    ^may tinawagan pa kong isang travel agency, i forgot the name, their office is in Manila. mas mura ng konti ang quote nila actually but i just choose reli kase walking distance lang office nila sa office namin. try to call other travel agencies and compare their rates.

    may nakita ako, tiger air...manila to sg then sg to perth, around 15K lang kasama na 30Kg baggage....at meals...un nga lang at 8 hours ka stay sa sg :-)

    still looking though for a good airlines with a good deal...plan flight is on august 8 :-)

    Hi Guys...wanted to ask lang kung sino sa inyo ang nakapag-book thru AirAsia?...we're from Cebu kasi and we are planning to take Ceb-KL and KL-Melb na flights (we will be seeing our friends sa KL kasi for a day). Upon checking online, this route will cost us about 22,200PhP. Included na yung 30Kgs check-in baggage (for the two of us) and meals/comfort kit (for KL-Melb leg only). I was wondering if is there any issues for first time immigrant travelers when using LCCs (Low Cost Airlines)...Thanks a lot..:-)

    Guys, ask ko lang sana. Newbie here and we already got our PR visas and planning our first fly out to Aus. Question, lalo na sa galing Singapore, shout out kay TasBurrfoot, balak kasi namin after magresign, uwi muna saglit sa Manila siguro for a week lang to visit family but still fly to AUS from Singapore. Shempre mas type pa rin namin flights from here than from Manila.

    Of course by this time, wala na kaming mga e-pass. May issue ba sa immigration if I will only have one way ticket to SIN and then a flight to SYD? (Paranoid lang kasi alam ko strict na immigration for those flying to SIN whether may return ticket or not) Or pwede na ba pakita sa kanila yung PR welcome letter??

    @jellybean - why don't you get an OIC and don't surrender your EP; sabihin mo lang nawala - I didn't surrender mine and safekept it as a souvenir.

    Otherwise, wala ka choice but to register sa CFO. If you have a CFO, there will be no questions asked if you have a 1-way flight to Singapore. Anyway, makikita naman ang onward ticket mo to Sydney.

    Naisip ko lang, kung meron cebu pacific, and puwede naman bumili ng baggage allowance, better nga ang cebu pacific for first time immigrants. Because after you book, you can edit your booking and add even more baggage allowance.

    sa tigerair kase i saw a booking 15K lang then 30Kg ang baggage allowance... :-\)
    hindi po ako sa IOM nagpabook, namahalan ako sa rate nila. sa PAL ako nagpabook, naabutan ko yung promo rate nila. :) try to check PAL's website, parang may promo sila yesterday, dko lang alam until when.

    @JCsantos - yeah! saw it na. thinking of booking for early next year. If they pull this off well, papatok to sa mga pinoys here sa AU. I don't expect the quality of the trip to be top notch though. Sa leg room pa lang ng mga cebu pac carriers, medyo inaanticipate ko na ang mangalay after sitting in a stiff position for 8 hours. But if it gets the job done, I don't mind. :)
