sa akin din walang nakalagay kung saang group. baka talagang hindi na nilalagay ngayon? nakalagay lang kasi sa akin na suitable at comparable to AQF Bachelor Degree. naka-list din yung mga work experience duration. yun lang ang nakalagay. para saan po ba yung group?

i see. btw guys, will it matter? ngayon ko lng ksi nakita yung nilagay pala na no. ng signatory sa employment reference parehas lng sa company no. dun din naman ksi malapit sa office nya yung phone.

Recently, hindi na indicated yung group category sa result letter. Malalaman mo na lang dahil sa indicated qualification. Mine is AQF Advance Diploma with 5 years experience, so nasa Group B ako.

In other news, beginning May 28, 2012, paper copies will no longer be required to be posted to the ACS with Online Applications.

And to think dalawang beses akong nag-send ng documents sa kanila via express courier (humingi sila ng stamped copy ng same COE after ko mag-send ng una), which was not cheap. Buti na lang pumasa lahat nang sinubmit ko.

@kikay : makikita po yung description dun sa Skills Assessment Guidlines for Applicants document sa ACS website. Paste ko na rin po dito yung nakasulat:

6.1 ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
Suitable skills assessments fall into three (3) distinct groupings.
1. Group A - refers to application type “Skills” on the application form. This application is for applicants with a Bachelor Degree or higher, with an ICT major and ICT skilled employment.
2. Group B - refers to application type “Skills” on the application form. This application is for applicants with a Diploma or Bachelor Degree, with a minor in ICT and ICT skilled employment.
3. Group C - refers to application type “Recent Graduate” on the application form. This application is for Recent Graduates of an Australian University for skilled employment exemption under the Australian study requirement. Applicants require a tertiary qualification of Bachelor or higher obtained in Australia or overseas, with an ICT major closely related to the nominated occupation ANZSCO code. The result letter will report the applicant's ICT educational qualifications suitability to the nominated occupation ANZSCO code for Points Test and skilled migration purposes.

Hello po. Question lang po... meron po bang maitutulong ang ACS assessment in terms of looking for work? The reason why i asked is because currently, we already have 70 points. We want to claim partner skills point para 75, but if wala naman benefit na makukuha from ACS (again in terms of looking for work) balak sana namen wag na magpaassess ang hubby ko, sayang lang sa pera. pero kung makakatulong naman sa paghahanap ng work, hindi na namen panghihinayangan magapply pa sha.

@ktp - consider the timing also.. if you will apply for ACS, aabot pa ba ang result ng assessment if you want to submit/lodge sa DIAC before July 1?

if ever magpa-assess sya, i believe mas priority kayo ng DIAC dhil mas mataas ang points nyo..
but im not sure though kung hinahanap ang assessment sa pag-hanap ng work..

@lock_code2004 salamat po sa response. Well there's a higher chance naman po na aabot ung ACS before Jul 1. Actually po, target namen to submit by first week of May. I have applied VIC SS, at the same time. So hopefully den, makuha namen ung results before May; if not, then 175 na po apply namen.

Do points really matter in terms of priority in processing applications? Please correct me if I'm wrong po...But as far as i understand, the prioritization of processing application is dependent on the time you lodge your application and not whether you have 65 points or higher.. kumbaga, first come first serve...ewan ko po, ganun po kase ung pagkakaintindi ko... maybe you can enlighten me on that part po. Kase po if DIAC will prioritize our application on the sole basis that our points are higher, magpapa ACS na lang po kame...

@KTP Yung points hindi pa sya nagmmatter before July 2012. pero once in effect na yung Skills Select starting July, dun na magkakaroon ng prioritization. :-) Kaya if may sufficient points ka na, I suggest mag-apply na kayo agad kase with the new policy, uunahin muna yung mga may matataas na points. Naiisip ko dito yung mga nag-aral and may work experience na sa AU mismo. tska hindi na pde basta basta maglodge ng application, unless you already got an Invitation from DIAC. Bale ung process:
Expression of Interest submitted to DIAC --> your EOI will be in their DB --> DIAC will first assess those that have the highest points then check if your skill is very much in demand in AU. --> DIAC will invite you to apply for a visa.

Wala po maitutulong ang positive skills assessment sa pagkuha ng work sa Oz since in the first place ang purpose lang naman nya is to meet state sponsorship and DIAC requirements.

hello guys. May tanong po ako ulit. As I was rechecking my documents, may nakita po akong inconsistency. Hindi pala magkatugma yung job titles sa COE ko at payslips. Hiningi ko kasi sa manager namin na gawing specific yung job title based sa duties at responsibilities ko (xxxx Software Engineer) at inapprove naman nila. Ngayon, yung sa payslips pala, Software Developer yung nakalagay. Magkakaproblema kaya ako nito? Or kailangan ko pa bang i submit yung mga payslips? Please help. Tnx

@kikay - nagsubmit lang po ako online. When i was filling out the form, nanghingi sila ng amount na kaya kong dalahin but i was not asked to submit any proofs or bank statements

@lock_code2004 - sabi nga nila it takes around 12 weeks. If lumabas ang results by first week of may, mag 176 kame if not first week of may mag 175 na lang kame... Im really hoping na magiging mabilis processing nila due to diac changes that will take effect on july 1...

Hi guys. Additional question po. Do you think may bearing yung isesend ko na COE for an on-IT job I had previously? Iniisip ko kasi baka maging negative pa ang effect nito sa assessment. Thanks. Sana po may makasagot nito at yung question ko sa taas.

Good luck with the Vic SS po.

Why not try NSW SS po? 3-4 weeks lang sila. Although may bayad. Ganyan din po diskarte ko, if matagalan, lodge ko na as 175. Although sana makapag-176 route para mas mabilis.

Hello maganda hapon po sa lahat.. Gusto ko po sanang mag pa assess sa ACS ...9 yrs na po akong Systems Analyst. Nagstart na po akong mag gather ng documents para makahabol pa kaso medyo na alarm ako sa sabi ng ACS about dito:

On 1 July 2012, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) will introduce changes to Australian migration via the SkillSelect implementation.

All ICT Skills Assessment applications submitted to the ACS before 27 April 2012 that are decision ready will be guaranteed to receive a result letter before 1 July 2012.

Applications must be decision ready by having all documentation submitted in the correct format and meet the Skills Assessment Guidelines requirements.

Skills Assessment application requiring further information or documentation will be processed ASAP but cannot be guaranteed to be finalised before 1 July 2012.

Hello newbie here! well informed tong forum na to and thumbs up!

may mga dilemma ako sa pag apply ng ACS sa australia... eto list down ko na..

Actually more than 10 years na yung work experience ko overall 2 years plus sa Philippines and 10 years na sa abroad.. straight sa isang company....

Question ko regarding Employee Certificates..

Una, meron akong copy sa previous employers ko but the problem is di naman nakalagay ang Job Description dun? Certificate of employment lang talaga sya.. andun yung position ko at duration ng work.

Currently working ako sa company na to as an IT for 10 years straight...from IT Admin to IT Manager... all around din ako dito business analyst/programmer/analyst/database admin/Network Admin.. jack of all trades.....

ok lang ba na wag ng isama yung sa Pilipinas at current job na lang ang ilagay ko?

and eto pa...since wala ako sa Pilipinas...yung Diploma at transcript.... pero meron akong copy ng diploma at transcript ko na may tatak na Certified True Copy ang problema yung certified copy na yun ay para sa bansa dito na may mga tatak ng foreign affairs.... ok lang ba na photocopy ko na lang in coloured at yun ang submit ko?

But the original diploma and transcript eh nasa akin din... pwedeng photocopy ko na lang yun then pa notarized ko sa Phil. Embassy?

sa ngayon eto lang muna yung queries ko... thanks sa mga sasagot! will appreciate it..

@the_BuGS hindi na irreturn ng acs ung documents na sinubmit mo sa knila. not sure lng if it will matterkung di mo nideclare lahat ng work experience mo, so long as ung nireferencemo is related sa innominate mong occupation... regarding ctc, i suggest pa-notarize mo ung documents pa rin afterng colored photocopy.. ung mga requirements na you wont be able to secure, better sana if may stat declaration...

@bmc_cpu not sure if may bearing yun pag nimention mo pa non-IT work mo... bsta sa tingin ko as long as nameet mo ung minimum number of years sa relevant work experience mo, that should be fine..

actually nag pa-assess ako dito para sa work experience.. halos na cover ko daw lahat ng IT related since naging jack of all trades nga ako... pero more on sofware developer/analyst ako as my previous work sa Phil. but here sa company na pinagtratrabahuhan ko ngayon eh for the past 10 years eh halos lahat lahat na.. besides sa developing ng IN-House software with Oracle DB as backend.. ako pa ang nag analyze ng business needs and process.. helping other departments paggawa ng business process at flowcharts.. at ako pa ang gumagawa ng design ng network security policies,routing ng mga network appliances namin.... haaist........ then admin pa ng windows servers...
