Phone or actual Interview regarding Secondary Applicants (DeFacto)

Hi guys, does anyone here has experience that a case officer or PH embassy officer did visit or made a phone call to a family or friends that were listed in your submitted requirements to support a DeFacto relationship (for secondary applicant)? A phone call or actual visit perhaps to verify some details claimed regarding the declared Defacto relationship?

Any insight or personal experience will be highly appreciated po..

well, not sure if helpful, pero I have my partner added as my defacto - secondary applicant. We never experienced getting into a phone conversation with someone from AU Immigration. Not sure if may relevance sa no contact experience namin yung fact na PR Visa ang inapplyan ko and that I used the services of a MARA Agent. My hunch is, if umaabot sa point na tatawagan ka ng CO or anyone from Immigration regarding your De Facto - secondary applicant, it's probably to confirm some information you have sent over that they'd like to verify if true.

Hello,

my partner is the primary applicant. Wala nman pong tumawag sa mga friends or relatives nmen about our application. I think as long as complete yung documents nyo to support the relationship, ok na yun. Ask for statutory declarations from relatives and friends, proof un na matagal na tlga ung relationship nyo. Aside from stat decs, need din ng proof na uve been living together - joint bank accounts, shared expenses, travels together - kung naitago pa ing plane tix submit nyo din.

siguro nga less likely matawagan for verification kapag PR visa. ganun rin kasi ang aapplyan ng soon-to-be hubby ko. ako yung secondary applicant and ako yung magaasikaso ng requirements to prove our defacto habang busy pa sya sa pagaayos ng CDR nya. also sent you a PM Ma'ams

Hi. Australian case officers are strict. Because of their standard. Written affidavit from ur frends or relatives about ur relationship is enough. Kung real ang mga nakasulat dun, no further phone calls from them. At iyon ang 1 sa mga standard nila, na lahat ng ibibigay natin sa kanila eh totoo. I may say na napakagandang ugali ng mga aussie un. Kaya nga naimbento ang mga affidavit and stat dec. pra gamitin ng maayos.

One more thing, affidavit kapag ang statement eh notarised from Phils, stat dec kapag ang statement eh notarised from australia. Hindi mo pwede hingan ng statement ang friends mo na nasa manila in a stat dec format dahil hindi legal satin ang stat dec form. Simple affidavit lng oks na.

@lester_lugtu kaso po sir hndi kmi nagssma sa isang bahay. pero kung evidences ang usapan, mrami naman kmi. joint accts, proof of billing na may pareho nmin pangalan sa iisang address, joint travels, plane tickets, accommodations etc. naisip ksi ng bf ko ayaw raw nya mawala ung excitement pg nagpropose sya agad at biglaang kasal. may pagkaromantiko kasi. kasi mejo gagamble kami sa application nato pag nagkataon.

Agree with @lester_lugtu -- as long as the evidence you provide is factual, I think there shouldn't be a problem kahit tumawag pa ang DIBP to confirm, although so far I've never heard of cases na nagtawag sila; usually they would call about employment references lang.

I see, may ilan ilan ren aq nbsa sa forum na naapprove as defacto kht ndi ngssma sa iisang bahay. Swerte nla. Regarding joint acct, ok lng po kya na 6mos plang ung bank acct by the time na magsubmit ng EOI? Ksi by that time 1 yr nren kme as defacto base sa idedeclare nmen na date qng klan kme nagsimulang magsama. Even if maconsider na recent, pede nman suportahan ng written statement na ksi bago plang kme nagstart mgsma?

and about the affidavit coming from friends and family..mga gaano b kahaba ang gusto nla..appox ilang words?..

also ung statement nmn proving our defacto relationship..ilang pages ung nagawa nui po?

wala nman pong required na number of words or pages, ung auntie at pinsan ng partner 1-2 sentences lang ang isinagot dun sa tanong sa form 888 so far wala nman kaming naging problema.

Ung statement nming 2 ako naka 2 pages ng sinulat sya 1 lang yata, mas importante nag co collaborate lang ung statements nyong 2 pati na dn ung statement nung family/friends nyo.

@happyinmelbourne34 sorry sis antgal q bgo nasagot naging busy sa work at si hubby busy rn sa cdr. Anyways, salamat ng mrami cge gnun nlng gwen nmen 1-3 oages sguro gwen nmeng limit sa written statements.
