i tried searching online for SAP SD jobs pero wala maxado opportunities.. nakakapanghina ng loob... ngayon nag iisip ako kung anong mga trainings kelangan ko kunin para naman maging marketable sa oz... anyone here knows any SAP SD openings?

@cchamyl, tama ka po medyo bihira dto ang SAP openings....as far as I know bihira yata ang companies na nagamit ng SAP. And kung ung application ay mfng, medyo pawala na kc ung mfng dto. Kung meron man iilan companies na ngamit ng SAP mga MNCs cguro since mahal mag-implement neto as ERP system. Ours is using SAP kc German Automotive company sya, pero sa automotive mfng industry dto parang kami lang yata at Holden ang nagamit ng SAP. Mostly ng suppliers nmin ay ibang system ang gamit, ung iba nga excel lang eh so medyo hirap kami mag implement ng EDI kc ndi cla SAP capable.

Realistically speaking how much po need n net monthly salary to survive as in yung fair even.......and if there are Civil Engr out there magkano po ung initial offer s inyo...thanks in advance!God Bless and hope for the Best in our OZ dream!

Meron pong range talaga ng salary sa Au.. CE din kami ni hubby.. nag apply ako on behalf kay sa hubby na parehas mo rin halos ng yrs of experience na kasing edad mo at ka bday na rin halos..

1 day lang pagitan.

PR na kami sa AU.. pero nasa SG parin kami. Nag start na ako job hunting since last month kaso No Feedback. Sad to say..

Sabi ng mga friends namin sa Au, sa salary daw my range talaga cla as declare by the govt.

Pero sa au ala talaga.. Knowing na AU address and Au number gamit namin.. so ang alam nila nasa au kami.. Oh my G!!! Not a good sign..

Anyway, my tumawag pala isa lang.. kaso urgent na urgent pa..

Comment lang ako... Kelangan tlga andito na kayo pag nagapply ng work.. hehehe Kase ung mga job posting dito, pag qualified kayo, kelangan nyo rin magstart ASAP. kaya preferred ng recruiters na andito na kayo sa Australia. Masyadong risky for them to sell you to the employers tapos hindi pa pala resigned from current job post.. Medyo mahirap nga lang tlga kase lakasan ng loob and of course iggive up ung current career nyo... Unless na lang super niche market ung skill nyo and wala masyado sa Australia non. Ang problem kase syempre marami na rin competition.. So syempre mas pipiliin nila sinong readily available.. Yun lang napansin ko based from my experience sa job hunt.

one year before kami lumipat dito, nagaapply na ako offshore from Pinas. Sa lahat ng naapplyan ko, 1 interview lang ang nakuha ko, tapos overqualified pa raw ako.. Everything else either rejection/no response or hanggang sa recruiter lang ako...

@rachelle_gan2 2 months before ako nakakuha ng una kong job. Contractor role lang din ito. Yung una kong job, 4 mos na contract lang kase, tapos nagresign ako from that nung may nag-offer ng 1 year. hehehe nakakatawa nga kase ung una kong job sa Melbourne, naaccept ako while I'm in Sydney. Tapos etong job ko ngayon sa Sydney, naaccept ako while I was in Melbourne. So phone and skype interviews lang un. Super breakthrough and right timing kase I was about to get some odd jobs na. hehehe And sakto biglang may nagoffer ng work. Kasama ko pa non baby namin na 2 years old, so kelangan ko pa isort out ung childcare. Yung husband ko kase nasa PH pa non to finish his job post.

Yung kaibigan ko nga na IT rin, around 2-3 mos din before he landed a job, 2-month contract nung una then naging full-time permanent kase nagustuhan sya ng boss and client nila.. Sabi nga nya, tlga raw kelangang may igive up for Australia. hehehe In the truest sense, yes, marami ka tlga iggive up. And dapat prepared in all aspects, mentally, emotionally, financially, physically and spiritually. Yung iba nga preferred nila not to take a job muna and incorporate themselves with the culture and the environment (and travel na rin), while also fixing their driver's licence. hehehe Mahirap kase tlga, adjustment in ALL aspects. Work is just one part of it.

Yup tlgang risky sa simula kaya need din to prepare for the baon and sabi nga ng iba dito, dapat willing to take any kind of job sa simula... Pero for example may kids naman kyo, pde kayo apply sa centrelink to get an allowance. I understand how you are all feeling, scary tlga sa simula especially nakakadiscourage pag puro rejections/deadma lang ang nakukuha mong response sa mga inapplyan mo. Pero that is where you see how God will move in your life. Yung iba dito nakakuha sila odd jobs and after one year pa sila nakakuha ng professional work na tlgang gusto nila. Yung iba naman nagsettle na sa hindi corporate work kase okay naman ang pay. Sobrang blessed nga dito ng mga galing Singapore and other countries other than PH heheh for the fact na mas malaki ang pde nyong dalhing baon.

Kami po maliit lang ang baon namin and wala naman kaming property na nainvest pa... Kaya tlgang lakasan ng loob lang dito sa Australia. hehe Pero yeap may true stories din na nahirapan maghanap ng work pero yun nga, sabi ng mga Aussie-pinoy na kilala ko, maraming trabaho dito sa Australia, wag lang mapili. Keep an open-mind lang. Dito kase hindi naman minamaliit ung mga trabaho for example ng cleaner or waiter. Pantay-pantay lahat

Tska what is important (for those that are married/with families), dapat same kayo ng spouse nyo sa decision/choices and stick to it no matter what. Mahirap kase if magkaiba... Bka pag-awayan pa yun pagdating dito. hehehe

Di pa ako start mag-apply. Nasa SG rin ako - going to AU in January. Wala pa man, kinakabahan na ako. :-S

@stolich18 thank you for sharing your experience.. yes, dapat talaga buo ang loob mo na pumunta diyan. Prep ko na sarili ko na target ko odd job muna to minimize spending baon, pag medyo settled na, tsaka hanap ng job na talagang gusto ko or based din sa dati kong work. My friend's tita who lives there also suggested to do volunteer work to gain local experience, in case I would also have a hard time looking for odd jobs.
