@itchworking - I think the only thing you can do is wait for July 2014 and hope that states would open their doors again for SysAd. If ever hindi sya mag open, you could opt for another ACS assessment on a different ANZSCO that is closely related to your current work. Ako kasi dati, may 3 options ako. Pwede ako pa assess as Analyst Programmer, Developer Programmer or Web Developer.

For State and Territory Government nominated visas, a State or Territory Government will not be able to nominate you if your nominated occupation has reached its occupation ceiling. For clients with an Expression of Interest in occupational groups which have reached their ceiling, please note that Expressions of Interests remain valid for two years from the date of submission.

Don't lose hope! Try to check other options baka may related anzsco code sa occupation mo aside from BA.

Hello po! share ko lang po yung experience ko about ACS assessment. hingi lang po ako ng advise if anyone got the same result as I did. Nagpaassess ko ako ng qualification last Nov 20 and got a fovorable outcome however yung bachelors degree ko, i got an equivalent AQF bachelors degree with minor in computing in turn, may inomit na 5yrs sa work experience ko. Graduate po ako ng ECE sa Mapua Institute of technology. so based sa computation ko sa skill select, wala na akong magiging points sa work experience since 3 years ang minimum sa skill select. Meron po ba dito ng same experience sa akin? and ano po yung ginawa nyo moving forward? balak ko kasi mag apply ng appeal since yung mga kakilala ko is ECE graduate din pero sa ibang school, same kami ng inapplyan which is ANZSCO 263111. thank you po in advance

@ winzky same thing na kinakatakot ko mangyari sa assessment ko and for sure should be a fear of the rest as well. ang ma zero ang points sa work experience dahil sa deduction ay talagang panira. prayers pa din na may ma workout pa.

for me ang nahanda at naisip ko na diyan na approach in advance ay (1) re-appeal and (2) serve the remaining years na kulang para mabuo ang 3 years.

wait din ng tips sa mga taga mapua with same course and anzco code wit you.

@cavalier18 bro, i think meron pa din chancs. i read from a MARA agent na ang technique daw ng iba niyang clients for those na closed na ceiling is continue to seek potential employers. if we can show daw na ok na acs assessment at ielts tapos eoi na, merong chance na ma.entertain kasi konti na lang kulang sa process. i think ito gagawin ko paglabas acs results. good luck sa atin!

@winzky got a friend with the same scenario as you, ACS deducted 5 years from his experience so wala rin syang na claim na point for work, ilan points kulang mo? if 5 lang you can try VIC SS, my friend did and got a positive response from VIC so nakalodge na sya and currently waiting for CO - Check this thread http://www.pinoyau.info/discussion/276/victoria-state-sponsorship#latest, and checkout my friends timeline his handle is @penski516

@iamfi actually 6 years, I submitted 6yrs and 9mos W.experience. akala ko kasi nung una walang mababawas na years sa experience, late ko na narealize ung assessment guidelines ng ACS. If yung school mo is accredited ng ACS or AUS educational institution wala ng work experience na kelangan in which wala namang kahit anong school sa Pinas na accredited. Kapag naqualify ung Bachelors degree mo into into major in ICT 4yrs i ommit sa W.E mo pag minor naman is 6yrs. you can submit any certifications pero maqualify lang cya as AQF diploma in which BS degree pa rin ang kukunin. check this out for more info

I guess yung 3yrs W.E mo, kukulangin pa rin para maging suitable ka for migration. you can try sa Engineers Australia, kasi may mga kakilala ako na walang nabawas sa W.E nila, nacredit lahat yun nga lang gagawa ka nung essay type. Goodluck!

@magoo_z oo nga po, actually if your work experience might have the same equivalent descriptions in Engineers Australia. I would suggest doon ka na lang mag pa assess since wala ata sila nung work experience requirement unlike sa ACS na konti nga lang ang hinihingi pero drawback naman sa W.E.

@winzky i answered your question dun sa kabilang post mo on how I went about the ACS deeming dates leaving me 0 points for XP... Victoria state sponsorship yung source ng lacking 5 points ko and nakuha ko lang din yung idea sa kaibigan kong si @rquez06

Like you, I also aimed at an IELTS 8 and even enrolled sa niners para dun hehe. but fortunately, I received an invite through VIC SS already. ECE din ako from section 1 school but my ANSZCO code is 261311 (Analyst Programmer) and ACS shaved 4 years worth of IT experience from my 6 years total IT exp.

Scores ko before remark L8.5, R7, W7.5, S6.5. Naparemark ko ung speaking ko to 7 and may refund.

hi lexxus! computer engineering, nasa section 2 school ko. ganito sabi:

"Your Bachelor of Science (Computer Engineering) from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila completed April 200x has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing"

Ask ko lang guys, ganito kasi sabi sa kin:

"The following employment after February 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 263212 (ICT Support Engineer)"

under ng paragraph neto yung tatlong experiences ko equivalent to 7yrs 8months. ibig sabihin ba nun related lahat ng tatlong experiences, kaya three years lang ang nacount dahil nagbabawas na sila sa years?
