malamig lalo ngayon may snow sa Mt. Wellington at ibang mga higher altitude na lugar. Di naman masyadong province, pero di din cya big city tama lang, walang traffic, madami din restaurants at ibang mapupuntahan na magkakalapit lang.

  Wala pa namang definite sakin. Baka hindi rin ako matuloy. Pero maganda kasi ang rotations at benefits na binibigay nila. Mas may chance for PR. At less competition pati from locals dahil konti pa ang tao. Maganda yung long-term, kung kaya ko ang lamig.
  
  Matanong ko lang po, yung Royal Hobart, yun na po ba ang pinaka major hospital ng state?
