    @Allysond..Bakit mo nasabi na hindi ma aapprove ung visa mo? Merong bang problem sa documents na hindi kayang e provide? Or problem sa health which u think maging reason of refuse?

Malamang one month ka pa mag stay after you grant visa kasi kailangan mo pa pumunta ng POEA at mag PDOS. Good luck and God bless cheers

    @Allysond, april 3 flight ko. hmmm, maybe this is too much pero would you still bother to tell me here kung naging okay ba flight mo on march 28? i wish you to really be okay sa paglagpas sa immigration and most especially sa life mo, what ever it will be, sa australia. im happy for anyone who will be going to australia and find their luck there, though having a visa grant is already a good news.

    @lester_lugtu for 457 dependent visa holder.
    You only need passport and copy of the visa. No need for return ticket.
    You just have to pay 1600 pesos travel tax.

    Yung wife ko eto ginawa niya, she is a 457 dependent visa holder.
    Humingi siya ng copy of my OEC (I am the primary 457 visa holder, meaning still an OFW) pinaverify sa POEA.
    at pagdating sa airport instead of P1600 yung babayaran na travel tax, pinakita lang niya yung verified photocopy of my OEC, pluss passport and her 457 dependent visa, naging P500 pesos na lang ang bianayaran niya na travel tax. :)

    @isidro023,

    thanks sa info sir. my partner as primary 457 visa holder still doesn't have his OEC kasi nag-apply sya ng 457 visa nasa australia na sya. from student visa to 457 visa. though he gave me his employment contract copy. madali lang ba lakarin ung OEC kung ako maglalakad ng OEC nya sa POEA? and yes sir "he" kasi we're in a de-facto same-sex relationship. legal sa australia un. un pa nga iniisip ko eh baka hindi maniwala immigration na mag-partner kami eh same sex kami.

    anyway sir, as per what u'v sed visa grant notice printed copy at passport lang oks na, i jst need to pay travel tax of 1600php. tama sir?

    salamat po sa info. mejo nakakahinga nako ngaun ng maluwag na baka harangin ako sa immigration sa naia.

    thank you sir.

    @lester_lugtu

    yup tama yun visa grant print copy at passport okay na.
    Regarding OEC for primary visa holder lang yun na pwede magprocess.
    so pay ka na lang ng P1600 na travel tax.
    Just to be sure dalhin mo na rin yung papers mo for de-facto same sex relationship KUNG SAKALING MAGHANAP SI IMMI NG PROOF. But passport and visa grant alone are enough.

    Yung sa akin kasi nasa Pinas pa ako nung ma grant yung 457 visa.
    Nung nasa australia na ako saka lang sumunod yung partner having a dependent 457 visa.

    I emailed POEA, it's nice nagrereply naman sila. ung unang reply kala ko electronically generated ung sagot nila saying need ko daw magacquire ng OEC from them. nung inulit ko ulit ung case ko sknla, aun nagreply na sila in tagalog hehehe. sign of relief kasi no need na daw ako magOEC since secondary lang naman ako. magbayad na lang daw ako ng travel tax sa airport at derecho na ng immigration. Sana lang tlga okay ang lahat pagdating ng immigration.

    BTW, ingat po ma'am Allysond, today po flight nyo di ba? :) i wish u all the best.

    @DreamerA. Yes, your dependents have the same work rights. Actually mas flexible sila ng konti as they aren't tied to any employer unlike the primary, they can only work under their sponsoring employer.

    @DreamerA, last year it was 1,060 AUD for primary applicant, 1,060 for dependents 18yrs and older, and 265 for dependents younger than 17 yrs and younger. Note na this is just the applicant's costs, merong cost associated with sponsoring/nominating pero I don't have any idea since yung sponsoring employer ko nag shoulder ng cost and merong MA in place to process this. Yung prinocess ko is the Subsequent Entrant Visa for my kids, since di ko sila inapply kasabay nung sakin. Nagapply ako after I got my visa which cost me more kung sinabay ko sa application ko.

    @DreamerA, from what I know and understand, yung may existing 457 visa - granted before the reform are not affected, meaning they still have all the privileges/condition of the 457 visa. The effect of the reform will take place once the 457 visa seizes and the applicant wants to re-apply for a new one. Do you have immi account? The Subsequent Entrant visa is still available for application, what I suggest is email them from within the immi site and ask them about subsequent entrant application. :) Hope this helps

    I am so grateful nabasa ko ang forum na ito. My flight with my daughter is on July 3, and was worried about not having my husbands oec. Maybayad lang pala ng tax nd terminal fee okay na. Just present the visa grant and passport. Salamat talaga. Kampante na kami sa byahe namin sa July.
