Hi. ako di na nag map ng syllabus. Napansin ko kasi na meron at least isa na same description dun sa core subjects ni CPAA. check mo din yung sayo and then try to do the mapping.

Naggraduate ako 2004... Then i have CIMA diploma na nakuha ko nung 2011. San ikacount ng CPAA ung employment claims ko.. Yung after 2004 na bachelor degree o sa 2011?

Hi @reeyz24 sorry for the late response. As long as your job experience is relevant to the nominated occupation and your COE discloses the minimum information required by CPAA, it will be counted. Unfortunately, what happened to me is CPAA did not recognise my first two years of experience from a firm in Makati maybe because they failed to reach what CPAA needed to see (e.g. job description). Luckily the succeeding years counted and they considered exactly five years. However keep in mind that CPAA's assessment on employment is only their opinion. The case officer assigned to you would have the last say on that regard.

Hi @Dayanski and @reeyz24, just my thoughts, whatever the result on your employment assessment that the assessing body awarded is the same points that the case officer will follow. there is a disclaimer in the assessment letter but the case officer is not in the position to negate the result as he is not an expert in the duties and responsibilities of an accountant. cguro, basic knowledge, oo. it is for this reason, that with the introduction of EOI and skillselect, the department passed the liability and obligation to the experts in the field.

although, i dont know if there are cases in this site na nagkwento about incidents where the case officer lowered their points.

You hit it right in the sweet spot..

The CO is not an expert in determining whether your work experience fits that of what is required of a 221111 skilled migrant applicant. The CO is a generalist whereas the assessor in say CPAA is the specialist...

thanks @tasburrfoot, I'm a regular reader here but no time to reply on most posts. promised myself to be visible going forward and help everyone.

I don't have an agent when I applied for visa 189, have done mostly readings about booklet 6 and 11 from immi.gov.au and of course stories from friends, friends of friends and this forum.

Hi! Everyone here's our case. I'm an accounting graduate and CPA na rin dito sa Pinas. Nakagraduate na din ako ng MBA ang problema ko lang ang work ko sa government ako and hindi related sa accounting. Kung makakakuha man ako ng positive assessment sa education ko sa CPA Australia pagdating sa skills assessment baka dun ako negative. Napagusapan namin ng wife ko na sya na lang ang maging primary applicant. My wife is also BSA graduate. She work in private companies before from Feb 2001 - Aug. 2004 as, first 9 months as Accounting Clerk then promoted to Financial Analyst. Aug 2004 to Feb 2006 (General Accountant). From Feb 2007 up to present self employed na sya..nag put up sya ng Bookkeeping and other services. Registered naman sya sa DTI, BIR, Cityhall. Ang question ko lang ma consider kaya ng CPA Australia ang skills na ito kung General Accountant ang ilalagay nya sa application na nasa SOL? More on general accounting kase sya eversince. I will appreciate all your help. Thank you.

@iloveAU, the closest nominated skill for your wife appears to be Accountant (General). You can refer to the link below for the skill level commensurate to Accountant (General). Good luck!

Just got allocated to a CO yesterday - GSM Adelaide Team 23 who asked for evidence health only (already took mine last week and hoping the clinic uploads the results this week).

Does this mean all my other documents are good already?

Thanks sa replies. I have received an email na tapos na daw assessment ng cpaa sa application ko. Exactly 10 days after nareceive nila documents. Ganun ba talaga kabilis? Kinakabahan ako if positive or negative assessement.

@reeyz24, 10 days talaga ang processing time nila. bumabagal lang sila depende sa volume. ako kasi nun 2months. wala ba sila pinadala sa email mo na certified scanned copy? kasi if meron, pwede mo na ituloy ung EOI mo para naka-queue na ung name mo sa next invitation. habulin na ang 1 July. we never know what will happen sa sol.

If let say magkapag EOI na ko tas nakareceive na ko ng invitation before mag Jul 1, tas nawala na sa SOL ung Accountants. Pasok pa rin ba ko nun?

Was just granted a VISA today (nanginginig pa rin ako at di makaconcentrate! whew!). After exactly 1 month and 3 days, thank you Lorrrrrrd!

Kung sino man po meron sample of mapping ng subjects and yun letter nyo po sa assesing authority nyo baka pede po pa email sa add [email protected]? kakatapos ko lang mag ielts hoping for a favorable result, re ready ko na ang mga reqquirements ko just in case hehehe
