Guys, I got my IELTS scores just now:

L=8.5
R=9
W=7.5
S=8.5

I wanted an 8 for all sections sana para sa points, so I'm thinking na magpa-remark. Worth kaya na magpa-remark? May mga success stories po ba for remarking? Please help me guys to decide. (T.T) Thank you po!

    Written can be remarked as this was subjective grading naman...

    Pero ang tanong is, do you really need the points ba? If you already have 65 and wala sa magic 6 yung nominated occupation mo, then di needed ang additional points.

    Wala naman po sa 6 yung occupation ko pero kung di po maging 8 yung writing ko, kulang po talaga ako ng points... Should I push through with the remarking po kaya? Mas mura po kasi siya than retaking...

    I had a successful experience sa EOR. try to review tha band score descriptors and if you think kaya ng writing mo yung 8 then you should go ahead..so currently 55 ka without SS?

    @Jem108 nagparemark ako dati ok naman... pero kelangan confident ka talaga na magbabago score mo after remarking... pero kung yan lang talaga ang choice mo para addl pts... then go for it.

    I just got my remarked writing results a couple of days ago. Writing was re-scored band 8.5 from 7.5. It only took 4weeks for it to come out. =)I suggest go for it!

    Thank you po for bringing up SS. I thought kukulangin po talaga kung hindi maging 8 ang IELTS ko pero chineck ko na po now and it looks like I can get 60 points with SS. Yehey!!!

    Congrats!!! Though pwede na ngang hindi magpa-remark pero dahil sa sinabi mo, nagkalakas ako ng loob na i-try nga! Thank you! I-check ko muna ulit yung writing criteria...

    hi all! still torn din if remark or retake si hubby sa writing.
    confident sya yun pinakamataas nya e, kaso yun pa naging dealbreaker :(
    ang prob nga lang 178 slots na lang available sa occupation code nya, hinahabol namin yun, by Dec18 na expected result sa ACS. sana maka-EOI kami agad by then. ang sabi 6-8wks pa result nun if mag-EOR, so by Jan20 expected na balik ng remark result kung sakali... pro sana tulad ni @gmad06 kaya ng 4wks.
    hi @gmad06, IDP or BC Phil ka po?

    bihira lng kasi kagaya mo na naghahabol ng band 8.0..sa mga academic occupation lng yun nirequire...but pls do the requirements for SS pertaining sa job code mo

    make sure na may SS pa... the last I check nakahold ang SS for all states for certain job codes.

    @silver_ice me too confident sa writing ko and listening aq kinakabahan but the result is really the opposite. Sa listening aq pinakamataas and writing mababa. Got L-8 R-7.5 W-6.0 S-7.5
    im holding into the very slim chance na maging 7 ung writing ko. nainspire aq sa case ni @vinpack from 7.5 nging 8.5 although alam q suntok sa buwan ung chance ng sakin. :)

    @vhiancey San part ka po mey 6.5? Sa Listening and Reading, unlikely kasi objective un mga sagot dun unlike writing and speaking, subjective yun.. If you feel confident sa writing or speaking and you deserve more, and you have the time (6-8weeks remarking) and money, Go for it! pag mey habol ka na time, retake ka na lang ulit.

    Pinagiisipan din namin kung magretake o remark. 6.5 sa Speaking at Writing. Parang risky sa remarking kasi kung isa lang ang magbago, wala ng refund tapos zero points pa din. Tsk.

    Dito lang sa Pinas sir @Stidleyfied. Retake na lang tsaka magenroll na din sa review center para hopefully last retake na yung susunod hehe..
