Question po, based on your experiences. For OFWs, which of the 2 options below is faster? Is it A or B?

    A. I'll send my application directly to Ms. Julie Macalit (or is it Sandra now?) and then have them send my clearance here in Malaysia OR

    B. Through a relative who will go to NBI United Nations, process my NBI on my behalf, get the clearance and deliver it to me.

    Thanks!

thanks @lock_code2004! I am planning to apply din kasi sa Canada.hehe. They will accept 1000 applications for each skill before they launch the Express Entry by January 2015. The cap for Computer Programmers (2174) is filling in toooo fast. By 25th of June, baka ma-reach na yung 1000 na quota and the NBI clearance ang nagpapadelay!!

By the way, I just took my 3rd IELTS last 10 March, hopefully maka-7.0 na in all bands para sa Oz na lang ako hehe

Need pala orig copy of clearance sa Canada so di pede yung scanned copy. Tawagan ko si Ms. Sandra tomorrow. ;)

I suggest call Ms. Sandra & ask her how soon she can provide the clearance assuming complete ka sa requirements. In my case,:
    Tuesday, I talked with her.
She gave me DHL waybill number for me to track it po online.

Yep that's what I did. This morning I called her sa mobile nia. Then she said kung kaya ko daw maipadala na today para wed. mareceive nia na kasi naka-leave daw sya thurs and fri ata. So pinadala ko na yung form and reqts sa DHL directly to her address sa NBI (Mailed Clearance Section, NBI Taft) tpos pinadala ko na din yung payment. Sabi ko kung pwede ma-rush, sbi nia baka by friday or early next week mapadala na nia yung clearance sakin through DHL din.

For me, this is the most convenient, hassle-free way of handling this NBI clearance request.

Btw, ang gastos ng DHL ha. PHP1,200 per padala so PHP2,400 round trip haha

Yes @vibmanacap . It's best to call her and arrange for the delivery of your docs etc. But probably not this thurs and fri, kasi she's on leave daw.

SG ka din? PH to SG DHL charge is 720 pesos.
If may kakilala ka doon na malapit lang din, your option is to let your relative/friend pick-up your NBI clearance, scan, then email to you.

(6.5 and 6.0 for the last 2 attempts). I took last 10th May, sana 7.0 na in all bands para Oz nalang. :)

Tama ka, minsan mas mahal pa nga talaga yang "lambing" gasto na yan hahaha

So, for other OFWs out there, you have the option to contact Ms. Sandra through her mobile # +63-915-689-3113 to request for NBI Clearance and you may arrange with her to deliver the copy to you or you can have your relative in Manila to pick it up, scan it and email it to you. Mas mabilis and saves you $$.

    Cheers!

Hello there in Dubai @vibmanacap! hehe ;)

Yup. Sobrang bait nya talaga. I didn't expect her attitude would be like that. I hope more people will be like her.

Good move! Just send the fingerprint form, paste your 2x2 pic on it, old NBI copy and photocopy of your passport via DHL, FEDEX or any other courier services.

Sa mon/tues ko na ulit sya tawagan kasi uwi daw sya thurs and fri sa province due to what happened to her mom.

Thanks! @IslanderndCity. :)

Yung form (color blue) fi-fill-up-an mo sa Philippine Embassy. May responsible person dun na nagfafacilitate ng procedure including fingerprinting. Then he will stamp and sign it. Yung form na yun together with your old NBI clearance, 2x2 passport ang ipadala mo kay Ms. Sandra through DHL. Contact her muna before mo ipadala. You can arrange with her na i-deliver sa current address mo yung clearance after around 5 days. Please call her sa number nia posted here. :)

    Hello guys,

Did you upload your clearance without affixing your thumbmark? It should be done in the Embassy witnessed by someone there. thanks!
