    Hi all!

For clarification please. Ano-anong documents po ang dapat naming ipa-photocopy and/or notarize before arriving in Australia, or if needed ba talaga? Read somewhere here na free ang notarization sa Justice of Peace but for all States po kaya? Per @jayp, no need re child's immunization record. How about the following po:
    1. Driver's License
    2. Birth Certificates
    3. Marriage Certificate
    4. IDs
    5. College/University Diplomas
    6. College/University Transcript of Records
    7. Passports

Please share if I missed any or what among the above ang necessary pa to notarize here in Pinas or pagdating na lang sa Australia. Salamat po.

    @hard2handle

share ko lang yung mga nagawa ko bago lumipad papunta Au

    1. Driver's license - mag expire next year yung sa amin ng wife pero nag avail kami ng advance renewal by presenting yung copies of visa at plane namin sa LTO. Bale ngayon, up to 2017 ang validity ng Phil. driver's licenses namin.
    2. Birth Certificates - actually meron na kami NSO copies, yung ginamit namin sa Visa Application pero kumuha ulit ako ng new copies sa NSO last month. Para lang meron extra copies.
    5. College diplomas - dala din namin
    6. Transcript of records - check din po
    7. Passports - check
    8. Visa grant notice - check
    9. Plane tickets - check
    10. Certificate of Employment - kumuha ako bago mag-resign

No need na. If ever, kailangan lang ipa-certify lang yung mga photocopies nito as certified true copy. Pwede na kahit sa Au na tayo magpa-certify.

Guys, ask ko lang po. probably a stupid question, but did you guys cancel all your local credit cards (ie. BPI, Metrobank) before leaving PH? Or may silbi ba in terms of livelihood checks ang makitang may active credit card ang migrant sa home country nila? I'd like to know before I formally cancel my credit card. sayang din if may use pa siya if ever.

Another question, if you could answer as well.

I'm bringing in USD as pocket money. I'm wondering if there is higher purchasing power to exchange USD to AUD in AUSTRALIA na vs. exchanging USD to AUD in MANILA and just bring over actual AUD? Basically, may difference ba in terms of value where I exchange my USD?

If none, would you suggest to just exchange my USD to AUD here in Manila if only for the convenience?

    Thanks again!

Better if you bring AUD .... pag pinapalitan mo dito USD mo talo ka na sa forex .. meron pa silang FEE na ibabawas ...

If I were you have it exchanged there
Thanks again. Para lang hindi ako confused, "dito" means AU and "there" means Manila?

    great advice!

Another advice po pala that I need. I'll be bringing US Dollars for pocket money. I'm wondering if it makes better sense to exchange US Dollars in AU vs exchanging US Dollars to AU in PH.

Is there a difference in purchasing power since USD is higher than AUD or it really makes no difference?

If it makes no difference, then does it follow that it makes more sense to exchange USD to AUD here in Manila for convenience?

    Thanks

Or may silbi ba in terms of livelihood checks ang makitang may active credit card ang migrant sa home country nila? I'd like to know before I formally cancel my credit card. sayang din if may use pa siya if ever.
