How long did it take you to get a job?

0 days. The day I broke the news that i got my Visa, I also sent out an e-mail to our office here in AU if they have an opening for me. Fortunately they had one and they offered it to me so I took it. They even paid for my airfare.

mga sirs gaano kabilis nakakakuha mga archi dito specially sa mga taga ATC?...nagsearch ako sa seek at hays andami e...lahat fit sa current job desc ko since wala pa visa atleast nakapagscout ako...

question kung may full time work kana for monday to friday pwede kaba magwork nang part time sat and sun for example starbucks barista?

or

any decent na blue collar job?...gusto ko sana magdoble kayod para maexperience ko naman...: )

nagpapakwento kasi ako sa kaklase ko na andiyan pero siyempre gusto ko pa din marining coming from sa mga taong andiyan na mismo...hahaha

lets say 4-5 years exp...usually kano nagiging sahod monthly?...ty

wala nman ako na-experience na baratan sa sweldo dto, in fact above industry average at medyo way above sa asking salary ko ung inoffer sa kin netong current company ko

and been with them for almost 3 yrs na din

take note po na ung salary range dyan ay mostly per annum exam 80k/year and before tax

at take po na malaki din yung tax dto, above 20% , but depende to sa income bracket..check mo po sa website ng ato.gov.au ung range ng tax

@faye hi new here lang ako. going to oz next month. ma-share ko lng andami ko tawag and letters hnd ko na nga alam kung alin puntahan ko pagdating dun. ang tanong positive ba impact ng ganun wala naman magconfirm kung i-hire nila ako o hindi. nakakabalisa gusto ko sana sure work kasi medyo maganda company ko dito na iiwanan.

@eronpol .. what do you mean tawag and letters? but if someone is contacting you while offshore.. this is a positive sign... kasi madami yung di man lang pinapansin ng employer or agents kasi ala pa sa AU...

ideal talaga na may work na bago punta AU.. however, this is not always the case...you really need to take the risk...

@faye hi new here lang ako. going to oz next month. ma-share ko lng andami ko tawag and letters hnd ko na nga alam kung alin puntahan ko pagdating dun. ang tanong positive ba impact ng ganun wala naman magconfirm kung i-hire nila ako o hindi. nakakabalisa gusto ko sana sure work kasi medyo maganda company ko dito na iiwanan.

Kung Headhunters/ Agents ang kausap mo wag ka muna mag padalos-dalos at hindi pa sure yan. Pero kung DIRECT sa company na yan (HR/potential boss) ka-deal mo, then pagisipan mo talaga mabuti and go for it. You're lucky at mahirap makahanap ng work outside AU.

Sa Seek halos karamihan jan mga Agents/ Headhunters kaya pag outside AU ka medyo di ka papansinin nyan unless ang skills mo is something unique (mahirap hanapin) and in-demand and kayang kaya ka nila i bargain sa clients nila. Ayaw din nila magrefer basta2 sa client(s) nila kasi baka bigla magback-out lang applicants at the last minute, also additional relocation/ processing cost pa sa clients, or unsure kung talgang decided mag AU. Ayaw nila mapahiya or masira sa clients nila. Also theres competition among these Headhunters kaya as much as possible gusto nila readily available na si applicants.

Hindi ka na dapat nagdadalawang isip. Pero sabihin mo sa kanila asikasuhin wok visa para sure tapos hingi ka relocation allowance hehe
